Legends, get into it! How good was that Collab format! bloody loved it, A Big thanks to Mick for getting involved buddy
Lets go!! Big ups to you my rival 🥊
My favourite creature bait is the 2" Zman crusteaz in bloodworm colour
Cheers for entering!
Well done Mick, you did your state proud.
Boooooo!!! 😅😅😂
Great take on a collaborative Byron 👏 another informative and enjoyable review.
Awesome
Well done Byron and Mick - honours shared on the fish caught! I've had good success with the Pro Lure Live Yabbie fished over nipper banks. Unweighted Ecogear bream prawns are also a favourite.
Cheers buddy
Great review once again, Collab with Mick was cool too. Favourite is the crabby but I haven't really played around with creature baits much. Will be getting my hands on some of these when I get the chance.
Awesome dude, glad you liked the collab, remember the link when you're into it
Not had too much joy on creature baits but love the way the Holt Production swim prawn walks along the sand, looks exactly like a nipper.
Holts got a good prawn going on
As a rival, i still love yah mate, LETS GO! big ups to getting me involved and it was a pleasure
Hahaha legend. So your conceding?
I wont tell the viewers that you didn’t include my video of the 44 fork yellowfin bream, typical……
@@flickwithmick bahahahahahah. That one you were dreaming about?
Hey mick what kind of reel were you using in this video? is it a diawa td black 2500d? or a diawa td black mq?
@@snxwwy8240 hey bro! Thats the older td black, still waiting for the mq to drop 👌🏼
the 2 inch and 2.5 inch gulp crabby in camo has gotten me off doughnuts countless times and it is my favourite for that reason
I know that feeling!
Cannot wait to get my hands on those risky critters to cast at some flatties🤙🎣 My favourite creature bait at the moment is the Zman TRD craws soft plastic in the bloodworm colour, or the Zman finesse frogs in the green colour have been nailing the Bass.🔨👍, awesome to see the collaboration with Mick, cheers Byron 👊… FWM
Dude, buy em through the link legend.
@@ByronTeaHill will do!
I like the gulp sand worms in camo colour
Awesome dude!
My favourite that I'm currently using is the zman crusteaz. Keen to give these a go. Great video as always Byron!
Thanks legend
Good to see a bit of interstate competition! Berkeley Gulp crabbys are hard to go past for me but definitely keen to give these new Daiwa creatures a go!
Mate the Crabby is a proven lure
Zman trd crawz in bloodworm 👌
Mint, second person to mention it
Awesome vid mate, really can’t wait to get my hands on some 👍🏻
I usually throw Razoredge Bruce’s or Baitbreath rush craws
nice choice!
Can't wait to get my hands on some!my favourite, albeit not a pure creature bait is the Squidgy Pro Prawn Wriggler, in cracked pepper. Brilliant on flats in that subtle clear colour when the prawns are running especially!
Nice!
I have never used has creature by but would be definitely keen to try
Yeah dude! Enter the giveaway then :)
@@ByronTeaHill done
My favourite at the moment is the prolure Live yabbie in either Mud green or chartreuse shrimp
Awesome Johnathon!
Salt water yabby (in roe) Colour from low tide lures australia are awsome creature baits on the flats, especially if there are nippers around. I always try to support the little guys and aussie products. Thanks for another great vid Byron.
My pleasure Nigel
The Gulp Prawn is go-to when i know there are shrimp in the system.
works a treat
Favourite creature bait to date has to be the ol gulp crabby in camo. Has served me well multiple times especially on the Gold Coast. 👍
tried and proven Harry
Since I saw you post the photo a couple of weeks ago I've been so keen to see the clip and to give them a run! Thanks mate, I've finally got a lire I can confidently replace my trusty squidgy lobby! I've only got a couple left, and I've been searching for a replacement! Very excited to throw these at bream and bass Thanks mate!
My pleasure dude but I didn’t design it! I just reviewed it. Hahaha hopefully they work a treat for you.
Great video Byron. My favourite creature bait would have to be the Gulp Nemesis in camo, the bream and whiting love them!
Thanks legend
Great vid. My favourite creature bait is the Zman TRD crawz!
Cheers dude
Nothing beats throwing unweighted or lightly weighted creature baits around the south coast and Gippsland weed beds and oyster racks, OSP do-live shrimp has been my favourite for a couple years now, great action and a slightly smaller profile for when the fish are being finicky.
Nice Lachie! how good.
Cranka crab for favourite, but most expensive around structure 😅 Can't wait to try them. Thanks Byron 👍
No worries Peter
Fav creature bait for bream is the monster miki, for bass the trd craze. Great vid. Collab was good
Awesome Alex
Great to see my local in this vid too😂 Mick forgot about that sunken tree on the first fish it seems.
