Great thorough review. It looks very flattering on your skin and I like the low/medium coverage and glow. Shade matching looks tricky so I would want to look at it in store once it arrives.
I’m very happy with it, glowy medium coverage is my favourite type at the moment. I’m happy with the colour when I’ve added all other makeup but the shade range needs expanding urgently and their website should recommend shades for this new foundation and not just the old one. I have to buy online so it was very frustrating. I’d love to hear what you think if you pick it up ❤️
This foundation is only available in Europe I think and yeah I’m a latina living in Germany we have a lot of people with even darker skin than mine. I’m number 6 in Armani base products and I can’t find a shade match here. I would love to try it because Armani number 6 is my perfect match. So I really hope that there’s gonna be more shades 😁
Thanks for reviewing and comparing to the luminous silk. I got a small sample bottle and I like it. I am combo/normal (in summer a bit oily), luminous silk shade is 5.5 (a bit dark right now), interestingly enough a 4.5 when shade matched at the store for the reformulated power fabric. I love the Power Fabric as the coverage is extremely stretchable and luminosity can be easily added by a primer and the westman atelier powder. I love love the Koh Gen Do Acqua Foundation as a alternative to Armani, as it is fragrance and alcohol free and just a fabulous finish on me. I do enjoy the Prada Foundation as the golden medium from all of the above. Btw. My sample for the Glow Foundation is 2.75 and a great match right now... When trying at the store, ALL of them run a bit yellow. Hope that helps
I think I’m happy with my shade now, it settles well and the powder definitely gives it the right finish for me. Thank you for sharing the shades info that’s really kind. I haven’t tried Koh Gen. I must look out for it ❤️
The lasting silk was much better than the luminous silk and I am still sad they discontinued it. I guess the new one is really similar to the designer lift they had before. With that one I had the best results with applying it with my fingers instead of a brush or sponge so I think that its the same for this new one.
I am not a fan of applying foundations with my fingers, but haven’t thought of trying this so thank you for the recommendation and I will definitely give this a go. Will you be trying it? ❤
@@hanbeauty101 I definitely will get this one as it is tough for me to find other foundations that are light enough and work for me from other brands. With the luminous silk I have the same problem as you with the texture and as I liked the Designer lift the new one might be really up my alley. Normally I prefer a brush or sponge as well but I am also fine to do it with my fingers as it saves product and also it is nice not to worry about dirty brushes or sponges while traveling. 😄

Excellent review. This has also saved me a lot of money. I prefer fuller coverage satin foundations, and this isn't anywhere near full enough, and the fact the sponge moves the product around suggests that the foundation will break up pretty fast on me.
Hi! Thank you for featuring this new Armani foundation. In spite of the application and shade issues, you succeeded in creating adequate coverage that lasted a full day - though I think it’s more of an endorsement of your skill rather than of the foundation itself. I have always found Armani’s foundations to run too warm for my cool skin tone, and I was hoping that this new iteration would include some cool tones. Thanks again!
So glad it was helpful to you. This reminds me a bit of the glowy skin tints that were so popular last year. So if that is something you don’t enjoy you will definitely not enjoy this I think.
