Hey Mike, those things are called temporary for a reason, the reason is they don't last long, I have one just like yours and last year I had to put a wooden front in it, I have mine on a wooden base so it made it easier to put a door in it, I have another one that I will be putting a door in this year and maybe a new tarp over each one. A simple job can turn into a big job quickly. Happy New Year to you Nannie and family see you in the next one.

How's she goin'? Before Hurricane Fiona, this shelter was kind of protected from the winds and rain and sun by the trees. Great job getting the replacement door panel to fit, it looked like a lot of work. We have a number of temporary shelters but they are not as good as yours and they are very high maintenance. With ours, I often think it would be less effort to just build something permanent

They have disappointed me so often, these shelters. I guess they really are "Temporary." They start to deteriorate on the ship and then fade and crumble a bit more in the box on the shelf at Canadian Tire and really get on with it once you put them outdoors. LOL I usually get one good year and a few really bad years out of them. They're great if you really don't want to keep anything dry (and if you like something flapping in the wind out in the yard!) You did a fine job getting the new door on, though. Nice weather at the lake, Mike. Take care and have fun!

I hate temporary-yet everything seems to have temporary woven in to it.

How's she goin'? You ain't lying. And these shelters sure have a lot of 'temporary' woven into them!! I hope I can get the rest of the winter out of this one. Take 'er easy!!

How's she goin'? Before Hurricane Fiona went through I had a shelter in this spot. It was protected from the wind, rain and sun by the trees. But now it's wide open to the weather and these shelters don't handle that very well. It almost makes getting one a waste of time and money. Thanks for commenting. Take 'er easy!!
