Mr. Amazing Works just go for the nature

Another great job! Don't pay any attention to rude people and their criticisms. Keep doing the good things God has gifted you to do!

It would have been better if you left the natural shape of the wood. The plastic frame just doesn't seem to complement the wood and a clock doesn't have to be round on the outside edge
Thank you for watching Nancy Bennett
It's not plastic it's aluminum. It looks amazing! Great idea
Wish I read your comment before I posted the same thought lol. However the clock created here still looks amazing. Way better than the original clock.
Nice job
Would have looked so classy
Looks good either way, but the wood by itself without the old plastic is The BEST !! 👍👍👍👍👍, et al
Yeah I think it looks just as good on the wood without the plastic, for a ' rustic' look
He should not change the shape of log slice it is naturally beautiful
I bought one years ago, just a wood slice with lots of polyurethane lol. Gorgeous
Very true..i wxpected them to do away wth plastic
I like the rustic look better, too.
Should have left it without the plastic. Nice idea ruined by plastic!
Thank you for watching Les Coles
It's aluminum
Muito bom 👏👍 sucesso aí no canal !
Thank you for watching Paulo Lopes
Bellissimoooooo.....(Bravissimo.....GRANDIOSO).....
Thank you Antonio Sciaraffia
Beautiful !! I seem to do the same thing with the stuff I have around !! Too fun!! I agree with another commentor, That the woodframe wood have beautiful enough..!! with out the metal or plastic frame...with all do respect it was your project and I enjoyed it allot!! Thanks ~Peace~
Thank you for watching Dani Stevens
ingénieux et original!
It's cute but I loved the irregular shape of the slab with the bark still attached prior to the trim. Wish you turned it into a clock that way.
You did a good job, but it could've been better, if you had left out the old plastic frame. The wood alone would've looked very attractive. As I said, good job!
Thank you for watching Doonwati Singh. I will make a wall clock time soon. only the wood
+Mr. Amazing Works - As long as you're open to suggestions . . . I like the idea of the wood alone without the old plastic frame or the silver colored circle surrounding it. I might also suggest that you super glue the painted black letters on instead of using those tiny nails. If you don't like that look, you can always put those tiny nails in afterwards. But I really do like the look of the wood alone without the old frames.
Cover keeps spiders n co. away.. cobwebs bind too. My problem without the plastic cover is, a wooden wall clock that attractive, it’s now open for anyone’s game of 🎯..
Now that’s a real waste .

Ughhh....
Weve had wooden clocks like these, FOR YEARS... ❤
AND IN THE PAST 60 YEARS...
NOT ONE PERSON, OR, CHILD, OR, ANIMAL... HAS EVER THOUGHT TO USE ANY OF OUR CLOCKS AS A DARTBOARD.
NEVER.
Sheesh....
Were you guys raised by crazy lunatics, in the back woods, without any manners...??
LOL!
Smh!
that would look good in someone's cabin, especially if it's a log cabin
I felt the same about the clock you should of left the natural shape of the clock and just added the batteries and the hands; more organic
Yeah, everyone thought the same idea...leave the shape of the original tree trunk & just add the parts. A lot more work done here for a less attractive piece. Great idea overall though!
Muy bien trabajo excellente !
you were not born to be a crafter if you fail to see the intrinsic value of your materials.
You've got hairy arms like my dad. I sure miss him. He could make or fix anything too. Built an open cockpit biplane in his garage. It's still flying aeronautics to this day. I learned a lot from watching him. Thanks for a Happy moment.
Awesome so darn awesome----Thanks
Thank you for watching Deb Morris
I'd like to see that frame painted a glossy black. I think a rich glossy black, coordinating with the black numbers, would really pop against the stained wood. Or, leave the frame out altogether.
Hi
I was admiring the bright nail heads, against the black numbers, which I think echo the chrome frame nicely!
Nice job.
Reminds me of a clock my family had when I was a kid that was made out of a chunk of a cypress knee. It was a thick enough slab that it didn't need anything added to house the movement, so it was able to be its original irregular shape.
Thanks for watching
I would have fitted the clock mech direct to the log slice, and just put dots for the hours, lacquered it, job done.
Thank you for watching Kevin Behr
Why destroy the beauty of the wood
Exactly. I was thinking that’s what he was going to do.
Amazing, I just learnt one more thing today. Beautiful! I have got one I refused to through away, my son got the glass broken. Am going to fix it. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching Chibuzo
Personally, I think I'd have used the wood without the frame. Imagined you were just going to use the battery box n hands of the original clock.
Thank you for watching SteenyStuff
иι¢є👍
Turned out Great! I like the dark center, wood cracks, nails and the smooth clock movement. FYI, a cabinetmaker told me to coat all sides of the wood to prevent warping from moisture.
Thank you for watching Philip
Why did you cut the live edge off the slice of wood and put it all back in that ugly plastic case?
MatchstalkMan You're absolutely right!!!!!!!!!
MatchstalkMan yeah , i it would be great if he didn't cut it in the round shape
They sell wood like that already cut to size at your local hobby store. For example AC Moore is a national chain. They come in many different sizes in matter of fact.
PEACE. ✌✌
MatchstalkMan : My thought exactly. He cut the beautiful part off, And replaced it with what should have been tossed out????
Couldn't figure out what purpose it served to use the old clock's framework on the wood. The wooden clock would have looked much better without all that plastic around it. It looks like the only changes made were the backdrop and the numbers, even though you did a good job with the whole process.
Thank you for watching
like others, I would have just routed out the middle and added the clock mechanism to the live edged plank. Nice idea but a missed opportunity.
🌷🌷lovely handiwork 🌷🌷
yes
Thank You! Rezina Castle
Nice clock. I've seen that done with a bigger version of wood from a cut of a stump, but not a little one like that.
AY LOVED👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for watching Luz Ippolito
That clock looks better than my house
Wow really enjoyed this because he showed all the tools that would be needed for this project. Pretty cool....keep'em coming.

