RacerXIllustrated Use black electrical tape to protect the edges of the rims. It will last about 2-4 days of riding and is pretty much unnoticeable. Applying takes like 5 minutes. Just make sure you get electrical tape that's easily moldable and has a good glue on the back. After applying you might want to give it a little heat with a heatgun to help it bend around the edge and stick. Heck, when i was a kid i taped the whole rims black with it and people thought i'd bought new rims even when they were standing next to my bike! Don't ask me how long that took. :D They looked good for about 10h of riding.
Hey guys the jetting specs are on the webpage racerxonline.com/2013/07/03/racer-x-tested-250f-big-bore-shootout Jetting Specs: 172 Main Jet; 55 Leak Jet; 45 Pilot Jet; 2.5 turns on the Fuel screw Needle 3rd from top with Yamaha optional needle 5TA-14916-PS-00
I would rather have a reliable bike in a sport that's very demanding and harsh on the bike than have a bike that has more power but is unreliable. If you want more power that's what aftermarket parts are for.
