I am starting with a tank of 1.5 feet. Decoration I did with plastic plants,plastic grass bottom and natural big stones . I have added one sponge filter too. Kept them running and settle for few days so that beneficial bacteria can form . So please suggest which fish will be good for me considering my tank is open from top and have a sponge filter. Personally I like the neon tetra. Can I start with neon ? or suggest some other please.
Sanjay Thank you for your valuable comment 🙂 coming to your question for a beginners you can start with tetras my suggestion will be red eye tetra neon tetra rainbow tetra and widow tetra or you can either go with blue gouramis with some mollys 🙂 i hope you get it 🙏🏻Thank you

It's like a power filter only but average size. it keeps water moving all the time and creates lots of bubbles with little force. I t has a chamber in bottom which has a sponge to filter the dirt. So can I still go with your above suggested fishes? please suggest
Sanjay if you have a powerhead filter in your aquarium then the flow rate will be higher as your aquarium is small i think you should go for a top filter with low flow rate or you can use HOB filter i hope this satisties your question 🙌🏻🙂

Okay so I wanna clear some things I have been keeping fishes for 13 years and wanna say neon tetras are not at all a beginner fish they do well in large schools and prefer planted aquariums and you can keep neons they will survive but will not be happy and u need proper experience to keep them with perfection so they r not a Beginner fish, second gold fish ,it's world's most commonly kept fish but is also the most abused and mistreated fishes people think it's easy to keep them and they don't require proper arrangements and care upto perfection , people keep them in bowls and stuff they think it's a Beginner fish but it's not....stop buying gold fishes of u r a Beginner that's why yall loose your gold fishes within one or few months .... otherwise I agree with all other species told in the video !