My go to creature bait is the keitech crazy flapper in 2.8" green pumpkin pepper chartreuse. Bream weapon!
The Damiki monster miki's are one of the best. I cant wait to try these in Sydney too.
Nice bro!
My favourite is the old trusty gulp crabby in camo but also I love the ecogear iso worm in the natural colour
Entered Perry!
Love the colab
Cheers dude
Creature baits will have a place in my box would love to try some
100% dude
Damiki monster Miki 🙌 for me
Cheers legend
Liked the variety that mick caught . Havent ever used any creature baits but like using motor oil and watermelon colours
Awesome Paul, thanks for commenting mate
Rocking the 'Bounty Hunter' tee - a little bit of Kiwi in Oz. Nice. As a kiwi 'lured' to your channel by the Mokes series, I enjoyed watching this. I think I'd hard to find living down south having watched all the incredible Queensland-based fishing and weather on various channels, but it's cool to watch you in action on home turf.
Yeah boi! Bro thats insane you're watching from NZ. I've got another 5 of them to pump out soon. hopefully you enjoy them dude
Can't beat a camo gulp crabby but keen to give these a go
its a good little lure legend
Hey Byron, this was a very fun video as I haven't had a proper go at using creature baits yet but I do have the ZMan TRD Clawz in motor oil in my tackle bag ready to go when the time comes to give it a go.
Thanks!
Very cool
I don’t use creature baits very often because I haven’t had any luck with them yet so I don’t have a favourite!
I love the imitation of the leg movement, had to wind back up and watch it again haha
Going to check out Mick’s channel.
You should, he does some great landbased content
That’s a tough comp to call great fun though!!! I would say the creature bait I get most use of is the gulp turtleback worm and cranka crab in olive 👍
Good call legend
This was a great video man I come from Flickwithmick’s channel and I definitely subbed bro, great collab would love to see more of this 🔥
Thanks for the sub legend!!! Bloody awesome
Anytime mate 👍
Saw your TD black MQ reel again. ☺️
Yeah you did!
NSW on top 🤴
The Zman trd crawz are a awesome lure to catch so much fish.
Can't wait to try out some of those risky critters they look absolutely cracka 🔥🔥🔥
Once again NSW on top 🥵
Boooo.. this video was discounted due to family biase
@@ByronTeaHill Hahahaha.....Mick caught more fish but you caught less but better size/quality One's then Micks Flatty streak🤣🔥
😂😂😂😂 ibby MA MAN!!!
Great video and SO informative as always. I haven't fished creature baits before but have been excited about these since they were announced. I can't wait to try them on Bass, Redfin and Yellowbelly in my local waterways!
Awesome Matt! Thanks for commenting legend
@@ByronTeaHill anytime :)
Loved the new format! My current favourite is a 2in Gulp Crabby in camo. Super excited to give these a try! Thanks
Good luck!
BTH .......for the win, plus looks like you need some love mate. Misses giving you a slap, Daiwa burn and GoPro not on. Priceless.
My favourite creature bait is locally made Munroe's Soft Plastics ripple bug! In either swarf or motor oil, there's not much that won't hit them. Salt or fresh, there a close match for our juvenile squid here on PPB.......Plus 100% Australian Made and always great service.
Cheers
Yeww!!!!! Thanks for the thoughts Mark, glad you enjoyed it mate
Gday mate, great video once again and I’m really keen to be able to use these plastics they look awesome and will definitely become my new favourite creature bait. My favourite creature bait right now would be the 2 inch bug from strike tiger. Great vid mate
Cheers dude
Haven’t used a lot of creature baits, but my favourite would be the zman crusteaz as it caught one of if not my biggest bream
awesome Ned!
Nice collaboration mate I like the angle you went with and to get a review in both vic and nsw can only be a good thing I have to say I have a few packs already as for favourite creature bait would have to the the Samaki spider prawn in pumpkin seed orange however depending on the situation and structure both the gulp crabby and Berkley Hawg still have a stash of them and who can forget the top hard creature bait of all time the cranka crab nice review boys and think there is space for more collaborations to come in the future
Hey dude, I'm happy you enjoyed it mate. those lures are killer mate, always an open door to collabs!
@@ByronTeaHill hmmm this could be interesting 🧐
Camo Gulp Crabby 2.5 is my go to creature bait. These look good cut down, I've already got my order in!
