@@volkvoort Ive recently tried it together with a squadmate in the Strike Eagle, cuz we were out of everything except a few LJDAMS. In Theory it should work :)

No, unfortunately not. But there were some very close misses. We did 3 or 4 tries, as the whole ordeal was not planned. Its just a matter of hitting the right height above the other plane, with the right speed(-difference) and timing. there was much giggling involved, so might be important too @@volkvoort
Oh, this is the skin I made :D I've been following your videos for a long time, and I made my first Kamov livrery a few weeks ago, it's nice to see you flying with it :D Very impressive formation! I doesn' think it was possible :D
Because I made sure the rotors are more level (less coned) on that side, then slooowly and very smoothly inched closer so that my lower blade was just above the AI's lower rotor blade, and my upper rotors just above his, thus overlapping. Smallest mistake (which happens just after the video ends) and it becomes a fiery crash.
@@volkvoort Yup that's true.. by the way, I saw before on YT a SU-25 fire two of these 25ML with a short delay, the 1st went pop up mode, but the 2nd flow direct mode, I think the range that's what makes the missile's AP kick pop-up mode in the first case.
@@volkvoort I think the pop up mode just for do not screen the self-lase by the thick exhaust smoke, but @ close range the pop up not allow this huge missile to manoeuvre bcuz the phenomenal boost phase, & the laser spot become outside of the sensor field of regard that the 25ML cannot track.
Oof. I'm imagining the wake turbulence/additional induced flow alone already cause issues. Was it an aerobatic display taken a little too far or training/field mishap?
@volkvoort It was taxiing to parking. They stopped side by side and one rotor was inches above the other. He caught it quickly enough and told the pilots to shut down without moving the controls at all. It was pretty wild.
@@blackhatch46 damn. Different airframes, significant wind or did one have more collective applied? I'd have figured they'd be be same height for same airframe otherwise?

That has to be the stupidest, most insane, batshit crazy thing I’ve ever seen. And it’s insanely impressive😂
and probably fake.
You are absolutely right…The deadliest formation for the pilots 🚁
I can neither confirm nor deny that everything was balled up 1 frame later than the end of the video.
lmfao I am simultaneously impressed and shook at the same time
Almost there - just put "Impressed" and "shook" in allcaps and you'll have the right vibe ;-)
My left ear liked the video.
lol
Thats almost as credible as bombing flying transport planes.
*Furiously takes notes for next video*

@@BigBorner lol. Did you hit? In *theory* it should, provided your laser stays squarely on it and the bomb has enough time to track it smoothly...

Thanks. Really nice going on that livery! I've been waiting for this specific one to be redone for BS3. ;-)
@@volkvoort Same, I was waiting for it too. But as it was slow in coming, I started to make it myself :p

How come they're both not plummeting to Earth in a rotor spitting firey crash?

I can't keep myself from imagine this Shark's section buddy-lase those bad boyz 25ML sequencing with different laser code.. total carnage 🌪

@volkvoort Same airframe. I am guessing the uneven flightline had a lot to do with it. That and collective used at the time.

I wish the shark could carry the 25ML with the Vikhrs... Would be even more deadly.
