Fun fact: As an extra measure to show how insane the Splatanas are doing, at 12:12 Zorconic references this by having the 2nd best one's image take over while the number 1 best is talked about! (No shade in the mistake, it's funny though)
I love that you're expanding on what Chara is doing on his channel and I can't wait to see what he has to say about the rankings for each weapon of the next season.
As a Octobrush main, I very much respect your opinion on it! For me, I just look at most of the positives it has instead of the negatives. I mostly play aggressive weapons, and Octobrush does just that! However there are some things that don't really surprise me when I play it, like Zipcaster is sort of predictable, and it isn't that great when it comes to reliability for splats because of the slow kill time. While V Inkbrush and Tri Slosher do its job a lot better since both of them have a very fast kill time, and Inkbrush having better mobility and a better kit, the love I have for Octobrush won't change! And my kit for a new Octobrush would be Splat bomb and Kraken! Splat bomb as a displacement tool and Kraken as a tool to help it get picks and help the team to move forward!
I think one of the reasons vbrush is not seen as much in comp is the absurd physicality check the weapon requires. Like if you can't consistently mash your trigger to hell and back, you're losing its ability to threaten a quick kill and all you are left with is a mid kill time from very close range on a very mobile weapon. And if you can mash buttons super fast, well the squeezer kit is mid but the main weapon is still busted as hell so might as well use your button mashing prowess on that weapon! I know there are a couple top level brush players and the kit and weapon are good in the right hands but I think it's just too inaccessible mechanically to be super common. If painbrush gets another solid buff, I wouldn't be surprised if it overtook the vbrush in competitive popularity, even if the vbrush is technically the better weapon.
A Sploosh's goal is to annoy people, friend and foe alike. All the comments about the weapon sucking and its users being braindead are proof we're doing a good job, please keep them coming!
The problem is that at high level Anarchy, X rank and competitive. Such a strategy is unviable at those levels especially with how the maps are design. With no range due to it's lack of poking subs, Sploosh can't do jack when opponents lock them out.

as a S+ bloblobber user i personally think its mid at min, its kill time lacks when you cant aim. but it rewards good observations and gives the center area a good range of potential splats... really its just a skill based weapon... *or im using it completely wrong in the front lines somehow doing extremely well, just like i am with tri stringer and custom jr all as slayers*
As a slosher main, I love the Bloblobber. I agree that it's the worst Slosher as it's easily countered by strafing and many players use Run Speed Up, but it's very spammable and can hold its own as long as you keep a fair distance from the enemy.
as a Hydra main, i think the Hydra is incredibly underrated. although i have only been maining it for a month and a half now, i've grown very fond of this weapon. the kit it has as alright, and i do agree that machine could be a better choice for booyah bomb, however, i can get pretty good k-d ratios and end a match in a win due to its long range and kill ability.
I’ve been a hydra main for about 6 months, and I have to agree. It’s large range allows to to stay in the back line and pick off the people fighting with the other front liners. But the reason I’ve stuck with it is just because I find it fun to play.
As a non hydra main I have gotten an accidental wipeout with this weapon (I got way too close to the enemy team and was just trying to get out of their base).
I've mained Hydra for years now and agree that it is underrated, but it's still the worst splatling right now. This is because all the splatlings are quite strong currently, with the only exceptions really being the minis and Hydra, which are all still at least decent. Calling Hydra the weakest splatling isn't saying it's bad, it's saying all the others are better.
As a person who doesn’t main hydra: this is a competitive tier list so it really doesn’t matter for solo queue, in a environment where you can communicate it is very easy to deal with Hydra with bombs and/or displacement special

You can see it in the Inkopolus Ammo Knights.

Coming from someone who has 4 starred reeflux and formerly mained it, it's because of the inconsistent one-shots and lack of range, which makes it struggle to flex between the slayer and support roles. Also the kit is garbage and unsynergistic. If i were to buff reeflux, I'd probably increase its shot velocity and range to make the weapon more threatening.
