It doesn't count, but I once thought the headless horseman in Skyrim was a Halloween Easter egg, as that's the day I first saw it. Great first encounter, but sad when I found out it wasn't true
Sky rim does have calendar based events, but those use the in-game calendar.

Sid Meier’s Pirates is a game that could use a remaster, its still great just a graphical overhaul would be nice.
It's on steam and i think it had some minor graphic updates? idk though. It needs a sequel imo, not a remaster

I remember growing up and having an original Xbox and came in posesion of sid meiers pirates and it's what sparked my love for the era of pirates and the music they had then and I remember actually playing it on the day when the speech is changed and thought my mind had just thought it was a misthought thinking they didn't speak like that a day before

Oh not a date, but a time. Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2, Tattooine level gives you night and day depending on the time. If I remember correctly I think there's a later level that does it too

I've been playing Sid Meier's Pirates practically my entire life, starting on original Xbox, then on 360, and now on One, and I've apparently NEVER played on September 19th because I had no idea about the pirate speak. I have been missing out big time.
