I hope you find fulfilment and limit the lonely feelings. Just as women often complain about being treated different in different life stages, the same afflicts men (and those who present as men) over time too. Having the supportive community you do is a big help, it's nice to hear amid these times when minorities in the LGBT community are often made out to have tensions between them.

I truly hope you have found your way out of that place. I have struggled with depression my entire life and it has it's ups and downs, but i can say it always passes no matter how dark it gets. Much love from across the pond.

Women, "What's it like being a man? Must be easy."
    Men, "It's like nothing."
    Women, "What do you mean?"
Men, "Nobody cares, nobody helps us do anything, nobody is interested in anything we do or say, nobody buys us drinks. If you don't earn your life it's like nothing."

I'm a trans man about to turn 17 and figured my gender at 14
Finding out I was trans so young changed my life, in good and bad ways. It was obvious since I was a kid, i loved having a little mustache and being one of the boys and eveey stereotype you can imagine. When I was a kid, I was bullied for presenting masculine, and as a preeten, I forced myself to be extremely feminine and became depressive ar 13 yo. I would write about not fitting in and suicidal thoughts because I felt different. I felt wrong. I felt so, so alone. My parents aren't supportive, we had our ups and downs but they are... Trying, I guess. And as for friends, most of my guy friends at school respect me and treat me as one of them, but I'm still so fucking paranoid. With my height, voice, body and my queerness as well. One thing that makes me sad as a transman is that we have such an unique and particular experience in life that even when you have friends you feel lonely. You question yourself and those who you love. I don't have other trans friends and that feels sad. I wish I had somebody that truly undertood what I'm going through. I want to take hormones, I want to actually be the man I know I am. I can't help but doubt if people actually love me pre transition, or if they will still love me after I change, and it's fucking terrifying. I'm glad that there's more of us out there like you, who made through the dysphoria and the depression, who didn't gave up and try to love as best as they can. I hope that one day the trans lonliness won't affect so many of us. Thank you for the video, my guy

I feel indifferent about the outside world im not mad if im by myself as an amab. If i had constant people in my face yapping with me im sure it would be refreshing but it would just get old it wouldnt truly fulfill me.. dating also wouldnt for me as far as i know.

Being lonely and isolated is part of being a man.

Not always studies show there are a good chunk of men that don’t and have never felt this way on a significant scale. It’s also not inherent to being a man and just a result of social circumstances