@@JDSTACKALOTT the thing I would personally do is a class buff: give them the Squiffer treatment Both stringers have to rely on their vertical shot to one shot consistently, so they need to be able to jump a lot The thing I noticed while playing this class is that despite the movement speed buff they both got, they’re not quite as mobile as they should be And they both need synergistic kits as well because FUCK MISSILES AND CURLING So here are my two kit ideas: Tristringer will get ink mine and Crab tank Tri already is a pretty good weapon at keeping map control with its explosion arrows, so Crab will make that ability even better + Tri is the main new weapon of S3, it should get the main new special of S3 like Splat dualies got Missiles in S2 Reeflux would get Fizzy bomb and either Trizooka, Kraken, Wave or Storm Reeflux needs a special that support his agressive playstyle while also help teammates pushing and take map control Fizzy would work perfect for it since it does what curling likes to do on the Vanilla Reef while also comboing with the weapon’s damage So that’s what I want for this class. If Bubble blower ever comes back in a future update I’d like to see it on the Reeflux
I haven't four 🌟 the weapon itself (I'm very close though) but I personally find reeflux's kit very enjoyable, curling helps me throw my enemies off while also giving me a quick last resort escape while missiles help me locate and spread out the enemy team. Of course I agree with the consistency with the shots but overall I think the weapons is mid tier at least. Also I would love a Torp + Kraken or Fizzy + Storm on this thing 😂
Great video!! I agree with you mostly though I think Vanilla Carbon Roller is even worse than dynamo, since Dynamo counters short-range shooters while carbon can't do anything without its good kit, but I might be biased-
As a Brella class main, I will say... Undercover is the simplest to use, but its stats are awful. Brella is a bit more complex with how to use it, but with (some) better stats. Tent is the hardest to use, but also the best one. (Hard bc it's slow, but its other stats are pretty good) None of them have reliable hitboxes for attacking Stupid ping makes shots go through the sheild I'm pretty sure tent and splat can tank some specials with their sheilds (sometimes) New Splat Brella kit is amazing Sorrella Tent kit is amazing I miss Kensa Undercover
Really good video but I do not agree on the dapples! They may have a weaker range and not be as precise as other dualies, but they're faster and have a quite good mobility! The nouveau are especially good bc the rest of the kit works well with the primary weapon! They're a good offensive weapon when used in a really short range and in a way that takes your opponent by surprise. They're just not so efficient when you have to defend yourself due to their limited range so you might die a lot using them (but if you use the weapon correctly, you'll still normally have a good k/d ratio).
It really hurts and I feel very unlucky when my favourite weapon (Sploosh) is in a shit-hole in Splatoon 3 and probably will be until the Sploosh 7 comes out with splat bomb. Sploosh for some unknown reason is the only shooter that hasn't been gifted the shooter privilege and is on par with (or even worse than) the entire Brella class. Don't even get me started on the maps which make the weapon worse than it already is with the lack of flanks. Sploosh's main problem is that it's stuck with utility subs while also competing with certain playstyles against other weapons which don't have that utility sub problem while also having more range.
and the fact that it straight up loses to chargers, sloshers and splatlings, even if going on an ultra stampede. If you get pincered no matter which sploosh variant ya use, it just becomes frustrating. It promotes aggressive play, but how aggressive is too aggressive where you get punished instead of rewarded when running into so many weapons that have one shot windows or 2 tap 2 win? And then there's the interaction with laggy servers.
I think some weapons depend on the terrible map design. I think hydra and bathtub have a niche on chokepoint maps where their range, window, and AoE can be impossible to avoid with little room provided.
