Thanks @tommyslats this video was not only amazingly well shot and entertaining but also a perfect tutorial! From this I have caught virtually every species you get in the harbour and west of the bridge. 100% strike rate so far going out land or boat. These are great lures and really easy to use but also great to target and actually angle the fish out! Thank you again!
My favourite fishing video from 2022! I watched this video and decided to buy the risky critter which was a great decision as I’ve caught many bream and other fish on it so far!
Great video Tommy. I recently bought the new risky critters to use in my local dam. Using your techniques (slightly modified for the waterway) I have been successful in catching yellow belly and some decent sized redfin. I have found the sinking action of these soft plastics produces the goods more often than the retrieval action. I also employ your strategy of % fishing, and move regularly to different structures throughout Googong dam. Keep up the great work, this was one of my favourite videos so far in 2022
Been using these for about 4 weeks now and these softies are amazing to use on my super light setup!! Favourite colours are the chartreuse and skin shrimp!!
I've had good success so far on the risky critters. But carpeted sunny coast canal pontoons make it tricky to cast up and drop back. Tight into the edges does the job.
Hi Mate, Thanks for your previous reply in regards to my inquiry. I'm looking forward to purchasing a rod or two from the Daiwa Infeet 20 range for land base fishing with soft plastics lures targeting Brim and Red Fin. Could you be kind enough to advise me Rod Infeet 20 Z range or the Infeet 20 range which would best suit me and a reel 2500 please. Cheers.
Hi Scott, The main differences are body size and line capacity. The 2000s is lighter in the hand and the 2500s has a larger spool diameter making it a better reel if you wanted to run straight through flourocarbon. Both reels are S models meaning they have shallow spools and a 5kg finesse drag to fish the thin/light lines effectively. If you are after an all rounder I would go with the 2500 size.
Being a bream specific lure, they should come in that 2 to 2.5 inch size. I find that I have to cut all my grubs and Risky Critters, and its somewhat annoying to be honest.
Shame about all the plastic used in the packaging of fishing lures. The industry should do more to sell its products with less waste that destroys the ocean.
We need to see more vids like this!!! those critters look the goods ,and im super keen to throw them around some of the structures down my ways.
We Gotchu, more coming!! 😉👊
@@DaiwaAustralia 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Man thinking the same!! 1v1 video vs video collaboration? 😉
The risky critters in the camo are one of the best Bream soft plastics I've used. This is a great vid showing brilliant techniques to try. Great work.
Good to see soft plastic techniques clearly demonstrated.
Keen to give them a shot around the hacking, looks the goods
Definitely one of my favorites of 2022. The production is a step up and it's great to see these types of videos coming directly from the manufacturer.
Love the design and concept of the risky critter, just like a clicker / nipper. Would love a new revelry

Great to see relatable content, hoping to get out and utilize these practices on my new Revelry Reel.
Great advice on modifying the risky critters by shortening. i am sure these will go well on yellowbelly too.

Hi Kobi,
We have been using 1/16 and 1/24 HW Jigheads and that gives a nice slow sink when pitched up and under cover.
Daiwa wins!!! 🤘

Reel giveaway favourite video of 2022
The junkie risky critter is the first time ever using soft plastic and I was very impressed by how many times I got smashed 😎
Hey mate do you have a link for your boat 🚢
Toms boat is a US built Pheonix 818 PRO
For SW WA..,
