Got a air filtration in my garage/workshop mate for taking mdf and dust away with my dust extraction unit.
It works well, and like that unit, anything that's protects your lunggetst a 👍from me.
What i dont get mate is the price, you can get one like mine from £170 /£350.
When they are the same unit except for the hepa filter.
Enjoy the videos, keep them coming 👍👍

Hi Phil your ahead of the curve again I used to make HEPA filters [that last filter in the center] they are expensive to replace but as you have the other filters removing most contaminates should be good for a long time. its a wise buy dust as we know can course real problems for us also will assist with fumes when stain blocking zinnser products that hose attachment vents streight outside and you protect your work staff your a smart young man

I like it. Anything that can help reduce particles in the air has to be a winner. Dust is a decorators worst enemy.

I wonder if piping the unit to the outside would lengthen the lifetime of the internal filters - saving on replacement costs.

Hey Phil, sorry this is a different question. I tried finding a way to message on Facebook but no luck… I’ve got a customer who wants a textured ceiling (the rough sand finish) but polycell have discontinued their course ceiling paint. I was thinking using a high build masonry but it’s ridiculously expensive for one little ceiling! Did you you have any advice? Should I buy the silica sand and mix it with emulsion? Do you have any experience of this? Really appreciate it mate! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Oh, not sure. How about Sandtex texture masonry paint?

@@ProfessionalPainterDecorator cheers Phil! That was my other thought, just wondering if the sand content would be enough to give a thick enough texture! 🫣 struggling 😫

I use one of those extractor fans with pipe, pain in the arse really and noisy… this would be a better purchase one day, I do think they are over priced.

A vacuum cleaner does the same thing...I let the Henry vac run while I'm in a dusty environment, does the same job , its got Hepa filtration. Dusty air in ,bag holds the dust , clean air out.
It's a fraction of the cost and it hoovers up too if I want.

It's a unit you should run with a proper extractor imo.
I got a similar unit that takes the wood dust away that's the extractor misses in my garage/workshop.

I have one and yes it does it cleans the air. I recommend it only for working purposes.
The max vac 650 is an amazing machine. When I'm spraying acrylic it does its job.