I main the Splattershot Pro with 5 stars on it and it’s worse than you might think. We already know that it has a really bad ink efficiency but this thing has a really slow shot velocity when you’re trying to hit an enemy while they’re either moving or escaping. Another problem that the pro has is that it’s range is not good for it which struggles dealing with most long or mid range weapons and I kept thinking that I could splat them but only to mess up because it’s range got nerfed for no reason and especially that it has the same range as the dualie squalcher which is really dumb and same thing can be said with the H3 too because it shares the same range as these two but meanwhile the 96. Gal gets to have more range than the pro and can splat in 2 shots even though it has accuracy rng but it should have more range or the same range as the .96 gal. The last problem it has might not be that big of a deal but this thing takes literally 6 shots to make it paint around your feet and it’s really annoying to have to shoot on the ground with it.
6:09 trust me when you actually start putting a long of time and effort into learning dynamo, you're gonna start seeing lot less 4/15 kd's and a lot more 15/4's
Thanks for addressing the inconsistent roller hitbox!! I find it really frustrating when using ultra stamp. It happens quite often that my stamp will slightly touch the corner of another player's roller and somehow we end up both dying while neither of us should have died? IT'S REALLY WEIRD AND FRUSTRATING!!!
I am a bloblober mai right now and if I don't get very close combat it's a very nice weapon to control a zone. (I might change to a sloshing machine soon)
Splatling main who struggles with the Ballpoint and Minis, but has relative success with Hydra here. Hello. It's always cool to see how comp sees and values weapons, even if I have no interest in playing competitive at all. Especially seeing how to use specials that I can't get a handle on. Also I want to help with the algorithm.
As a former bloblobber main it's v kit in splat 3 sucks, back in splat 2, splash wall removed the flaws you described, especially bad mobility. Sprinkler just doesn't work for it. Really hope deco kit will have splash wall
As a dynamo main, yeah I agree the dynamo is a pile of hot garbage. Some of us may be able to get a little bit of value every now and then, but the inconsitencies, the kit, the fact that the main weapon isn't amazing, all just make it hard to make it work. Maybe we might have a chance when (if) we finally get the gold dynamo.
1:58 If it was up to me, the Forge Splattershot Pro would have Suction Bomb and Zipcaster, and the third Splattershot Pro would have Splat Bomb and Booyah Bomb again. I think Nintendo just doesn't like giving Splatoon 3 weapons their exact Splatoon 2 kits.
@@gregheffley5745 All kensa weapons were called “limited edition” by Sheldon when you’d buy one. Or when you unlocked them, either bought or unlocked in his dialogue.
So the other day I faced a team of 4 wipers who all obviously knew each other. They all had the same specials of missiles so I basically had all of ten missiles on me at any time. Their long and wide range made it extremely difficult to get in anywhere because it was on the supermarket and they kind of took the narrow point and covered the entire thing. What would you have done here
If I were to buff the Goo Tuber (for the 100th time since Nintendo has already buffed it a bunch back in Splatoon 2) I would give it the MPU treatment, AKA giving the Goo Tuber a much faster kill time by making it’s earliest 100 damage shots to be only half charges instead of 3 quarter charges. But it would need to charge less which in other words it would have to have even less range by being able to 1 shot sooner. So I would also give it a 6% range buff to it’s maximum charge range as well, so it’s new earliest 100 damage charge shot would still roughly have the same range as it had before but it would be able to charge much quicker than it did before if that makes any sense to anyone, and it would also give the Goo Tuber’s maximum charge shots much more suppression than it had before as well. And I’m not done yet, I would also give the Goo Tuber a 10% painting buff to it’s maximum charge shots so it could at least paint much more better when your constantly charging and painting over an area with the Goo Tuber at full charge. These buffs are supposed to make the Goo Tuber’s maximum range shots feel more distinct compare to the other shorter range chargers like Squiffer and Bamboo, since the Goo Tuber charges way slower than the other two chargers anyways. Second I also want it’s partial charge shots feel more threatening at mid range, since that’s practically the Goo Tuber’s alternative job if it’s not going for full charge shots and it would also prevent it from being completely outclassed by the normal Charger as well. And finally, I would also give the Goo Tuber’s maximum charge shots better paint output because the charger itself can’t paint that quickly from a far distance compare to like E-Liter and normal Charger.
