I never have issues with people wanting to wear fakes because let's be real spending a cent more over retail is ridiculous especially in today's economy, but its the people with the INTENT to sell fakes to regular people that have me fuming.
What pisses me off the most is that you'll go to your local mall and they'll be like three four reseller shops in the mall right next door to a foot locker. Tell me why they're in a retail location and they don't have to sell their s*** at retail price. Tell them shoes just going to sit there cuz ain't nobody going to come and buy them
I used to be against fake pairs and everything. But recently Nike quality has dropped so much that I fail to see the point of dropping bands on basic pairs. Maybe heaters yeah, but the normal kinds are just not happening anymore as he just said that sometimes the fakes are better than the real pairs. And yes it does.
One of the best ways to tell the difference between real and fake on this particular sneaker is the peak on the "A" in "China" on the back of the tongue tab. The real pair will have a peak on top of the A where on fake pairs - it is flat. It's one of the last ways to tell the difference nowadays and I bought all my pairs early intentionally to make sure they were authentic as factories that create these fakes didn't realize this detail yet. They even source the same material manufacturers for the leather, rubber, etc. Nike is a multibillion dollar corporation and one of the biggest companies humanity has ever seen, so tbh it does not bother me that anyone would buy reps. They're made in similar sweatshops in the same countries. In fact, I ENCOURAGE people to buy from reps because it lowers the demand for authentics and lowers the value for cringey ass scalper resellers who buy and sell sneakers like stocks. Sneakers are meant to be worn, largely by young people who want to look cool. It's not that serious.
At this point, I don't see any reason to buy the real sneakers, the reps got the same comfort level, they look exactly the same, unless some autistic sneakerhead licks them to legit check them, plus at the end of the day all sneakers are REAL sneakers.
They're not fakes they're unauthorized. They're made by the same 8 year old child in China. One is just "better quality". I've bought Jordans from Nike that have the v tab on some of the leather. I've bought some that had paint smudges from Nike.
