  • Spider Farmer recently sent us their G3000 grow light for our next grow series, and we initially measured the light levels inside of their 28"x28" grow tent. We just unboxed their 3'x3' grow tent however, and there was a lot of interest in seeing what the G3000 light levels would be in a tent that size.

    Good info. Fiddling with PAR and having no meter is guesswork

      For sure, and it is hard to justify spending the money on a PAR meter unless you have some way of justifying it.

    Seems good for the size and watt power of light for my 3×3. Might have to get one later this year. Especially having the option to have driver in or outside. Since I had a little trouble keeping heat down in my tent being in the tropics. Thanks Hippie Geeks.

      Yeah, the removable drivers really are nice when you are battling heat. It is just nice to have options =) Thanks for taking the time to watch the video!

    ho i just noticed 24 inch is 61cm and 30inch is 76,2cm, extremly close to fibonacci ratios of 61,8 and 76,4... more i learn about cannabis more i find theses numbers effectiv in every way... i'm asking myself in what other domain of cannabis i can use Fibonacci ratios

    As you said, you could grow from seed to flower at 48"/100% without moving anything! Nice one ✌️🪴🤘

      @@dalibor8397 I'm currently halfway through my first grow with the SF SE3000.I tried using it at a low height and low power, but the plants didn't like it one bit.Raised it's height and power and now they're happy.Definitely more intensity in those things than people realise.✌️

    ok everyone seems to go really easy on their seeds and seedlings and as i never sprouted seeds indoor i am wondering if seeds and seedlings do not like the led lights like the do the sun?
    just wondering as i go full sun shine and never have any problems, i got abot 5 weeks to make my mind up if i sprout in the sun or the tent.
    any thoughts?

    • @TheHippieGeeks
      @TheHippieGeeks  Рік тому +1

      Personally, we prefer growing outside in every way. It is impossible to replicate the sun, wind and rain when growing. With that said, we have to sprout indoors if we want to have decently sized plants to go outdoors on time. Seedlings do fine under LED, we will just always prefer growing outdoors when possible =)