Id swap Vapples and Napples bc while yes, Napples have a bomb unlike Vapples, its kit is easily outclassed by Detras (unlike Vapples which do have a little niche of having both Squid Beakon and Tacticooler)
@@Linkathon Wrong. I only spam missiles because of the Reeflux-I like Ultra Stamp way better than Tenta Missiles. Also the Splatana Wiper Deco's sub is Beakon which forces me to use a lot of Sub Power Up. That PREVENTS me from having enough Special Charge up for it to be a viable spammer, especially during Splatfests when I'm forced to use Ability Doubler.
Yo Zorc I haven’t finished this video so far(almost done with the shooter section) but this video is an absolute BANGER so far Some really quick things I noticed(one of which is in the description): You said SSMU instead of SSBU when listing the game “Halland Dallarna” is from When saying vanilla wiper is better in the stronger section, you zoomed in on deco wiper, not vanilla
I play a fair amount of weapons and ironically two of my favorites are clash and octobrush. I however completely agree with their placement, I don’t bother to use specials at all with brush and it would benefit from reefslider, splashdown, or wail.
8:19 Not again! Zorconic, I'll say it again: I can't have you criticizing my favorite slosher. The sad part is that this weapon doesn't really deserve to be my favorite. The Sloshing Machine has my favorite sub AND my favorite special, which made it my favorite weapon of them all at the launch of Splatoon 3. But then they nerfed it to 220 points for Booyah Bombs. It's still the only weapon that needs 220, so I can't consider it my favorite anymore. Sloshing Machine still gets to be my second favorite slosher, but I'm not happy about it.
I never realized how little inkbrush users there are. It's a sacred art that only few can master for maximum efficiency and turf coverage. (Btw we mainly play turf war and our fingers are sore as hell when we finish a play session)
15:35 If the Clash Blaster Neo's kit just plain sucks, I'll tell you this. If it was up to me, the standard Clash Blaster would have Squid Beakon and Booyah Bomb, and the Neo would have its Curling Bomb and Tenta Missiles again.
Thx for the tierlist, ist nice to see other opinions of which weapons are good and which aren't. But I have a question, are the Dapples really that bad? I know that they have a lack of range, but therfore they can kill really fast and have good mobility in my opinion. Yeah, the kit could be better, but torpedo can be helpful killing enemies. Am I just overhyping the Daplles and would you recommend switching to other Dualies for aggressive playstyle?
They don’t have too good mobility. Their dodges go practically no where. There are better aggressive weapons like the tetra dualies and splatanas wiper. You play what you want tho.
@@Linkathon What makes the Dapple Dualies good is the fact that they have a fast kill time with a large hitbox. Tacticooler is nothing like Suction-Bomb Launcher, but that's not the real good one. The real good one is the blue Dapple Dualies with a much better kit.
I agree with where the brushes are rank on the list, the Octobrush has lost a lot of it’s glory in Splatoon 3 because of it facing harsh competition with Tri-Slosher and the Ink Brush being able to do it’s job much better in different ways, plus Zipcaster was a very hyped and cool special for the Octobrush in particular, but it’s sad to see it’s special holding it back due to the special getting the player killed a lot more than you hope it doesn’t do sometimes.
I will never regret getting both the vdapples and vsploosh to 4 stars because who needs to outclass other weapons when I can use my movement skills to outclass other players. Sure I can get picked off from afar but then I just need to close the gap. I play plenty of ranked I just do so to mess with tryhards and have fun. I do play a lot of weapons so its inevitable that I play ones deemed unviable or outclassed, but I enjoy pushing these weapons to their limits. It's how I can still find enjoyment in this game during its droughts of nothing new really happening besides some balance patches. The game is fun it just feels lacking sometimes.

