- Spider Farmer sent over their 3'x3' grow tent for us to check out, so lets get it unboxed and set up. We have an upcoming project that we will need it for, and I also wanted to be able to use it to measure light levels for some of the lights that make sense in a tent that size. As long as you have enough space, a grow tent is pretty easy to set up and get ready to use.

We have a plan for it for sure, but it will be considerably later in the year when this series comes out, probably after the 4x4 wraps up.
I have a 28"x28" spider farmer tent. It has done very well over the years.
We have a couple of that size, they are really great =)

Finally! Someone did a 3x3 tent. This is the size in thinking about. Now best budget light for a 3x3? How many plants can go in it? So Many questions. Lol
We will probably eventually do one large plant, but you could easily do 4-6 smaller ones in something this size. Next week I am going to do a video showing what the light levels in here are with the Spider Farmer G3000 that we just unboxed, and it would be a pretty solid choice. It just depends on what your budget actually is =)

This one wasn't too bad really, when I set up the 4x4 in the studio with no extra space above it or around it, that was a bit of a nightmare =)
I really like my 3×3 SF tent. I have a SF2000 lighting it up and I liked the results. It's my first time so I know I can still improve and looking forward to next grows. Yes it is easy to setup, if I can anyone can.

How did your bud turn out as a first timer
@@mhancock17 They were good. Northern lights and Banana Kush (almost sure about second strain) both autos. They weren't the biggest I've grown since I've grown outdoors before. But they were some of the densest kolos I've grown till then. Been getting better and bigger plants but I've noticed battling the heat since I don't have AC and Cal/Mag gets used up by the ladies extremely fast compared to outdoors. Those are the biggest issues where I'm at with the tent. If I had a better set up with AC and stuff I'm sure it'd be a 10/10 but I'm getting solid 8.5-9 outta 10 now.

You mentioned your cats jumping on your tents, right now my cat is making my tent a stary night. I’m seeing a lot of holes from from her claws. How do you stop your cat from sharpening their claws on your tent?
It's not easy, and really it is the same way that you try to get a cat to claw anything. We have other things that they are allowed to scratch on and prefer, which seems to keep them away from the tents for the most part.

Could you do a test for light leaks?
It's easier if you rotate the frame horizontally on the floor.
I have heard from several folks that it worked out for them, will have to try it the next time I set up a tent =)
Thats what i did made it super easy to slap together fit the sleeve over the poles then bam popped her up

hi, is the frame in metal or plastic?
All of the Spider Farmer tents that we have used so far have had metal frames.
Whats the biggest size led? that can fit in the 3×3 tent. what do u recommend?

What I would to see from anyone is how to fold up the tent... putting it together has always been 1 2 3, but when growing season is over, folding it back up is a mess. I would to know how they fold it back it up to its smallest fold possible
Folding them back up isnt terrible, but they are never as small as they were the day you unboxed them. we have gotten them pretty tight, but they have always take up more space. For the most part we leave ours set up so have not had to worry about that too much =)