Proven lure right there
My favourite creature baits currently are the live yabbie from prolure and the do live shrimp from OSP. Historically the hang from Berkley is always the king. It'll be interesting to give these a go. Merry Christmas mate.
you too Jason, thanks for watching both vids dude
nice vid mate, i got a 38 yellow fin bream on first cast with em, they work so well.
Awesome to hear!!! That’s pretty cool
Another cracking review mate. I currently use the pro lure for salt water and the crabby for a trailer in freshwater. These look pretty sweet, keen to try them out.
Nice one
my go to creature bait would have to be a 2 inch gulp crabby, Camo for the dirtier water and pearl watermelon for the clear water such as f when i’m fishing the rack at foster or even a Gulp Nemesis if that is slightly considered a creature bait for when they are honed in on the bait fish.
such a proven bait hey!
The Damiki Monster Miki is a go to for me. Can be soft on delicate on the jighead but the fish smash em!
popular one!
Mick won for sure big trev and a stack of flatties plus he was land based haha
I don't throw many creature baits but favourite is the OSP Do Live Shrimp
Boooo
@@ByronTeaHill 🤣
I haven’t used a creature bait in bit but I remember I liked the squidgies crawler in black
Awesome dude! Entered
Another epic vid, have to be the prolure live yabbie pearl green on the boat rails in Sydney harbour.
Awesome Angus.
Another great video and informative review can’t wait to try these out currently for me on the creature baits in the fresh where I live it’s the smaller strike tiger nymphs and in the salt the pro lure yabbies
Cheers buddy
I have done much with Creature baits in the past but after watching this video I’ll definitely be giving these a go.
Awwww yeahhh!!
Only creature baits i've used so far is z-man crabby in watermelon red and 2.5" camo berkley gulp crabby. I like the berkley gulp crabby better it has longer legs to entice the fish and the fish love the scent. Cheers mate.
Cheers Rex!
Love to see these new daiwa baits coming out recently but will forever stay loyal to zman 🤣
hahahahaha legend
Nice Video. Going to check these out. I throw creature baits in the fresh usually. My favs are the Keitech Crazy Flapper and the Damiki Monster Miki.
Good choice!
100% the canka crab in the brown crab colour and everybody knows that Byon is the winner!
Awww yeah. Thanks legend!!!
Fav creature bait is the 2.5 cammo crabby by Berkeley, it’s my doughnut saver and got me 5th place in a comp recently.
awesome
Until now definetly couldnt go past the good ole crabby or a razor edge lures bruce, but this is a new staple also!
totally
Tacklebox staple is a 2.5" gulp crabby in camo.... when they're in stock I stock up 🤣
They're available using the ebay link in the video legend
Bth for the win I reckon 😉I’m but sure it’s defined as a creature bait but the gulp turtleback worm is the number 1 lure around here. There’s a local worm that come out of the mud that is nearly identical to the pumpkin seed colour. They sure ain’t durable but the do catch a lot of fish.
Yeah gulps catch heaps but break easy.. when snapper fishing with gulp crazy legs jerkshads it’s not uncommon to go through 2 or 3 bags of plastics a day
The classic gulp Crabby 2.5inch in camo or OSP Dolive craw 2inch in bloodworm TW-137
Awesome!
A oil flash might be nice, I’ve had most luck with that colour such a good colour
Good choice!
Might see if there in store at the local fishing shop 🤙🤙🤙
Id say there's a good chance dude
I don't see why Daiwa would be upset. All the reviews were good!
hahahaha, well it was a risk!
Yes you dodged a bullet!
Too date the prolure live yabbie in mud green is my favourite creature bait and has accounted for many bream but that could change with the new risky critter
hahaha give em a go legend
Only used one creature bait before and that’s the zman trd crawz, caught a couple bream and flatties but can’t wait to give these a go cause they look a lot better. Just getting into jig bass fishing so will try them as a trailer. Can’t wait🤙
Nice!!
Don’t fish creature baits very often unless you count a cranka as a creature bait but my favourite that I have fished is the keitech crazy flapper slays the bream when they are keyed in on that sort of presentation
I'd count that!
Awesome collab 🔥🔥
Thanks 🔥
Some Very Nice Bream there Byron but it it was a numbers game it looks like FWM is victorious over the Victorian!Unfortunately I can’t tell you my favourite creature bait as I’ve never tried any as yet! I shall definitely give these Risky Critters a go upon release👍
hahaha! legend.
