My favorite modern Rolex SS model but I have to agree with the case! The maxi case can be a little bulky on the wrist compared to the curved case like with the Daytona/DJ.
To me the Pepsi is the holy grail of sport Rolexes. Don’t like the Batman or batgirl but Pepsi Jubilee is just perfect. Hope they won’t discontinue this reference before my name comes first on the list (been waiting for 6 years at 17 dealers…!!)
I like my BLNR on jubilee slightly better than BLRO. I think the biggest appeal for BLRO is that it’s iconic. Also, the black for night and blue for night on a GMT bezel makes the most sense.
This question is for Rolex experts here: When the back of a Rolex GMT (or Submariner) is opened, does the watch need to be pressurized for proper water-proofing?
No. Anyone who tells you that Rolexes are pressurized is selling you a bill of goods. The gasket that interacts with the caseback should be examined and replaced if necessary. We (watchmakers) don’t generally torque the caseback to any certain spec, but rather screw it down snugly. Hope this helps.

One of Rolex’s best

6 years ?! You could have bought it cheaper at grey 6 years ago
no way the batman is way better

I do like the blue and black bezel more. Looks simpler and more elegant. 🔵⚫️
The blue on the modern Pepsi just isn’t as blue as I’d like. The blue on the Batman/Batgirl is better imo
I also prefer the blue on the Batman, but I like the way the darker blue works with the red on the Pepsi.
Such a classic color way. I hope they don't discontinue it.
Hopefully not. The blro forms so much of the GMT DNA.
It’s a beauty, no doubt!
It sure is!
Which bezel mk version is this? Amazing Review. Thanks

Tired of hearing about the Rolex Pepsi. I wish you Rolex reviewers could talk about some other models once in awhile.
