The State of The MCU

Spoilers for Deadpool & Wolverine for those who haven't watched. I thought I'd talk about the state of the MCU and where they seem to be going go, especially after the latest announcements at SDCC

A standalone was much needed for the mcu right now. Making a series or a movie that connects to the overall multiversal saga would just mess things up. Also the best Gambit is the Gambit in X-Men 97.

I think standalone is best for Deadpool overall so it doesn't restrict the character. Just now where do we go from here with the overarching story for the MCU and how can Doom be tied in and given proper build up? As for Gambit, I'm just glad Channing Tatum got his flowers
