I'm team Naori too, not because Rumi is bad in my eyes, but because I like Naori more personality and looks wise. I agree with you that longer hair is better than shorter hair, also I like Naori's teasing personality. I like that we don't have the perspective of Jun yet, it's a little bit like Dangers in My Heart but reversed where we didn't have the perspective of Yamada, so we had to guess how she were feeling, which makes it interesting sometimes to have some mystery around some character's motivation or feelings.

specially after watching episode 3 , I hate Rumi even more. So, in this episode we found out that Naori was Jun's first love and Rumi know that, she knew that both of their feelings are mutual for each other and they are only people who don't know that. Rumi is the only one who knows that Jun have feelings for Naori and vice versa, despite that she did what she did. She pretty much playing both of their emotions and she still make moves on Jun even though she is one who break up with him and force him to date her sister (Rumi shill try kiss and hug Jun casually and emotionally when he is her sisters boyfriend)
I’m really enjoying it so far. It’s nice finding a show that takes itself seriously, even when the premise is a little out-there. The characters seem to have a depth to them where even if I may not agree with their decisions, I can feel the thoughts and emotions that went into making it. They feel interestingly flawed. I’m also loving watching the families interact. The banter is definitely nerdy but really brings out their personalities. Interested in seeing the direction the show goes with the rest of the season.

This was a good one that isn't just the normal love triangle. One has already dated the guy and broken up with him in the first episode so that's got my intrigue.
I'm just surprised they included Jun and the fathers in a passionate discussion of WWII warbird aesthetics. Definitely not something I was expecting.
If the author is creative enough, he/she could go to the yandere route, something like the twin un-alives the other twin to have the MC to herself. This is anime, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. haha
I always vote for a harem, I hope they go in that direction, I’m a huge fan of harems, I’m currently reading “Into the Deepest, Most Unknowable Dungeon”, it has a harem & a reverse harem, there’s a female character that has a bunch of dudes. It has a really nice art style, the female characters have a sort of chibby style to them.
I was actually with pair of twins when I was a teenager, we used to fool around, I never dated either of them, but it went on for probably 2 years, fun times.

They aren’t identical twins and now that they are older they have different body types. Boobs. One has big boobs.
I'm team Naori. I think what Rumi did is really bitchy, I mean both the girls know that they both like the same guy ,right ? and rumi, when she saw that how June and Nauri get along so well together because they both like reading books which are mature of their ages, they both are top student in school and they always get along good from the beginning, but as they get older Rumi don't have much time to spent with June. Then she decided to confess June despite knowing that that her sister also like him and they are more close and told her after that June agreed (she could have ask her that she okay with the for her to confess to June). But I don't think this is just guilt, of course she felt guilty at the beginning but that guilt melt down soon after while she having fun time with June (she said that in the anime) and she also said that it's Naori fault that she didn't make a move first (she says exactly that in 1st half of the 1st episode), so I really don't know why she suddenly broke up. Rumi is so manipulative, I just don't like her at all, at first she take the guy her sister like and get along well with because she's jealous and anxious, so without telling her sister - she ask him out and I think June is not love with Rumi ask him but just get along with the idea of going out with the girl he know from childhood. After they start dating he slowly falling love with rumi, and now she decided to break up and even ask him to date her sister now,right after he just got his first break up (just give him a break). She just do whatever she wants with the people without careing theirs emotion.
A little like Taiga Aisaka and Minori I guess.
I think it would be fun if the 2nd also feels guilty and pulls something similar, both FAFO when he winds up with someone completely new who wins lol. These types of stories (almost) never pull that though.
I had a hard time with this show I am like 10 mins into EP 2. I haven't finished it.

I feel the same as you except for the conversations and references, I really enjoy them, I'm 35 years old and anime was not my first otaku love, it was the Star Wars movies, back to the future and Stephen King's books, I started to get interested in anime as a teenager and even though I love it I still have that nostalgic love for the classics, regarding the rest, as I said I completely agree, especially with the sudden jumps in time, I feel like something is missing in the middle between scenes and I It's a little annoying, I also think the series desperately needs Jun's POV, at this point hes just getting carried away by what the twins want and it seems very toxic on both sides so I know it will be very difficult for me to enjoy the relationship between him and whoever ends up with him in the end, but with that said, im enjoying the series, flaws and all, is interesting and it feels fresh having the story from the sisters perspective
Look, the thing is about the girls. Jun is just a guy they like I think that what he thinks is not as important as the relationship between the girls. And yes, I think the guy will end up with one of the girls, and as you predicted he will go back with Rumi.

I really hate it when they do that when she gets the guy and then bites the bullet. That's really annoying
IMHO, the show reeks of pretentiousness and the MC has no agency.
Neither Jun nor Naori are actually smart, they are portrayed to be smart but both act like fools: *one just does as he is told and the other doesn't work on what she wants*
Rumi is the usual cartoonish onesan that acted selfishly both episodes but at least she is not portrayed to be smart so I will let it slide.
So far the story is kind of overly dramatic and the MC is unlikable and a fool... maybe I'm getting way too old for this.
Will give it the 3-ep rule because the show has good production values... and maybe there is a plot twist or something as these 2 eps look rushed story wise.
This show is OK. Nothing special.
