Been reading for days on how to get NVME RAID 1 on an R640. I just want two U.2 NVME disks in RAID 1 for the entire system. No boss card, no SAS. I've read you can MAYBE use s140 software RAID but there are mixed reviews. Could you not add a PERC 11 controller ? i realize the PCIe version is lower but i'm not even going to saturate a 16x lane with dual NVME in RAID 1 anyway. Is there a combination of backplanes and cabling that could make that work?

Thank you for the video. One quick question, can an R730 boot Linux from Samsung NVMe M.2 2TB with a Dell BOSS pcie card (without clover usb)? If so which one? I have been getting different answers from sellers.
