you made me play kal this week , almost level 60 with your guide (and some p2w hehe), but yeah the game is way nicer now with the ppl that doesnt spend euros
still lots of those who spend, but atleast now its playable for everyone
@@Vroomchik.gaming totally agree, they reworked a lot the archer class, now you have like insane AOEs since lvl 35 it almost makes AR stupid to use xD
Btw, from a point of view of a beginer, would you buy a set of g80 and a nice pimp bow, or wait with the rented gar that they give you till you can get some mid pimped g90? I saw that g90 is pretty expensive, but even a mid pimped weapon has more dmg than a fully pimped g80
@@DaniumMR to be fair, as you will need the gears later on for lvling fam chars, id get g80 set, which can be used later for lvling other chars+its much stronger compared to g70
I used to play kal in 2005 to 2008 seriously. Good times. Nice game. I already have My GOS lvl 76 , on Hanin. And sometimes i log on just to see how is it goin . Bit so many different buffs had being increased on game that make my char weak in compar to the others
Maybe it helps someone, if u get performance problems on AMD gpu, turn off smart access memory in amd control panel. It causes all the issues.

Thanks for this vid. I might just make a char to check some shops and run around... Been years since I played. I quit around just after the time 3th job came into effect. Gave the char away to friends.
Well if you enjoy kal, its still fun to play :) ofc its not perfect, but for some grinding and meeting cool guys is awesome
@Vroomchik.gaming I moved onto BDO as in essence it was exactly the same as kal, you do some grinding to get gear and go castle siege as your endgame with no level cap. A few things are unfortunately very different. In Kal, we used to know eachothers names. I played Naraeha (was that the 2nd server?) and Bango and they were merged. BDO feels like a single player online game without trading, 'chill time in towns (sitting around priest or whatever just chatting with people in general chat) and without player shops. You cannot help one another in BDO. We'll, partly. It's been years, Kal has a permanent memory ingrained, positively. I understand that the gameplay is a complete 180 now. But thinking back, I don't know how i managed to get to lv 50 the first time. That was a long haul.
@@joost1183 well it was long because people didnt know how to play or stat correctly, every1 grouped, now its more of solo...people who played solo and had better feeling of game back in the day-also lvled crazy fast

@@Strombahs Anything you like to play works. Like literally even MA can kill and level on its own. I wouldn't suggest maining buff cjb or trickster, but rest-anything works. For me right now funniest char to play/lvl is IG, strongest char-DS.....easiest for newcommers-attack shaman(as it has aoe life absorb)

@@Strombahs Well if you loved knight or mage, just play asc or gos :) for knights/thiefs/archers-full str...for mages/shamans full int :)
unfortunately now the admin only thinks about money, the game is pay to win, cw only plays the top ones who have a lot of money, unbalanced pvp, hannin this is a private that doesn't close, I prefer to play private a thousand times

you need to start doing more interesting stuff in real life :D so nostalgia would be hit from them not pc games :D
Best advice if you are a new player just quit.
You will never be able to properly play the game without paying at least 10-15k EUR, all the top players have also been absuing the game systems for years so even if you plan to throw ur credit card at the screen you will still be 0 in the game.

Simon on this point-i wont agree with you. If you want to be like rank 1 within a month with top tier gears,etc-yes then quit. If you want to have a good time, without a stress just killing mobs,chatting with great players,etc-its a good place to be. If we spoke about it 2 years ago-i'd agree with you. But now-if you got time you can get to top 100 pretty easily without money investment, as leveling is made very easy(as an example lvl 105-106 takes ~5hours of gameplay only). If we speak about gearing up-its doable as g90/g80/g70 are pretty common drops and they hold their value, as i returned to global ~30days ago, so far i farmed ~1.5kkk from 0geons, so i'd say its not too bad-considering fact i didn't actually farm geons like i could've if i wanted, so catching up to g100 set is doable in ~9month period. Other part is family-yeah this one is fucked up without alot of geons(still farmable but very long and hard process) and yeoiju-yeah, without them you wont be able to compete in PVP, but they are buyable-or even upgradable if you aren't lazy to do dailies, its not as hard to obtain XIV or so yeoiju for a decent price these days for people. So if you can invest ~200euros into game right now and start from 0, you can get into very very strong shape very fast, and you dont need 10-15k

PVE is a joke yes you can level fast in g90 but level means nothing.
PvP only thing that matters is legacy and yeoijus and sorry to say but 200 EUR is nothing.
To be able to even play PvPs without being 1 shot you will need to waste thousands.
And also levels and gear and everything else means nothing because people are abusing and hacking. So enjoy wasting money while never being even remotely close to the power levels of other abusers. You will realize it sooner or later it took me years.

