I haven’t watched the rest of this build yet, but I’m assuming you angled the neck for a tune o matic bridge. Did you put the angle in the neck heel or the pocket in the body? I’m slowly planning out an sg build and haven’t decided what makes the most sense to me yet
hi colbe.. did you got any issues on putting the frets on the walnut neck? i'm asking 'cos i'm gonna built a wanut neck for tele. did you put any glue on the slots of the frets ?
the Bloodwood and Maple I already had from doing the Van Halen bowl project, but the Claro Walnut was about $250. and it was enough to do the neck and body
wow, impressive work. can't wait to see how it turns out.
You are a master at your craft.
I admit I am really impressed with the use of the laser to determine the center line.
kids got skills! lots of confidence with the machines too, but PLEASE wear eye protection!
Can't wait for part 3!!!!!!
Cool story bro.

Does the heel of your neck follow the taper of the fretboard as you look at it from above? or do the sides go parallel after the fretboard ends?
So... it's finished or what?

I didn't have any issues, I did use just some ca-glue ( super glue) on the frets so if needed they will be easy to remove with some heat.
thank you very much...
How much did all of that wood cost?
