I think I like this speaker more than most listeners here, and it seems more balanced with this amp than it has in the past, with less recessed mids and not as hot on top too. It has good bass, dynamics, and detail for such a small box, and seems a worthy contender at the $300 price point. I like it more than the much costlier 3030i.
I'm even more surprised how decent these little Spectors sound with this Nova, than I was by how bad the 3030i's sounded with it. On paper, at least the one in my head, they shouldn't. Go figure. Still a bit thin and bright, but less so than with many amps, and with good speed and energy, and even reasonable texture. Somehow the mid-treble overdose these speakers usually create is a little less painfull than usual.
You don't need 300 watts to drive those speakers, its overkill makes the presentation hard sounding! Additionally while continuing to change out speakers with midfi amplifiers how about changing your music selection its getting old, you've been playing the same music material more than a year now!

Doesn't sound too bad. Okay with a sub ? The sound is more palatable than 3030is, especially with this amp on 3030is.
