as someone who surfs, that was a really interesting question you had Bert when you asked them point blank the difference between them and the best surfers in the world, ie Kelly & JJF. interesting to see these guys boil it down to reading the ocean so well. that’s a next level answer that i wouldn’t have thought of - that was pretty rad.

I really love the dichotomy of these two different worlds combining into relatability. I’m a lifelong surfer and lover of standup and watching these two walks of life overlap is eye-opening and refreshing ❤
Damn I felt bad for Koa baking in the Sun sweating his ass off and Bert totally ignored him just kept telling his stories of ppl they didn’t know but Nate And Koa were so gracious and went along with it the best they could They did great and so fun to listen too them can’t wait for them to just blow up their podcast with success 😊

My first episode..big fan of Nate and koa and am about 2 minutes in and am pumped for what's to come in the next hour. At 43, and desert bound, I'm obsessed with going surfing, Want to surf baaaaad...but got a family and work nights in a factory, probably time to give up the dream...sorry, this is your show, not mine, nobody cares,....hahahaha the workout shit is great. What’s kind of hilarious is Bert getting al giddy asking them about Kelly Slater seeming to be completely oblivious that Nate’s older bro, while maybe not the GOAT, will go down as one of the greatest surfers of all time.

I love the surf vlogs too man they are so calming and make me forget about the real world , those guys truly are living their best life I would love to live on the north shore and surf for a living , and these dudes motivate me to be the best version of myself

I like that ending line about their content "Allows you to escape and not be where you are if you're not happy". It has helped me so much these last years. Also motivated me to finally try surf too just before I hit 40.
