718 GT4/GTS/Spyder | Fabspeed RENNKRAFT Modular Sport Headers with High Flow Cats | Sound Comparison

    In this video, we compare the sound of a stock 2020 718 Cayman GT4 to the same car with our RENNKRAFT™ Modular Street and Racing Headers in the street configuration with our HJS 200 Cell high flow catalytic converters. The car still has the stock GPF filters and PSE cat-back muffler in place. These headers are a bolt-on modification for the 2020+ 718 Boxster/Cayman GT4, Spyder, and GTS. Basically any Cayman or Boxster that gets the 4.0l motor. You will NOT get a Check Engine Light with these catted headers. Hear the car rev, drive-by under hard acceleration, and also hear what it sounds like outside and inside the car under normal driving and hard acceleration. We also compare with PSE on and off.

    This is our headers with high-flow cats, NOTHING else. So stock GPF's and PSE muffler are still on the car.

    Fabspeed, sounds great. A suggestion for you to consider... when you do these videos it would be great if there was a recording of the tach and you could overlay the tach in the upper right corner of the video so the viewer can see what sound is corresponding with what rpms. No exhaust maker seems to be using this technique and I can’t figure why. I know there’s obvious sensitivity around showing the speedometer but the tach with the gear # blurred out should be workable no?

    @Fabspeed: if you “also” do the GPF Over-axle Link pipes do you pick up more power & additional sound???? I am planning to do both on my SPYDER!!!

      Hi Gordy, replacing the GPF's with our GPF delete pipes will definitely pick you up some more sound! However, power will be about the same, maybe +1 or 2 WHP.
