I've played so much BF, but BF1 is still my favorite. It's the simplicity of it. No lock on weapons, no silly gadgets, or operators, just aim and shoot. The graphics are still top notch, the sound effects too. Just love this game. I remember the coolest thing I've managed to do in a BF game happened on Sinai. I was in a tank tossing shells at the stone bridge that leads up on to mountain between A and B. Just as I did enough damage to break the bridge (it takes awhile, but you can do it), an enemy tank was driving under it. I destroyed the tank with the falling rubble. What other series can you do anything remotely close to that?
It is by far the best game, remember years ago on fao fortress there was a sniper in the tower at F and he was pinning me down at B i managed to hit him for 94HP with my martini Henry and then he hit me for like 98 so i just decided to pull out my bodeo revolver and shoot at him from the hip knowing i was dead... some how one of the bullets headshotted him. so funny
