- 💭 The full process of changing the Haberno Orange Peeled Magnum to a Nardo Grey Magnum. Long difficult process but worth it. Painting is hard.

So much to learn, but satisfied!
Am ln no way, an expert. "But I did stay @ a (Holiday Inn) last night! Lol No really, worked in a major manufacturing paint dept. And I'm proud of your progress from the 48 to this. Not to mention your thirst for advancing your personal knowledge of what you're trying to achieve! Great Job young man !
BTW you're gonna need exhaust & intake fans in your booth. Cuts down on the overspray, just turn one of your fans around. Good Luck !!!👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
Hey, a Holiday Inn can be some good sleep. 😂 I appreciate it!
Love how you actually REPAIR the parts and not just replace them. Really great job brother!
Your paint work is improving with each project. All any of us can do is keep learning and improving. Nice work!
You've gotten better, man! You've come a long way in the learning process, technique, and quality!👍🏾 ALL DAY! My wife and I are watching, and she said, "I'd but that bike!" And I replied, "For me?" Her response was nothing but a laugh! We'll swap teachings to each other, your painting, my powder coating!
We all have to start somewhere, Good job👌
That's alright, keep at it!
Any progress is growth!
From those drippyass spray cans to this set up? ma boi you are flying high! Awesome!
Your comment about pouring with lid at the top is good. I think you can use the two loops on the can lid to pull the spout out, that might make it easier. Nice job.
Watching you do this... PAINTING IS HARD! Good on you for recording and publishing you learning. THAT is bravery. lol. I have OCD and it would have to be PERFECT. I would probably go insane and quit at some point. Good on you for seeing it through to the end. It's been great watching you learn. YOU THE MAN!
A little Picasso in the Bicasso…!!
Yo.. I love the booth….
Hey man, keep up the great work ! Watching you learn is teaching us how to not be afraid and go for it. Life lesson 101….
Super impressed.
Dont be hard on yourself, you did a beautiful job,,,,,you are real and transparent and thats why i sub to your channel
I appreciate that 🙏🏾
Hi Brandon, you're a hard worker, it looks good.
You never seethe to amaze me. Good Job B...
Alright, I'm bringing my bike down for some painting! Lets go!
Naaah, nope. 😂
GOOD JOB MATE
Solid work, Bradda!
Salute
🫡
Brilliant job
I remember I messaged you on instagram about the magnum and you said to be patient and you will be surprised how well it has turned out, you haven't disappointed one bit. Keep up the great work Brandon.
As a solo dude figuring this stuff out as he goes, just takes time. There’s a huge barrier to entry with getting me to paint something. More so because of the prep and time it takes to fix problems. Genuinely pleased with how it turned out. I’m slow on stuff like this. 🥲
Brandon just diving in and taking this on like a moto first responder! From a job like this id RUN! 🏃♂️ 💨
Oh I wanted to run. This was an enormous job for me. 😬
@@BrandonBicasso you rock Brothah!
Looks good bro good job 👏
I love watching your videos Brandon. I’m no expert, but you really should watch some UA-cam tutorials on spraying. Your single direction strokes in the earlier part of your video suggest that you aren’t getting the paint on wet and even enough. Back and forth in both directions allows the paint to flow on better. Anyway, we are all learning and you are teaching us all so much. Keep it up! 👍
I’ll work on it for next time. I did the single strokes because of the shape of some of the parts. It was easier for me to just start that line over instead of trying to back stroke at angles I was gonna mess up. 😬
Looks great. My only advice to you would be to get some googles to wear when you spray in your booth. You've got the respirator for your lungs, but those particles get in your eyes even if you don't feel it. Gotta keep those eyes working well for riding and for future paint jobs.
True! I’ll probably upgrade to a full mask set up. The clear coat was strong.
Bro went from rattle can to this. You start two toning and pin striping and people are gonna call you Brandon Picasso lol. Corny jokes aside, that does look really good. Also far better than what some people charge for painting these days.
Haha, I appreciate it! If I can just get my clear coat down, I’d be golden. I think once I get a better compressor, it will lay more like glass the first time. 🫰🏾
Man, I love the smell of clear coat!!! Id be high AF!
Lol! Huffin' glass
Protect your eyes in the booth, too. ✌️
I hear ya, Noted. 🤙🏾
Hey man! While you are painting, there is a Harley Sportster wanting some love, after your first attempt. ;)
My first attempt was perfect from the spray can. 🌚
Hi not a expert but. I feel your strokes while spraying are too short try spraying a little before the item and keep going over the end of the item being sprayed.
Keep up the good work 😎👍🏻
Hey! By going over the end, do you mean multiple passes? Appreciate the advice!
@BrandonBicasso Hi, no, extend the spray . Start spraying before the start of the item you are spraying, and then go beyond the end of the item.
Doing this, it should give more even coverage and take away the chance of drying over spay. Also, I know space is difficult, but if you could give yourself room to move around the item, you are spraying, giving you the ability to spray longer more even spray and cover more. It may take you longer as you will have fewer items in your paint booth, but I believe the finish would make this worthwhile.
The paint booth is a great idea.
I know this is easy to say but try not to worry about how much paint or clear coat you are using.
You will never get the finish you desire by thinking I must get five items or six out of a ltr tin. Great work all the best with the project 👍🏻
@@BrandonBicasso i think what he is talking about is you should start your spay....say a foot before and a foot after what you are spraying.
Why aren't you wearing eye protection?
Didn’t think it was necessary
@@BrandonBicasso Gotta learn somehow, right? ;)
Personally...I would have bought new or used saddlebag.
When I cracked up my Victory, I tried doing the same but went to Ebay bought used components.
Yeah, we couldn't find the Haberno color and we're on a super tight budget. Even with all the work, still only saved like $500 compared to buying some used saddle bags. But hey.. parts are limited for these bikes so hopefully those bags out there will benefit someone else.
🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Doing great,
