Jesus, despite everything that Phoenix did, with so many presses and objections and literally pushing the guy to the edge with evidence, it STILL took Mia coming back from the dead to save his ass. Really sells how good of a blackmailer Redd White is
capcom really made a great character with redd white, you really can't help it but actually hate him so much for how he is a skilled blackmailer, and his defeat is legit satisfying.
@@kinopiko01 his defeat was underwhelming however. I mean, he literally murdered our mentor ON THE 2ND TRIAL, and has so many holes in his testimony that it resembles Swiss cheese. Come on. I would’ve expected him to be the final villain of the first game, considering how he is supposedly the guy who owns politicians and officers, but it’s the chief of police, who needed to have Lana as the chief prosecutor in order to have power.
@@kinopiko01 And to make it even better, in the third game, Godot blames Phoenix for her death instead of Redd White. Do recall that Godot couldn’t see the color Red on a white surface… so he literally could not see the true culprit and blamed Phoenix.
I like how he noticeably appears much more anxious as he keeps testifying because he probably didn’t think that he would actually lose to a lawyer he just assaulted and framed for murder.
there's a reason he's the second boss of the first game, he may have a lot of power and blackmail over quite literally everyone under his belt, but he is actually terrible in court as he wasn't expecting to be outsmarted by a mere lawyer and expected the judge to agree with whatever he says. Of course this also doesn't work because if Mia didn't come in last minute we would've lost the case just because of the judge being blackmailed alone.
Yea this case had so much potential with an all powerful ceo who has the entire police force in his palm but they brought it down to a piece of paper from a spirit. If developed correctly, this could’ve been a great case 4 in any game
@@rorschach3959 I guess the Ace Attorney series really had to highlight at how important is the Spirit Channelling Technique when it comes to courtroom trials. If Mia Fey never died, Maya would never become relevant.
Never understood why Redd White cared about hearing all those names. It's not like he didn't know the consequences of his blackmail, nor did he care about them
Redd White could benefit from a rewrite, imo. He was wasted. With enough potential he could've been the most evil villain in the trilogy and he ended up a coward instead
Spoiler Warning . . . . To think that this was the guy who did the Fey family wrong 15 years prior with blackmail and false evidence. A "big" man tricking Fey "mediums" with his future becoming "small" in the end. That's his original name, spelled, J-E-R-K.
Ace Attorney and Among Us goes well with each other huh? We got Mia who is a ghost who can witness the events as they happen and make a completely reliable testimony if she was summoned. How convenient.

it was a matter of being worried that he reputation would be ruined if it were published.
The whole reason White even stole Mia's stuff was because she had dirt on him. Those names, they were the dirt he tried to steal
