Thanks. FLIR camera existed but only on like 1-2 prototypes (including the glass cockpit version), but not the production model. Well, deemed-working FLIR cameras at least. There were various low-light versions tested.
100%. I usually like to do that as well, night mode and dim it right down along with the ABRIS and a few other lights when doing a mission. The footage here I often had it spawn in almost-ready and then just flipped the switches I needed to for launch, rather than fix everything for a full mission.

Sir, I always dim my HUD to the lowest level still comfortably readable while flying at night. It helps tremendously.