Hey, well vod is mainly for 89+, you can start killing there at 89 at workers till like 92ish, then go to boars and after that knolls

I guess you're getting white screen? If so-its a bug for most w11 users, google some old kal installer from like 2012 or 2010 or w/e year, and just let it update-and it will work like charm :) for my friend this worked: www.fileplanet.com/archive/p-73738/Kal-Online-Game-Client/download

Your previously tip about white screen worked perfectly. Now my problem is terrible performance, pc is TIMES faster than 15 years ago but kal runs in 10 fps in town. Cpu and gpu utilization like 5 up to 10 percent.
Nvm i give up, running this shit properly is rocket sience. They dont care i shouldnt care too.
@@fearcd id say its because either fps uncapped at your kal...OR something is bad at your end :D didnt hear about such problem

I do have an RX 6600XT and AMD CPU and it runs smooth o_o... Try installing DX9 ? i know windows comes with some directX pre installed but it might need some Dlls which are corrupted OR missing ... and try also DXVK and try again

you can when there is an event for that, but it coasts jewels...like 800 or so...and they are like once a year

d2 teleport is in pub, doggebi standing next to tree(youll be ported down the stairs outside of d2) and you need to run up

:D well to be fair if we check how there were no updates in period from like 2012 to 2020/2021...yea..now they are doing lots of stuff-it brought back PVE atleast for lower lvls, but still PVP is shit, because of yeoiju

Man I didnt even know that magicial explosion is AOE and I'm a lvl 117 shaman xDDD maybe I should try that skill once im unbanned xDD

hey man i have 90 asc full g60 and g80 stick clean and vod access. i were playing gen, asc + 3x ma on infinite tower and nowe everything changed so please could you tell me how to farm some geons and what else can i do with that mage? have 3x ma lvl 80 and useless gen 87 xd. have vaga lvl 75 no 3rd yet and ic 64 lvl i need to know if mage is playable like solo lvling/farming geons easily or its better to open gos or another char? thanks
Hey, sooo all chars are good now, even the gen youre talking about :D sooo basically while having those MAs you can do a lot even with that gears. Basically best way to farm for you would be d5f7ish or f4 depends where you can kill easier and faster with your char-and farm coupons for which you can obtain g90....if you got some luck in you, you can farm up g90 set there within a 2 weeks period id say while getting some g70ish drops which ya can sell for extra geons. Other thing you can do if your IC has gears, farm in d2...for g60/g65/g55 drops and sell them....Vaga without jc is probably bit useless, if it had jc you could do FOE for elements farm and sale. Also do dailies, to get coupons on as much chars as you can to get coupons and later sell extra g90 parts you get for coupons. And resell is a good business :) Plus, fishing for speed meds,etc...to sell them-as sbwb almost doesn't drop, speed meds are selling fast

@@Vroomchik.gaming d5 you mean the Tower of priest? So f4 that would be la pt? What about f9 last platform? and is there some kind of happy hour for charging jewels like % extra? and where to read about it know something?
@@kamilukjanow6027 d5=tower of priest, there is no more such thing as la pt(but yes its same place where they have been)-skills work much differently, now storms are the way to go in killing oftenly. and they are very quick cd-so you can basically use them to kill at almost any lvl at good pace...speaking about HH for extra jewels, sadly nope :) about most things-power book in kal website and maybe join global kal discord, to check on news/updates which people speak about :)

Yes in some form-but its not like you get lvl 1>80 with leach in 5min) leveling on your own is as fast as leaching, even faster....as lots of level spots if you wanna level fast needs luring-and can not be done with macro
