Battlefield 5 was an unfinished gem. Absolute shame they didn't keep supporting the game with new content, like D-Day for example. Could have been an incredible breakthrough map
Probably because all the hate people gave it without even giving it a chance or play it. But thats all BFs they all get hate and later on people notice how good it was .
The movement in BFV is absolutely fantastic I agree, but the sound design is in my opinion one of the best ever: Taking cover behind sand bags, you can hear the bullets impact them, you can hear bullets ricochet off of metallic surfaces or hit the ground near you with a dull "thump". I started playing BFV when it came out and haven't stopped since

Yeah, they shoulsve added an entire Eastern front and then added Japanese vs British in East Asia. Not to mention some of the other battles and more they couldve drawn upon for design and inspiration
If they added Stalingrad or Berlin, it would be Rotterdam times 100..I was really looking forward to that, but they pulled the plug. If they wanted inclusivity, they could have added characters correlating to their roles, like a female Soviet scout referencing the Soviet Female snipers, or some in the resistance if in Western Front and others. Or guerrillas in the Pacific even
BFV had the most fun movement system in any shooter I’ve ever played except maybe Titanfall. The crouch sprinting, diving, rolling to mitigate fall damage, prone movement, leaping up to grab high ledges, grabbing ledges while falling. It was so fun and satisfying
Battlefield 5's battle Royale 'firestorm' is the best battle Royale to be released to date. Without a doubt. Bugs and all. Insane graphics, movement, physics, map destruction, vehicles, attention to detail, etc. It was incredible when the lobbies were still full. Hell let loose will do though 💯
Second best after Battlefield 1's for me. Especially when a bunch of songs in Battlefield V are actually rehashes from it, including some of the greatest hits.

@@hugoboss917statistically there were more female combatants in WW2 than there were, per capita, experimental weaponry being produced during WW1 (the weapons that make up a substantial percentage of BF1’s weapon selection), so I guess BF1 was just inclusive to anachronism and a lack of realism 😔
BFV dedicated player here and this game was mainly criticised because of a bad trailer and the involvement of females in WW2. It also had a buggy release (like all battlefields) and a bad campaign, which battlefield selling point isn’t supposed to be its campaign. The game is flawless, its actioned pack and everything to do with the game is free even with the micro transactions because you can go through a lengthy grind of weekly challenges and get BP (I think it also goes over towards BF2042 but it might’ve been patched I don’t know). I do 100% agree the movement is insane and to go on with the sliding it can be very powerful for any skilful player. If you see someone sliding everywhere then expect them to have maxed out FOV and most likely knows every detail movement in the game. Also sliding and jumping is very strong to jump players who are hiding around a wall. The overall animations were well detailed in this game and a lot of people don’t like a lot of things to do with the animations. The only complaint any dedicated BFV has is the rolling animation after landing from a certain height because you’re basically screwed for 1-3 seconds I don’t know the exact time whilst the animation is in act, because it is pretty much a death in front of another player. Also kinda find it funny of those who disliked this game now praise it because of 2042.
BF5 was always my favorite bf game. Once it settled with all the updates and gameplay changes, it was perfect. The gameplay had that perfect balance between focused intensity, to keep things on track and the sandbox, which really allowed you to try some open ended wacky tactics to subvert your enemies. I can't stress enough had sad I was that they didn't prolonge its content 😣
I loved this game but it was let down by the live service. When it was announced I remember thinking it would follow the course of the war with a map added every month or two focusing on a key battle. It didn't materialise like that and seemed to forget the later stages of the war in Europe. A real shame, could have been so much better.
I liked the fortifications. Some maps were so open you needed it. Hope they bring it back. Always love a JackFrags BF video. You know you are in for a good one.
This game is mostly incredible. The movement, gun play, vehicles, sound, graphics are all top notch. As a BF veteran my main issue with this game is the maps. Almost all maps are pretty damn bad in my opinion.
Great game that was plagued by poor management: launch bugs that lasted forever, constant TTK changes based on cooked data, false promises of content, choice to include silly skins that really take you out of the moment.
Been playing it recently as well, me and a couple friends snagged it on sale for $5, same as BF1. Gameplay and guns are great, and the game feels pretty immersive. Only problems we've found are that some maps are just too big so they just become who has the most tanks / planes, which gets boring. The small to medium size maps are a blast though like Provence, Solomon Islands and Operation Underground.
Bf5 is such a beautiful and lovely game!!! Every time I play the newer shooters I find myself coming back to it!!! It’s just something about this game and I don’t even play like the huge game modes I play team death match, but I do want to get into these huge game modes.

