Love how Delta just closed her eyes and doing deep breathing when Trixie was talking about perfume and body makeup. Just such a moment of “finally… someone who understands me…”🤣🤣🤣🤣
English is not my first language, so from time to time I watch something that makes me go like “i learned English just to be able to understand this video, thank you god.” This was one of these videos.
I love what trixie said about the sex positivity going both ways and being a little prudish! I’ve always struggled w feeling lame for taking a bit so it’s nice to hear her mention it
Two petite, young, hollywood bombshells clocking in for their daily chat at the local talkshow spreading the message of Christianity through their biblical means
it was so gratifying hearing them being fed up with this new wave of bigotry and fair weather "allyship". I'm the same age as trixie and so I was young adult at what felt like a new height for LGBTQ acceptance and visibility and I feel like we've had these discussions and educating people and we've done this song and dance of trying to meet bigots on their terms and look where it's gotten us? At this point you accept all of us for who we are, and not just the LGB but especially the TQ as well or you can fuck off.
I love that more and more people starting to explicitly express how tired they truly are. The time for this "let's have a civil conversation where you shit on my human rights and I have to be understanding" is over. Contrapoints made a great video about this (The Witch Trials of J.K. Rowling), I highly recommend watching it.
Exactly! They also think that their bigotted beliefs are valid and that they can just spit them out whenever they want because it's "religious freedom". But don't you dare say you're or LGBTQ or atheist or whatever - because that's "insensitive" to them. Yeah, I do not think so. I'll tell them what they are - trash - and I don't care about their precious feelings anymore.
Honestly, Delta miming her vending machine and wiping-condensation-on the-side-of-a-glass-whist-eating-at--a-restaurant processes is fiercer than anything on the last 8 seasons of drag race
@yeojin It's not funny: it's infuriating & disgusting & wrong! It took nearly a year for the show to be made available in Australia & because it's on a Murdoch-owned platform, it can be screwed with like this? I'm now not the slightest bit sorry I pirated the show months ago. Fuck Rupert & all his homophobic friends🖕🏻
this queen miss delta is a true talent. i could see her doing pov asmr improving everything. the way her mind moves so fast and how she works with her hands, she really brings us to wherever she is in her mind.
Ok kids, if you talk that talk be prepared to walk that walk. Unfortunately it seems we must start doing our history homework and revisit the early 80s, you know the Paleolithic era. Question; how long did it take big pharma to develop 3 covid vaccines, less than a year? Here’s the thing, how long did it take PrEP to be developed & approved… *THIRTY years?* Anyone notice a slight disparity here…? As someone who was at the tender age of whatever and there at the front lines when HIV emerged in the early 80’s all I can say is *history tends to repeat itself.* Not sure if Rue or Lady Bunny went to the “Marches on Washington(?)” I know they were circuit queens, I’d see them at BoyBar, The Palladium, The Anvil, etc. WE carried the torch during a time when every month *another friend would die.* It’s becoming time to stop being complacent, pickup the mantle and continue the journey. Not consuming “hate chicken” is a start but when our human rights are threatened *be prepared to die on that hill* (figuratively.) We *ARE* running out of time, start writing letters to local politicians & congressmen. If you are close enough to DC begin organizing busses to Washington to rally; are there even any “gay youth groups (18-24 yos)” still around? Does the group “Radical Faeries” still exist? Stop accepting breadcrumbs… *WE WANT THE BAKERY.* “ACTUP’s” vitriol expressed in their slogan; *“SILENCE = DEATH” is as true now as it was in the dark past.* _Thank you Delta and Trixie and everyone who talks the talk AND walks the walk. ❤_
Delta, you would be amazing doing a Sense Memory exercise in an acting class. Your hotel receptionist and you imagining using a vending machine are spot on! ❤
For some reason when I hear Delta speak and watching the elegant hand movements it makes me feel Very at home and I love and appreciate you Delta!! Keep doing what you do doll!! Love Ya!!
I clocked it 💯%... And Delta is allowed to be shady, or comment however she feels, about that. I’ve been in similar situations, and it’s true that you don’t want to seem bitter or unprofessional, so a little comment, like "Oh, I worked with them before" lets the people know how we really feel. Possibly forgiven, def not forgotten…😜
This was such a fabulous episode! I absolutely loved the conversation about Target pride, so well spoken and intellectual. Thank you both so much for using your platform and speaking up the way you are
What I loooove about this is both of them are talking about everything so naturally and so easily to relate - I would listen to them talking every day 😊😊
I follow everything Trixie and now everything very Delta. I also never speak out of turn but I feel obligated to comment on Trixie having glued that wig so close to her eyebrows that it's just making me continuously laugh and giggle to myself... Its giving me life and also killing me slowly 😂🎉
YESSSSSS I 100% agree pride does not need to be in one of the hottest most humid months of the year, during the time of day that the sun is just pointed directly at u no matter where u stand😂
Trixie: 'Are you wearing ten pounds of makeup on one eyelid like me...?' Delta: 'As a kid I was never trying to be in drag...other than, you know, putting a towel on my head and pretending I was Diana Ross'.🤣🤣🤣
this is my first episode and really first exposure to delta, but that first segment on talking with your hands and the emotions behind it and reminiscing on the women in your life was SO beautiful, especially with her gorgeous voice! immediate favorite
I always feel like a part of something special whenever Trixie mentions the Hamburg concert… experiencing that together as audience and performer is a memory for life 😂❤
So many good points made. 1. Sometimes you just need to complain about something, and it's good to have a friend that can match that energy. 2. The performative nature of rainbow washing, when they don't care about us at all is *beyond* over with. Stand with us or leave us alone. I love that Trixie got to fangirl over Delta. I know that love is genuine.
@ 54:16 (the chick filet letter) in 2017 I was a supervisor of a department in corporate America and the recruiter for our company came by for a meeting and when she did, she thought it would be nice to bring Chick Filet for the entire department…i had her place the hate chicken in a conference room, then I picked the bags of food up and placed them in a non-visible cabinet, so that people could get he free food but I didn’t want it just sitting out there on display and making our valued LGBTQIA+ and Allied employees upset. I didn’t want to waste food that’s why I still let people eat it from that cabinet and calmly took the recruiter in my office and asked her to educate herself on certain things before bringing anything into our office, because it can really make people feel left out and offended. She didn’t know about Chick-Filet so I just put this as a teachable moment, no food was wasted, no one was offended or upset, and the recruiter always called me before bringing food to our building from that day forward…… I think I handled it well….thoughts???

