- I have tried to lose weight for a long time but have had a hard time keeping it off, mostly due to my PCOS I believe. I have started taking metformin and have been using it for two weeks to see if it will help with my symptoms I experience, mainly weight, acne, binge eating, etc. I am going to continue to update on if metformin helps me lose weight and how I feel. Thanks for watching let met know know if you have any experience with it yourself.

@@sarayousaf2661 Take a pill 20 minutes after you’ve finished eating one of your main meals to minimize side effects. I just started taking it, and right now I’m taking a pill after dinner every day 🥰 I’ve had almost no side effects so far

Interesting. I didn't lose weight solely adding metformin
Started metformin 2 weeks ago- no side effects really at all. Appetite is definitely more suppressed to the point I didn’t even need to eat dinner last night. I’m insulin resistant so this med helps me a lot. Took Berberine prior for almost 6 months religiously and it never suppressed my appetite like this does. Hoping for good results going forward!

@amyjo7105, Ive been on this drug since Jan2022. I have never had this kind of success in my life!! I started wearing size 24. My current size is now a 4-6. Im also almost 60. When my Dr gave this to me, she said, I dont know if this will help you or not. Id say, Oh Hell Yes It Did!! My wt went from 232 down to 112. Never ever had this much happy about my wt and size. Ive lost over 100lbs 7x as an adult. The wt always came back and gave me a little extra of it. Im hoping this was the last time I have to be concerned about it coming back. I had to go through an online subscription to get metformin for my pcos. For some reason all three doctors told me just lose weight. I got so sick and tired of the hearing that sh*t because it made me develop an ED. I should start mine in the next week or so. I am so excited and hopefully it helps me with my cycle.

I struggle with tummy troubles most days anyway so I guess I'm not that scared of that symptom. I heard it happens when you eat sugar so I'll just be avoiding high-sugar foods for the most part. I'll be sure to pick up a B12 supplement though. I didn't ask for the meds and it surprised me to be put on them but hopefully they work out well and help save me from getting diabetes and help lower my testosterone or whatever.

I was prescribed metformin for weight loss too but I’m scared to start taking it because I don’t know if it will affect my blood sugar when I decide to stop it later, hopefully after weight loss result.
So glad I found this video, I’ve started on metformin again! My appetite has significantly reduced, I have a healthy bowl of cereal in the morning, and a simple protein meal in the evenings and that does me for the day! Although, I’m not as lucky 😂 cause my toilet is being punished a lot, I heard that does subside after time though. I’d love to see an update if there isn’t one already!

Been on Metformin for pcos and insulin resistance for a year and a half now.. HAVENT LOST A GRAM of any of the weight i gained. Prior to Metformin was on chiro and myo inositol DIDNT loose weight either.

You should use berberine and inositol instead of Metformin.
Metformin has terrible side effects.
I'm thinking it's the diet. Are you drinking those super sweet Starbucks drinks?