The thing I noticed while playing this class is that despite the movement speed buff they both got, they’re not quite as mobile as they should be
And they both need synergistic kits as well because FUCK MISSILES AND CURLING
So here are my two kit ideas:
Tristringer will get ink mine and Crab tank
Tri already is a pretty good weapon at keeping map control with its explosion arrows, so Crab will make that ability even better + Tri is the main new weapon of S3, it should get the main new special of S3 like Splat dualies got Missiles in S2
Reeflux would get Fizzy bomb and either Trizooka, Kraken, Wave or Storm
Reeflux needs a special that support his agressive playstyle while also help teammates pushing and take map control
Fizzy would work perfect for it since it does what curling likes to do on the Vanilla Reef while also comboing with the weapon’s damage
So that’s what I want for this class. If Bubble blower ever comes back in a future update I’d like to see it on the Reeflux
@@JDSTACKALOTT I also 4 starred this weapon, it’s my second main after Stamper
I haven't four 🌟 the weapon itself (I'm very close though) but I personally find reeflux's kit very enjoyable, curling helps me throw my enemies off while also giving me a quick last resort escape while missiles help me locate and spread out the enemy team. Of course I agree with the consistency with the shots but overall I think the weapons is mid tier at least. Also I would love a Torp + Kraken or Fizzy + Storm on this thing 😂
Great video!! I agree with you mostly though I think Vanilla Carbon Roller is even worse than dynamo, since Dynamo counters short-range shooters while carbon can't do anything without its good kit, but I might be biased-
Nah I eat with carbon the shooters, dynamo is too slow and has a bad hitbox to play with, now I'm gonna say another bad roller, Vanilla big swing 💀
As a Brella class main, I will say...
Undercover is the simplest to use, but its stats are awful.
Brella is a bit more complex with how to use it, but with (some) better stats.
Tent is the hardest to use, but also the best one. (Hard bc it's slow, but its other stats are pretty good)
None of them have reliable hitboxes for attacking
Stupid ping makes shots go through the sheild
I'm pretty sure tent and splat can tank some specials with their sheilds (sometimes)
New Splat Brella kit is amazing
Sorrella Tent kit is amazing
I miss Kensa Undercover
Seeing someone say tetra duallies doesn't have good mobility is like saying gootuber is good because of its main weapon ☠️
Ah yes, we all love the S Blast with… Autobomb?
8:40 He really used Minecraft Steve's theme for the Ballpoint. Perfect XD
5:33 “Look Gary there I am!”
how do you do the view in spectator mode in the lobby?
You can’t it’s a mod
3:49 oh hey CJ hyperfresh.
As someone who uses L-3 D unironically, I am glad it’s not the *worst* semi auto.
I had to suffer with h-3 until the sizzle season
7 months later... I can't believe he actually predicted the new squiffer kit lmao
Not me maining sploosh-o-matic and having fun with it

LMAAAAAAAAOOOOOOO “but Zorconic, ProChara has already done this…”
At lower levels, bloob lobber is OP because no one knows how to dodge
Also the maps doesn't help to dodge
@@guillermocervisalmeron2209 True
did you say tetras "sure as hell dont have good mobility"?💀
“Vanilla wiper”
Procedes to show picture of Splatana Wiper Deco
Even tho I'm a .96 Gal main (not the Deco), I still love using the sprinkler and ink Vac since I like to play defensive
14:57 SINCE WHEN DOES S-BLAST HAVE AUTOBOMB!?!? !??
6:52 does he know?
14:59 S-BLAST with auto bomb? I don’t think so
6:09 trust me when you actually start putting a long of time and effort into learning dynamo, you're gonna start seeing lot less 4/15 kd's and a lot more 15/4's
You are so right! (I say this as a long-time Dynamo main.)
I wish you would’ve also as an extra put the classes in that same best mid and worst format…
The fact that I got 39 kills with dynamo on clam blitz to 2 deaths in s rank is just funny
This was excellent. Nice job man
when zorconic said that we have to give the edge to the vanilla wiper it showed the deco instead of the original
I’m a mini main who struggles with ballpoint ;-;. I do know how to backline though since I have some experience playing the e-liter (4 stars on it).
