Thanks! I tried to be neutral about the whole Perryshmirtz thing. I didn't even bring it up. This video isn't an argument for or against it. I mean, I don't ship them but I don't care if people do. (And I mean, the Dwampyverse is a universe were Doof's girlfriend left him for a whale, Miss Murawski is in love with her desk, Scott is in love with a milk carton and Bradley fell in love with a ice cream machine...)

Something I should mention is that Doofenshmirtz doesn’t recognize Perry without his hat on just because he’s an idiot. This is shown in Agent Intee Diogee where he doesn’t recognize Diogee without his hat on.
Yes, that is the joke, but even then, when you look at any other teal platapus in the show they all look alike. So it makes sense for Doof to not be able to recognize him. But at the same time, in the episode Agee Ientee Diogee, he says that he recognizes Diogee then ends up coming to the conclusion that he recognizes him because he's been at the Murphy's house for a month. I wouldn't say he's not able to recognize Perry because he's an idiot, I'd say he has a lot of trouble recognizing the faces of animals.
Which I can kinda relate to that. If I don't see someone on a daily bases, if they change their hair, I'm not going to be able to recognize them anymore

We need a 3rd season of milo murphy's law so we can find out what happened to Abomination/Cavenpuss like- is he going to be a recurring character? like- i really want to see how they are going to use him in the story-
A part of me wants him to join O.W.C.A. or for him to somehow be famous. But he would be mainly in the background. And Cavendish would be so bewildered at Cavenpus's success.
But I really thought Cavenpus would "sacrifice" himself in the finale so that they wouldn't have to worry about what to do with him if they get another season. I feel like he'll just leave and do his own thing
Cartoon conspiracy theory: All of Danville was hit with a beam of extremely focused ultraviolet light and radiation, thus discolouring all of Danville’s platypuses to teal and also possibly creating Murphy’s law and/or the Phineas and Ferb effect. It mightve been any of the aliens seen in the show, from Meap to Octalions to Feebla-Ootians to the aliens that give Hamster and Gretel their powers.

The reason why Perry was teal might be because he is glowing, but that usually happens when they are in a dark room so Perry might be a really rare type platypus. But who knows maybe the writers just wanted a teal platypus or something like that.

I guess I just assumed as a kid that teal platypi were a domesticated branch of the normal platypus species, much like how we domesticated dogs from wolves (or wolf ancestors, same difference). We have "blue" dogs and cats, even if its not a true blue color and more of a gray, and if the strain of platypus that Perry belongs to is domestic, they probably bred the venom out of the line a long time ago. Them retaining teeth could also be a trait of domestication, as it would allow them to digest their food better, along with naturally longer lifespans (though that could be OWCA meddling with genetics). I don't know what would make people domesticate platypi, but I'd imagine it'd be like working dogs, helping to dig up fish and other things from the lake bed or sea floor, such as pearls; conversely, they might have initially been used as pest control to keep worms and insects out of grain, much like cats.
I personally subscribe to the "perry is trans" theory because it makes my brother happy and just makes the most sense if we try to contextualize what we're shown, but platypi are already so goddamn weird, parthenogenisis might as well happen.
K so true story. I walked into this video cause the content looked very interesting. I watched it, and I loved it. Usually after I watch someone's video, I leave, and if I get another recommendation from the person again, I'd watch it and consider subbing then, but this time was different.
See, after I watched it, I was under the impression that you were a bigger UA-camr (due to the shear amount of quality in the animation), and I hadn't saw the view count, sub count, or like / dislike count at that moment. When the page back to UA-cam was loading, I scrolled down, curious to see just how many subs you had.
My reaction: *What?! There's no f**king way they only have 600*
I made sure to sub right after that.
Look, I'm a guy with only 100, trying my best to get good content out there. Sure I don't have much, but it's hard. I get really confused and pissed whenever I see people like you, making some amazing content, but to be left with only a couple hundred subscribers. I wish for the absolute greatest of luck in the future, and I hope very much to see you get big.

About the cloning thing, aren't platypuses sort of like the in between of reptiles and mammals couldn't teal platypuses still keep the trait of cloning while the brown platypuse didn't. Maybe the teal platypuses had more predators and it was harder for them to find a mate so clong was easier and their population would still be under control.

This video got something right that P&F and MML never checked! The plural of platypus is platypuses, NOT platypi.
In the Episode Agent Diogee , Doof also doesn't recognize Diogii without the Hat sooo........
I thought about talking about that but Doof does say that Diogee looked familiar and that's what made him recall the story. Even if in his story he doesn't recognize Diogee without the hat, that was the first time they met so it makes sense. And even if he comes to the conclusion that it was a different dog, he still sort of recognized him after a very long time. With Perry, he sees him all the time, but he still can't recognize him without the hat.

My conclusion is that there are no male teal platypuses since they reproduce on their own. Because he can lay eggs, that technically means he's a female, but I don't really see him as trans, I see him as genderless. It doesn't really matter what gender he is, he's just Perry, the perfect pet.

btw, platypuses have a really weird genetic for a mammal, males don't have SRY gene, which is basically the gene that lead an embryo to become a male (or a female if it doesn't have an SRY gene) in almost all mammals species. (exeptions are marsupials (kinda) and monotremes (to which platypuses belong)). Instead of that, they have 10 sexual chromosomes (XXXXXXXXXX for females and XYXYXYXYXY for males)
so honestly idk if it's the best or the worst mammal to use to create a specie that use parthenogenesis, but it's either one or the other, no in between X)
