Definitely think you’re a great mechanic given the customer what they want from what I see going into detail making sure what you do is perfect to your craft. Keep up the good work and I will keep on watching. You always show someone that you can learn just by watching someone else.
Great job pimpin, I really enjoyed this video. But buddy really needs to seriously overhaul the stereo system, he gone burn your work down. Don't need 10 speakers, 6x9 in the lids, 6.5 up front, and one amp, a Hertz setup, maybe 8's or 10's in bags all you need running on 1 amp. Keep it coming brah
That loose front end feel was common in the early days of running a 21" wheel. The best fix was to lower the forks 1 to 2 inches. Progressive shock company makes a fork kit that's super easy to install.
Yeah great job bro you definitely got some skill man I got the VTX 1800 purple rain I just spent the day redoing my stretched bags because I didn't line them up that good the first time but I got them on they look awesome I got my USB wired in there oil change front and back pads change my drive shaft fluid out and I want that 21 inch front tire bro I know the other guy I watched him do his he used a victory wheel is that what you used or is that a Harley wheel up and they look the same or is a victory of Harley I want all them specs and prices if you would that's my next project putting that 21 on oh yeah that's right I got to figure out how to get the descriptions
That seemed like a lot of work. Nice job. I do have one other question. I have to remove my rear wheel for my ‘22 CDH. I’m upgrading my rotor. Do you have any suggestions or things to watch out for. Thanks ahead for any input. 👍🏽
Question about fork seals. I’ve had my scout bobber for about a year with roughly 5k miles put on it. I got home today and there is a black ring around my fork and oil running down the side I wiped it all off, took the dust cover off and ran a plastic card around the seal. I compressed it a bunch and it doesn’t seem like there is any oil on the fork now. Should I think about replacing my fork seals or was it just some dirt?
You’d only know by taking the fork cap off and taking a peek. If you caught the leak in time, could’ve gotten lucky and got the debris out before it became a bigger problem.
@ Honestly with all the issues I’ve had with my scout since buying it I’m kinda starting to regret it. With the wire harness needing replaced at 500miles and the engine leaking oil around those weep holes and now the fork seals starting to go around 5k miles. It’s just kinda frustrating.
Geez. That’s awful. Most of that would be covered under warranty. Shouldn’t have to deal with it but that’s why you have it. Understand the frustrations tho.
I just paid almost $900 for new tires for my 22 Chief Bobber. What are your thoughts on sealing the rim to cancel the inner tube? Would you do it to your bobber?
😅 nah.. if the tire/wheel had anything to do with it, it’s because the suspension is raised more in the front causing wind turbulence. I wouldn’t know without taking the front end apart and checking the bearings. The best way I can describe the issue is like loose steering or oversteer in a car. Typically that happens with bearings or the adjustment of them. With this bike having a lot of added weight and geometry issues, changing out that wheel shouldn’t immediately cause a wobble like that. Besides the wobble at higher speeds, it’s stable. Rides soft in the front, stiff in the rear. As for him knowing, he maybe had the bike a few weeks before bringing it to me. No knowledge on the history of anything with it, unfortunately. I don’t think he got it up to high way speed to experience that happening, but he’s a new rider also.
Agreed, or.... A set-screw, with orange loctite , ( aka Permatex orange), that way , no bolt head, and unlike red loctite, it's removable, but with way more effort than the Blue stuff.
Maybe you should weld that hole closed on the brake caliper to avoid friction stress failure between the drill holes, especially in the front wheel. ✌️ Just a suggestion from a Top Secret Co barstool engineer, not the casting couch. But still, I was told No Teaching.
24years in audio. And today is the first time I seen someone twist the wire with a pair of pliers And that’s what happens when you mess with trailing angles n such My 2011 vaquero came with a 21” wheel It lasted less than a week. Changed it for a oEm wheel
Yeah, I’m not going full grip on the pliers. It’s more so to guide the wires in a twist so the jaws are barely putting pressure on them. I’d snap the wires if I gripped too tight. Not ideal but it gives them a solid twist.
I just never got why I would ever need a speaker system on my bike... can someone explain? I don't even play music in the BT of my helmet. I just listen to the bike and nature
Depends. I like music same as I listen to music in my car. Or while I work occasionally. Adds to the vibe. I also ride without music so for me, depends on how I feel. Speaker systems for some are for show as it is their entertainment.

@@BrandonBicasso So, it's for show, I respect that, although I would rather let my engine do the talking. Cheers from Sweden
This is driving my anxiety through the roof!!!! All that ass and can’t even get it wet! None odd the system is weather proof and all that after market will NEVER seal correctly!
I had a Virago that I made to look like a light-weight Heritage. Reason, just because I could.... lol. My current Yamaha looks more like an HD 1200 Sporty. I get lots of folks saying nice HD, then I have tell them what it really is. I guess it's the V-twin, dual shocks, Belt-drive and sound, and the Mohawk windscreen that throws them off.... and the saddle bags.
Hi Brandon, watching your growth is wonderful you are not scared. 😊
Good job Mr Bicasso! Congratulations!

Good job Brandon! You got it done and all your new/old learned skills were showcased in this one project. You passed the final exam. LOL
We want to hear Woddo child on this Beast.Good stuff dude
I got Shinko 999s on my rebel1100. Surprisingly good tire for the price.
Brother it do look good, I have a VTX also made up like that to. 6x9 amp and LED lights.
I must say I am impressed. You've come a long way bro! Good stuff!
I can dig it man. Ride your ride!

I thought the raised front end could’ve contributed to some wind turbulence also. It’s not a fun ride. I’ll run it by the owner. 🤙🏾
I have a 2006 Vtx and now I have 2012 Street Glide.

Great Vid Brandon. Question is, What did you use to base-seal the spokes at the rim, so that you could run tubeless ???? Thanks.
Stay Safe.
Hey, the wheel was sealed when bought. Check it out here. 21X3.5 Spoke Dual Disc Front Wheel: amzn.to/4eVPnbQ
Try putting those wheel bearings in the freezer for several hours. It’s amazing how much less effort you need to get them in when they’re that cold
I haven’t seen much of a difference tbh. ua-cam.com/video/qkDVyouuf0E/v-deo.html/&t=18m21s

Dang!!! Sooo did he say the wobble was there before?

I have a Honda Shadow and hate the tube wheels. Can this be done for my bike?
Yep.
@BrandonBicasso Awesome. What if i want 4o go with a smaller size rim?
Long as it mounts up. May have to alter some things.
That wiring had my OCD in hyper mode. Wow....
All you have to do now is to get someone to sign write on the tank "Hardly Davidson"
😂😂😂😂
Just add a bolt to that hole you tapped to plug it.
Agreed, or.... A set-screw, with orange loctite , ( aka Permatex orange), that way , no bolt head, and unlike red loctite, it's removable, but with way more effort than the Blue stuff.

Amazon resell so I’m not sure. It’s in the description of the vid.
This VTX has since been painted green 😅 Sidenote: didn't paint the lids. Last minute change.

Larger regulator and stator.
Agreed Tax, Running the Amp is going to need more juice, not a bigger Battery
Looks nice. He needs a regulator upgrade for all that audio.

Don't get sued by Honda or Harley!!! lol