I also love how insanely well optimized this game is. Like its not common for a game to look, feel and sound this good while so much is going on, and on mid end PC's you still get good fps.
they put so much effort into this game. the sound design is amazing. the world feels alive and immersive. i just got back into playing it and you can absolutely have a great time, especially when there's no cheaters and people with a somewhat decent IQ. a cool squad makes it perfect. i wish i hadn't played it so extensively in 2019/2020, it feels a bit old now because you know all the maps so well, it could have been way bigger and way _more_ if they hadn't just left it like that ...
I honestly loved everything about bfv , I thought they did a great job immersing the players in the all out war experience that they always went for. It really put you in all the prue chaos situations that we know and love from previous titles and in my opinion being in the ww2 era made it that much sweeter. Even firestorm was an absolute blast to play with your squad. 10/10 in my book but thats cause ive been a battlefield fan ever since bad company or even 1942 days
Like a game that initially had a terrible launch and is now a fun game? I started enjoying this game long after its release and learned to appreciate it, moreover, I like that this game has fast movement.
Completely agree with you here Jack. I wish EA never messed with the TTK so much, and didn't abandon this game. I would have love to have seen the famous big battles of WW2 as well. Not sure what they were thinking for the lifetime of this game TBH. Such good movement, gunplay, sounds, etc.
This game was by far one of the best games ive ever played loved the action the big maps the huge players lobbys , vehicles, planes, the movement and on top of that they got roles u can play like my god this game had everything, i could not hate this game for anything idk why it got alot of hate , and they even had a battle Royale wich was insane
by far,, the best bf game ever,, just for what you mentionned,, the MOVEMENT,, just the capacity to lean over corner, or just lean, CHANGE EVERYTHING, not only that, but the fluidity of the movement make it so much fun
This always happens though... game gets released, its incomplete and so its not received very well. They then spend years fixing it until it becomes a good game. Not long after, they release a new game that's worse than the previous game was on launch and stop all support for that game... Battlefield has suffered with this for a very long time and I don't see it changing any time soon
Always a pleasure to play this, those movement mechanics were pretty damn good! Hope we get them back on the next Battlefield game.

Best Battlefield game, no doubt. Still play every day.
Planes were the best part of this game for me. I miss it
I sucked at flying them lol
Planes are the worst part of this game imo
@@randylahey3891 lmao ikr
Everything feels right to me in that game. It was the first BF I played, so when I jump back from 2042 it fits like an old glove.
movement and gunplay feel so good in this game and firestorm was such a nice mod
I was just thinking yesterday “when is Jack going to play BF5?” This game is super underrated
The sherman with the two barrels was a flamethrower
There no Sherman with two barrels in the game . It's the Churchill British tank that as the flamethrower and need squad points to call in
sunday morning: a coffee and watching Jack playing BFV .. what time to be alive !
To lean manually for consoles hold the right joystick while aiming and use the left joystick to which side u wanna lean
One could argue that BF3 is the best Battlefield, but BFV is my favourite. Thanks Jack. These are the videos I wait for.
Administrative Results did a GREAT video on how BFV could’ve been better recently. It’s a MUST watch!
by far,, the best bf game ever,, just for what you mentionned,, the MOVEMENT,, just the capacity to lean over corner, or just lean, CHANGE EVERYTHING, not only that, but the fluidity of the movement make it so much fun
I have been playing this game nonstop. I am hooked once again