Gulp Crabby- the donut saver.
agreed
Great video byron :)
I have 2 go to fav creature baits the first one is a eco aqua in the salt and pepper colour ( with little to no weight ) i would fish that when sight casting bream on the gold coast canals. and the second is a pro lure live cray greenish colour ( doesnt say the colour on the packet). :) and i would fish that one around heavy structure like fallen timbor and bridge pylons.
tight lines, CJ :)
p.s. keep up the great content!!!!!!
will do CJ! it's awesome to see you come back over and over for the last year!
@@ByronTeaHill its pretty easy to come back when it is great content :)
Gotta be an old school Gulp Camo Craw. That thing was soo good
Cheers legend
G day Byron when u say the forster racks do u mean the forster tuncurry racks i live there and fish for bream there allot yewww can't wait for the vid
Yup! sure do
I can't wait yewwww
Let's get
yup yup
I never use this lure. Nice video always ☺️
😂 hahahaha
These risky critters look awesome. BTH only just beating FLW. As to my favourite creature bait I don’t have one as I’ve never fished creature baits but I’ll be sure to grab a few.
Thanks Joel! I knew I had one supporter!!!! hahaha
Loving this colab format. Great to see two of my favourite UA-camrs working together, too. NSW FTW! 😎
My favourite creature bait has been the Berkley Gulp Crabbie in 2.5” Camo.
Pumped that you enjoyed it dude
I got to meet Kris Hickson a few months ago and managed to fish with him, he gave me a packet of these while he was testing them.
Awww yeah!!’ What colour did you get?
Pearl it works great on the bream and perch.
Haven’t really used much in terms of creature baits, closest would be new the Shimma Shrimp from Berkley which work quite nice in the nuclear shrimp colour.
Thanks for sharing legend
Enjoyed the Collab with Mick. Good to see it being used in different locations around the country. Haven’t really fished with any creature baits but definitely going to give these a go
Awesome dude
Hey Byron I’ve recently been liking the zmann and Keitech in the darker colours more so 🤞🏻 fingers crossed on this one love the baitjunkie range
awesome dude
my go to creature bait is a trd craw ned rigged they often get smashed just sitting on the bottom
entered
still in the gud books with Daiwa BTH.
yup yup
Great video, nice info regarding the rigging. Guessing you didn't have any issues regarding durability of the tails. I enjoy using the Z-man TRD craw either good old motor oil or greasy prawn. TH for the win as one bream is worth 5 flatties. Suspect I may end up with one of each of these to cover fresh to salt.
Nah, there’s been a little development in the material since the BJ’s were released. They’re a treat
ive actually enjoy fishing with the Munroes ripple bug in the Apple Crush colour. i dont use them much nor do i use any creature bait much as they aren't my go to but the still seem to work pretty well around my area.. lovin the vids byron keep it up mate
Cheers legend.
Always rely on the trusty cranka crabs as my preferred creature bait but I really like the design on these. The versatility of cutting them down like some of the other bait junkie range is a bonus. Keen to try them on my next trip. Cheers for the review!
Thanks Luis!
Gulp Crabby in Watermelon or Breen are the go for me. They don't hold together for long but they certainly attract the fish and can be fished like bait if you're feeling a bit lazy :D Would love to give these Risky Critters a crack.
Legend
I think Mick may have outfished you land based in arguably Australia's dirtiest system. Top video Byron well done mate, thoroughly enjoyed....
bahahaha
Nice video,i do watch flick with Mick.I recently have tried the Squidgies grub doubletail ,will need to fish them more to get a better opinion on them.I have also tried 6th Sense stroker craws they are a US bass creature bait 3.3 inch and have caught Flathead and even small school jew in deeper holes.I think these Baitjunkies will also work well on a ned right type of jig head in deep holes with some current, jigging vertically from a yak and or weedless for jacks in the creeks .Will have to give them a go.
Thanks buddy! They are a good creature bait option dude!
Awesome video again mate. I love using the Zman TRD Crawz rigged with a Nedlockz jiggead. Nice long pauses keeps the crayfish imitation in a defensive position on the bottom with its pincers up and seems to entice a few goodens 👌
Thanks for the tip!
Loved the collab!!! Sorry mick, Byron won this one. Maybe you will win the next one… hopefully there is more.
hahaha I hope so too dude!
Haha!! 😡
Byron been waiting for this video for ever and so glad I waited all the fish u caught in the video were very solid fish at the moment am using the pro lure yabbie and love it and caught some nice fish thx Byron love the vid
No worries Xavier, glad you enjoyed it buddy and thanks for getting involved
Damiki monster mikis mate, lost a 3m flatty on the deep red, camera wasn't on for me either, devastated
sure it wasn't 2.8?
@@ByronTeaHill no it wasn't 2.8 they don't fight like a 3 metery, that last 200mm adds an hour to the fight I swear