Best charger: Bamboo
Mid charger: Bamboo
Worst Charger: Bamboo
It is always interesting to see different opinions and approaches on the subject, well done
6:54 this aged well
1:58 If it was up to me, the Forge Splattershot Pro would have Suction Bomb and Zipcaster, and the third Splattershot Pro would have Splat Bomb and Booyah Bomb again. I think Nintendo just doesn't like giving Splatoon 3 weapons their exact Splatoon 2 kits.
The kinda kits were straight up called “limited edition” in the game. They won’t come back.
@@Linkathon I'd like to know what you mean by those said "limited edition" kits.
@@gregheffley5745 All kensa weapons were called “limited edition” by Sheldon when you’d buy one. Or when you unlocked them, either bought or unlocked in his dialogue.
@@Linkathon So what? I said "third Splattershot Pro," not "Kensa Splattershot Pro."
What would you have done here
10:34 The scott the woz sound effect made me laugh
why is auto bomb on s blast at 14:57 it has sprinkler?
Hush. He doesn’t want us to know.
6:38 I dunno Zorconic. Maybe if you actually jumped with squiffer like intended it would be good.
12:12 vanilla wiper huh
My favorite weapon. Viper>Deco
@@Linkathon XD why is there so meny mistakes in this vid XD
@@Ballistic2770 Idk, want to 1v1 now?

Honestly I think N-zap 85 definitely has a case of being better than Splash in the current more fast paced meta
Im so glad that my fav weapon is in the top for rapid shooters! But then the pain i felt when the splat roller was absolutely roasted
12:17 Now THERE's something I can agree with. The Splatana Wiper is my favorite splatana.
You probably like the deco because you spam missiles. No?
@@Linkathon Wrong. I only spam missiles because of the Reeflux-I like Ultra Stamp way better than Tenta Missiles. Also the Splatana Wiper Deco's sub is Beakon which forces me to use a lot of Sub Power Up. That PREVENTS me from having enough Special Charge up for it to be a viable spammer, especially during Splatfests when I'm forced to use Ability Doubler.
@@gregheffley5745 I see.
Yo Zorc I haven’t finished this video so far(almost done with the shooter section) but this video is an absolute BANGER so far
Some really quick things I noticed(one of which is in the description):
You said SSMU instead of SSBU when listing the game “Halland Dallarna” is from
When saying vanilla wiper is better in the stronger section, you zoomed in on deco wiper, not vanilla
Production quality has only gone up and up!! Love to see it
S blast has sprinkler! Not auto bomb???
I play a fair amount of weapons and ironically two of my favorites are clash and octobrush.
I however completely agree with their placement, I don’t bother to use specials at all with brush and it would benefit from reefslider, splashdown, or wail.
14:57 S-blast has sprinkler, not autobomb, just pointing this out
8:19 Not again!
7:05 The discord sound got me
How did you manage to get the s-blasts kit wrong? 14:58
He doesn’t want us to know.
(Primarily new players.)
Hey I use hydra Splating I say it’s a steal for money or in this case license
wait is the sound effect in the trasition for the sploosh one of the sound effects for lego city undercover
I never realized how little inkbrush users there are. It's a sacred art that only few can master for maximum efficiency and turf coverage. (Btw we mainly play turf war and our fingers are sore as hell when we finish a play session)
When hydra came in I was shocked bc I main hydra and I was offended but I can see why some of the kits aren't that good
as a squiffer main I will not stand for this squiffer slander /j. all your points were good, I'm praying for a better squiffer kit someday
@@gregheffley5745 Tetras just do everything better than the blue dapples.
Will you remake this video? Theres a few new weapons with side order n stuff!
As a undercover main. I'm waiting for a new kit or update that help it a LOT.
how r u manining undercover....
forge splattershot pro is my current main and it takes an insane amount of accuracy because the slightest movement of your joystick could cause you not to get the kill your trying to get
