bless up mi General 🔥🔥 10sec machine
Congrats daddy ❤️❤️🥳🥳 bring tears to my eyes cause I know how hard you’ve been working towards it 👏🏽👏🏽Proud daughter of a DRAG RACER 🥳🥺
Be proud of Dad alwayz
The joy of achieving a set goal !congrats Kevin 😎💪🏾
Great dedication!! Just a tip... lower the car, maybe you will have to widen your fenders, replace back bumper with a defuser, so you improve air drag... great job Kevin, big up yourself...👏👏🇯🇲🇺🇸
The funny thing is. Now he's got the 10sec bug. Now he's going to want 10.5 then 10.0
This is a guy that loves his car
Yes Kevin , you show what is the true meaning of perseverance , never give up , because nine seconds is so much possible.
So happy to see someone so passionate about what they're doing
Feel da one yah. Can truely see the joy
Big up Kevin! Well done on the footage @876 streets it's a video like no other trust me brought tears 😢. . .I felt like I was the one with the achievement whilst watching. Humbled and angicpated achievement unlock me boss. Just the trophy 🏆 and u will achieve it too.🤝🏾
Mi feel every emotion bro is like a achieve it... you deserve it bro... all the hard work pay off
Really long post...
That was awesome to see and actually kinda humbling , last weekend I took my 2003 GMC Sierra single cab 1500 to the track for the second time since I finished the build 3 or 4 months ago I've been slowly putting this thang together for over 3 years because of constantly working on and racing my small tire turbo 99 Z28 and half of 2019 I was constantly fighting that car and breaking shit trying to get faster to stay competitive wich is hard enough then doing it on a pretty small budget yea when you tell sombody you have low 5 second ( 1/8 ) turbo Camaro on alchohol its sounds awesome and a good time (it is sometimes) but that car was driving me crazy so about 5 or 6 months ago my best friend talked me into selling him the car as roller to finish my truck because I really wasn't having all that much fun and I almost honestly forgot what it feels like to just get out in a badass street car/truck that can whup some ass with and you drive it to work the next day! I bought the truck from the original owner, he was in his late 80s when I bought in 2016 it had 52,428 miles on it when I got it, the truck is black no pin stripe and dark charcoal grey interior flawless inside and out it looks like a new truck hell it still does I had it ceramic coated last month just to make sure old girl stays pretty! When I got it I kinda knew what I wanted to do with it wich is a fast street/strip turbo truck that can be daily driven and everything done right and the least amount of ebay/Amazon china parts as possible and I'm proud to say I did it but that's another reason it a little over 3 years to finish. It's got a half filled ls2 block with Texas Speed forged crank and rods D.S.S forged pistons with the big boy wrist pins and King racing bearings and arp head studs, main and rod bolts melling oil pump and a billet double roller timing set (that it didn't need but it looks bad ass and got a deal on it) it's got a badass LJMS custom ground turbo cam, LS7 lifters and trays, comp pushrods, BTR 660 valve springs and a trunion kit in the stock rockers it's got a nasty idle for a turbo motor, I bought a set of LSA heads from a buddy and I sent them to PRC for their most badass cnc port job, badass Manley intake and exhaust valves I probably could have got a set of AFR or Trick Flow heads for what I spent on my CNC'ed lsa heads but dollar for dollar I think my heads would match their cfm or do a little better, it's a used Holley high ram and NW cable style throttle body at the moment it's got some Bosch 210 injectors and a used black Mezier billet aluminum water pump, a nice black Mechman 250 amp alternator no a/c or power steering that's not a big deal to me but now I wish I would have just kept the power steering and A/c its 99 degrees with 700% humidity in Alabama right now LoL now more expensive stuff it's got Huron speed v3 single t6 turbo kit with a nice big air to air intercooler and a 4yo Garrett 85mm x275 class legal turbo it's a badass turbo and capable of alot of power but I've been saving up for a month or two to send it back to Forced Inductions to get rebuilt and there newest bad boy billet wheel and possibly a different exhaust housing but I doubt it, right now it's got a 5" aluminum fender exit exhaust with the gate merged in after the o2 sensor, I hated to cut the fender but where the turbo is you dont have any other options when you want to run a 5" exhaust it's got a polished trim ring around it. I'm running a black aluminum 13 gallon fuel cell and one of Holleys badass brushless drop in fuel cell style fuel pumps and the truck runs on ignite e90, It's got a used thiccc Griffin radiator and oil cooler with summit brand electric fans my trans cooler is under the truck with a fan also I'm running the th400 from the Camaro it's a stock HD case with decent hard parts a few billet pieces with a PTC converter I used the factory rearend rebuilt with only Strange Engineering parts the only thing I wish I would have done is went to a 5 lug ,it's got Calvert leafsprings & double adjustable shocks and caltrac bars with a 3" drop out back up front its stock except for the shocks, 2" drop and 5 lug conversion it's got black 17×4 Weld Alumastars and black and polished Weld RTS s77's single beadlock 15x11's at the moment it's got 285/60/15 Hoosier dragradials and a Holley efi with a HP ecu that controls everything I'm running motion raceworks co2 kit for the boost controller . When I type all that out it seems like I got over 50,000 dollars in the truck but I dont its probably closer to 20k it would be alot more if I didn't do all the work I did and trading around and used parts and living in a area where there are a ton of racers and having alot of good friends who helped me get it together especially all the help I after I sold my race car and wanted to get the truck done so I could race it some this season my wife would kill me if she knew LOL That's a pretty in depth description of my truck its definitely the best looking vehicle I've owned and I'm proud of it, it came out so much better than I planned and about 500hp more than I was thinking lol I was planning on just throwing a cam and springs in the factory 5.3 and little turbo lol I think it could make a little over 1200 and live a while but after I got the truck running and tuned I went to the track and ended up goin 6.81@ 101mph on almost 11 pounds of boost just waste gate I didn't get my co2 bottle filled yet I was pretty happy with that because the day we started it for the first day someone asked how fast did I want to go and I said I would be happy with a 5.80's so the second time we went back to the track I had been playing around on the street and had it turned up a little still a soft ass tune with 19 pounds of boost I figured it should go 6.20s and it should have but I couldn't even make a pass without spinning unless I footbraked I turned it back down ,started messing with the caltracs and shocks nothing worked and I was pissed!! A few days later I figured out the problem, that day I killed the tires playing around doin 90mph rolling burnouts and I felt like a idiot for not paying attention and letting somthin that small make me that mad. I gotta learn how to have fun at the track again
Yuh comment dun mi da

Keep up the effort, you'll get there. Adopt a method or two to jump you a few steps.
So happy fi u bossy
This man need to ditch the spring blade and do a coilovers setup on the car to reduce drag and create more down force
You do know that there are cars running 8s on leaf springs and caltracs.
Yes, but the amount of work done to get it to stick is hardly worth the effort