Thank you for watching Green Revolution Pakistan Up cycle

Thank you for watching atiya firdouse
Thank you for sharing.
I just made my first custom clock... it's a "grandson" clock, because it's 3x smaller than a grandfather clock. It also plays music every hour, and I just posted a video on my channel!
Good, i appreciate your creativity
This is a 'man thing' who has tools and skills!!
Beth Summer ms co VG but
My goodness.. I would rather buy a new one😂😂😂😂
So beautiful I have never seen a clock like this before
Thank you for watching Sahas Dilsara

Love the time that you Set it to at the end 👍👍👍
Thank You
Good idea!
I like the concept and did a similar creation with a 10" table saw blade!
Thank You!
I mean the edges the round part should paint it black or brown I like that that is so awesome I think Brown would have been better because the wood that is so awesome
Thank you for watching
Wow!Modern rustic I like that. I would use a metal frame and metal numbers for my decor.Thanks.
Thank you for watching thelma lou
Somebody buy this man a sander 😁
Thanks for watching
I loved it better in the natural stage with the bark, without that frame!,,,,,,!!!!!!!!!
Thank You! Carminc Torrellaso
You have ... neat tools, creative and artistic talent, admirable patience and a truly interesting imagination! Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank You
Here is a tip for those who will take it if you take a torch and lightly go over it the wood ring before you decide to put the enamel over it it will give it a darker color for one but will bring out the wood Rings inside of the wood and give it an more expensive country look which people are willing to pay top dollar for at least that is my experience with my wood carvings and makings and projects when I was doing them just a thought and yes he did a wonderful job on the clock however personally I would not have put plastic numbers I would have used an engraver or a wood burner that way to increase the value of the clock
Thank you for watching Josh Womble

Thank you for watching
This is beautifully done.❤
Liked the clock, good creative thinking outside the Box, Great idea! Thanks!👍😊
Thank You! Dave Deatherage
I put a picture of my car on the face of an old clock and hung it in my garage. My friends love it. 😊
Beautiful, but I wish you hadn't added the plastic framing tho
Without plastic cover it will be turn in to real time peace
Thank you for watching Smart Bullet
Clever idea.
Thank You
Beautiful hand work
Its a nice idea to create a classic style wooden clock, instead why don't you just replace the battery use the old clock itself 😊😋
Thank you for watching Prasanna Chakravarthi
Woooow
Thank You!
that clock looking good!
Thanks for watching
Great idea, Mr. AW. I just found some $4.00 nine inch plastic wall clocks on the Target web site that I am going to order. I can't buy the clock works by themselves for this price, so I am going to follow your example and build clocks for my family. I believe that I will omit the plastic around the outside of the clock, but time will tell. Thanks for this video. Stay safe.
Thanks for watching
Very nice and beautiful i love it thank you for your sharing this good video.
Wow cool wooden clock
Amazing sir
Would a fully have like a clock made out of whole log slice more and not the cut circle but just me maybe
Exellent but if the needles were painted in silver or chrome. It would be more clear to see it
È una meraviglia!! Solo avere l'intuizione di fare una cosa del genere è per me sbalorditivo ma anche la manualità di esecuzione
*un .... non ho parole* grazie
Thanks for watching
Superb work.. full watched...
I loved the idea!
Thank You
Beautiful!!!
Thank You
Good.. but frame is not matching
The white frame spoils the whole clock...
Good recycling stuff.. Like it ❤️
He destroyed a working clock and used a gas fired engine and spray paint on wood that would have returned to soil if undisturbed. How is that recycling?
Brilliant!
Amazing..... Thank you
Thank you for watching
honestly the wooden clock shape would look more better than the plastic frame, how ever good work
Genius...😎
thank you
Nice, but it would have been better with the natural wood and bronze numbers, hour, minute and sec. hands.
Use the skinny side of the hammer head to start the small nails without hammering your fingers, that's what it's made for. nice clock
Thanks for watching
So you made a clock into a clock. Very inventive
Thanks for watching
Kewl! Thanks! I needed this tutorial today to create a new clock using old components. Love the wood look! You did a great job!
Good job. The wood itself would've looked nice or you could've also painted the outer rim black. But nice job though👍👍
Thank you Mario Alcantar
Ohhhhh too much hardworking
Thank You!
Amazing work! But hey! Why would I even throw out the clock if it's workin?
That clock is beautiful
Thank You 👍
The wood by itself stood out
I watched, I liked 👍 the video,..
but I thrown my old clock.

Never grind wood unless you have a full face mask with air supply as the most damaging element is the invisible fine dust (sometimes called “coarse inhalable particles” ranging from 2-10 microns). Basically, these tiny bits of sawdust float around the air and linger even after the tools have stopped running. These invisible particles get inhaled and cause tiny wounds and scarring to our lungs: each time this happens, it causes a very small amount of irreversible damage. The immediate effect is unnoticeable, but over long periods of time, this can result in significantly decreased lung capacity, and a number of other health issues.
Awesome work😍👍🏼
