hello, my problem is that i cannot get the black screws off from the axle flaps, they are about to fully ruined, any ideas how to get them off without destroying the axles?
Correct it is not a seal, i had no problem setting the idle on the carb. if you do experience air leaks you can insert the outside of the beating with a little silicone or epoxy. Against the shaft you can put a small O-ring. Keeping in mind a Weber DCD has no seal at all.
It should, must of the later carbs was designed to provide healthier emissions, and didn't actually use less gasoline, what engine does your Hilux have in?
Where can one get these bearings? I have a leak on the primary - will the bearing also seal?
Is the bearing size 8x12x3.5mm? When i measure my seals they come out to 8*11*3mm.

if you know what you are doing you can drill it out
@carburettorrebuildservice8964 yea i was thinking that but im not sure
Neat video, but why, a bearing is not a seal. Won't you throw the vacuum calibration off a bit?

U can get sealed bearings for your throttle shaft no air leaks

I have a Toyota hilux1990 bakkie. Will a Weber carborator make it lighter on fuel? If that's the case where can I get one?