The bond between a slim natural blonde woman and her tarot reader... unbreakable
I laughed... and now everytime deltas on I imagine her shuffling cards hahaha
Shut uppp😂😂😭😭

So clever
i love giving these underground queens a spot on the Very Delta program
Just two dainty and hyper-feminine biological women having an insightful conversation.
petite as well
Two Southern Belles spreading Jesus' seed
The hause down boots mahhh mahhh 😄
Introspective, beautiful and beguiled by a bargain of course
about women FOR women
I truly did not want this to end.
I neeeeeeeeeeeeed Trixie as a regular guest
Ditto we need another one of these episodes
You and meeee

This episode gives Just Jack 2000 in the most tasteful way possible
Love how Delta just closed her eyes and doing deep breathing when Trixie was talking about perfume and body makeup. Just such a moment of “finally… someone who understands me…”🤣🤣🤣🤣
I loved that part!!
Trixie took Delta to church with the entire body makeup and body discussion 🤣
them both getting passionate about perfume and body makeup is awfully grounding i love it
My therapy for the week.

If you girlies did Very Delta Live at the Trixie Motel, it would be VERY CORRECT
It would definitely be iconic.
YES
I 2nd this ❤
Which room would they do it from? Or by the pool?
That's not a Very Delta cable access aesthetic though lol.
Delta absolutely has a future in ASMR. That hotel check-in has the girlies SHOOK and tingling
Yes!
The way Delta talked about her aunt and undiagnosed carpal tunnel was funny and equally poignant. What a story teller!
im so hooked! the way she painted the whole scene!
I love what trixie said about the sex positivity going both ways and being a little prudish! I’ve always struggled w feeling lame for taking a bit so it’s nice to hear her mention it
This!
Agreed!
In my head, Delta plays the paino effortlessly
yeah, the paino
Nothing has ever made me happier than seeing Delta find that Trixie has the same views on body makeup and perfume. Lol
Delta needs perfume/candle line immediately.
Would 10000% buy a Delta candle, I trust her judgement
I’d pay to have her curate my scent profile for body and home
I will buy a Delta candle so fast
Honestly! I’m actually looking for new perfume and candles, and nothing catches my eye (or nose in this case). Need Delta to help me! ❤
no like i would 10000% buy anything fragrance related from delta.... hand soap... oil diffusers... wax melts...
i cant wait for them to talk about the weather, candles, or shipping fees, or some shit like that
Fuck yes.
I wish I had guessed soda it feels so obvious now
So nice of MOM and Very Delta to give a young local queen a space to join the conversation. The blonde one seems really nice.
Can someone please put all the clips together of Delta being utterly perplexed by the idea of her guests drinking Pepsi and/or mini sodas?
"Mini??? Mini??" Like she's never heard of or seen one
Does anyone else just live for the go off Delta segment. I love playing it for my mom. Lol
Delta’s little hotel lobby LARP moment gave me so much life. My god.
I love this episode. The conversation in the end about trying to make the world comfortable for straight people was so real.
They both have such a fun yet professional air about them. Like they both know how to conduct an interview
This interview was lovely
CAN WE GET A PT 2???
I know right? 😍🙏🏻
There was so much to discuss. Yes❤
YES PLEASE
@Luca Sam OMG we are not worthy (but pls let this happen lol)

Well ones a clown and the other is a lady

the idea of trixie motel being edited out to not show trixie being gay while in full drag is so funny
