We need more of this raw comedy at every level in society. I'm nothing special but I've always been able to laugh at myself when someone makes a good joke. Everyone gets along better if we make jokes about each other and accept it by laughing at them.
If I may say so boldly, I think Ricky Gervais is the atomic bomb of humor. He pushes boundaries you don't expect all the time, but none the less his dedication to humor is profound!
Something that _hasn't_ been mentioned enough is Ricky's brilliant physicality when it comes to acting out scenarios - he conjures up totally credible visual images just by subtle body movements and facial expressions. Amazing!✨👍

Hi Fat jokes remind of the time when whilst travelling on business in Hong Kong in the early 1980's, I was way over my baggage allowance and was asked to pay 1200 HKD (about £100) excess, I asked the young lady to put me down as a lard arse and offset that against my allowance. After I explained what a lard arse was, she laughed and reduced my bill by half. Keep going Ricky. the world needs laughter.

my family has fought against cancer for decades. 3 generations with cancer. and we laugh our asses off at this. the only people who dont like ricky are people with zero humor or sarcasm, or they're just not intelligent enough to distinguish between humor and seriousness.
@@ghomerhust i had a run in with cancer back in 2018, was having a colonoscopy when a surgeon was called in, not a good sign, doctor told me he’ll see me before i left, in recovery the Doctor who performed the scan told me that it was definitely a carcinoma, I said are you sure, he said yes, I said thank god for that, the other Doctor told me it was Cancer, he looked blank for a moment then wished me the best of luck, on a happy note I’m seeing my oncologist in August after 5 years cancer free, take care
I have seen every thing Ricky has done including his XFM and pod cast days before he was globally well known. There are 3 things that I have never heard him joke about that I can recall… it’s suicide, murder and still births. If he has, I stand corrected, but if not and everything is as you say, fair game…that should be too. But of course any person who can actually think, knows that there are some things that are *NOT* funny. But don’t you be offended by my opinion will you. Because if you *are* offended and respond to me in a retaliatory manner, well that would be hilarious because you would be contradicting yourself.😂
