I made my own years ago, creates a negative air pressure in the room you are messing up and prevents (well that's the idea) dust spreading round the house. Mine is on a 300mm flexi hose, I live out in the sticks so just blow it outside.
thousand pounds for this thing.. but I guess you'd make it back easy renting it out to builder crews. I hired one of those air scrubbers that's about 5 foot high and it cost me 150 for the weekend
Knock one up yourself lads ( and lassies 😂😂) Filters are readily available, as are fan assemblies ) Just change the pre filter and filter more often The very expensive hepa filter will last much longer Room needs a negative pressure, this will keep the rest of rooms much cleaner

would like to see this vs the new festool one.
Was about to ask how this compares to the festool. They do have one systainer compatible.
I guess festool filters will cost more than these ones

In industry the term scrubber is used more generally for equipment that removes a contaminant from a gas stream
