Looking forward to this option offgrid! We have a timberframe cabin going up this summer and have been desperately trying to find something besides the Dickinson model in LP. If it has or you can purchase a regulator to hook up to a portable LP tank even better! Thanks for chasing this down, it's needed on the market.
This is currently our latest update but we will be running some more tests next month and hope to have an update shortly after that. If you sign up on our gas stove mailing list, you'll be the first to find out! www.tinywoodstove.com/product/dwarf-gas-fireplace-heater/

We've been focusing our efforts on bringing a new composting toilet to market and getting the re-design of our Oven finalized and available so haven't made much progress on the gas stove lately. We hope to be able to dedicate more time to the project later this year. Currently our rough estimate for bringing this to market would be 2025.
We try to avoid square footage ratings on our stoves. You ideally want to look at the volume of your space (HxWxL), the insulation level, and temp rise (outside temps v. Inside temps). A 300-square-foot space in Texas would only need a fraction of the stove that same size space would need in Montana. All that to be said, we're hoping to have our larger version of the gas stove in the 4kW range and the smaller in the 2kW range. You can take a look at our BTU Calculator to get an idea of where you might fall for your space. www.tinywoodstove.com/btu/
We don't do installations but the stove will be easy enough for any DIYer. You can also reach out to local gas/fireplace installers in your area to inquire about their ability to install the stove.
Wonderful news!!! I for one can’t wait!
Great idea.
THis will be AWESOME, looking forward to the product
Really looking forward to this gas fireplace! It may be a few months late for us though as we need something for this coming winter season.
We're working on it to get it ready to sell ASAP!
Love to have 1 in my skoolie
I would definitely buy one. Thermostat is key!

That is a cool idea. I can see an opportunity to use one of those.
Looks great!
Awesome.
Can you mount it lower like a fireplace, and add a surround and mantle? also could you cook on the top of it?
Depends on the exact design but it shouldn't be an issue. The top does get warm enough to veeery slowly heat some water, but not really for cooking. 🔥
Was wondering if there's any update on this? Looks great.

Looks great, a rough ETA?

We are super interested in this and have been following the company for awhile. Any idea how hot it gets on the outside?
It does get hot on the outside, about 200 degrees!
Input BTUs....approximately? I assume you don't know output btus yet?
We're expecting a heating range between 10,000-15,000 BTU/h 🔥
What’s the square footage this little guy covers?
