Touhou is the most special thing even in the world. Even it added in Guinness World Records as the *Most prolific fan-made shooter series* . Touhou fandoms are insanely big especially in Japan. You can do the hell you want, with Touhou characters and music or any related to Touhou, except you not allowed to copy his games data. Most of Touhou games in consoles are fanmade and only 1 official Touhou game. Touhou fandoms in Japan really insane. Whenever Zun officially released his game, less than 24 hours after the official release, some Touhou music artist already made a remixes.
The attention to detail that MinusT put in is actually pretty extraordinary such as the expressions and the machinery. Looking forward to the next video, something to note is that the next boss, Koishi, is one of the most tragic characters in the Touhou universe. If you rewatch the video, Koishi is actually behind Nitori looking over her shoulder as she is supporting Marisa.
6:20 no, shes a... Atomreactor-bird-god..? - Difficult to explain. Shes crazy strong though. (hence why 4 people need to work together against her in this animation.) But, since you asked if shes a tengu, there are 3 other characters who are tengus. a wolf one and two crow ones.
Ah, Touhou 11 Subterranean Animism. My personal favourite~ Gist of narrative: Evil Spirits rise from Old Hell below Gensokyo which poses threat to Human and Youkai alike. So you go down there to check on people in charge of keeping spirits locked away. Turns out Spirits were sent upwards on purpose to draw attention of powerful Youkai so that they come down and stop a larger threat of Hell Raven Utsuho Reiuji that fused with Sun Crow Yatagarasu and now planning to make a new Hell out of surface. Instead of powerful Youkai though, a poweful Human came, backed by Youkai from the surface. There are things that lead to this and things that were led to by this, but those belong to other Touhou games.
Introducing best girl, Utsuho and best song, Solar Sect of Mystic Wisdom: Nuclear Fusion! Don’t mind her, she’s just some birdbrain who only ate the sun Goddess and is too dumb to properly use her abilities to their fullest, I guess she’s a little powerful sometimes. Oh yeah, she also has a concrete boot. Why? I don’t freakin’ know, she’s just really damn cool, so why not?
Her concrete boot is a reference to the Elephant’s Foot of Chernobyl, an object made from melted concrete mixed with the reactor itself and the nuclear fuel inside during that disaster.
Ive been looking so much to this. As a side note: Touhou has an unexpected amount of deep lore, considering at a first glance it looks like "the crazy japanese game where all the characters are girls", i DO recommend to give the manga "silent sinner in blue" (official) a chance and even do a reaction video, nobody has done it before and is really good, giving a lot of insight to the games and the characters; characters that you have seen already (yuyuko, yukari and remilia) so you will not be as lost.
Hell yeah the touhou bougetsushou series (silent sinner in blue, cage in lunatic runagate and inaba of the moon and inaba of the earth) is a good start. But it's recommended to have at least experienced touhou 7 and 8 before (including the extra stages), because the characters in those games play a very big role in it. But I guess just checking some character bioses on touhou wiki should be enough.
Ah, from what I have learned from everyone so far does it seem surprisingly deep, I never expected a Bullet Hell game to have so much lore. Its fun to see and makes me curious to see more of them, and definitely gonna read the manga too! : D
Reimu is even more broken than that, she basically just has protagonist privileges, as a human she would basically get killed in one shot, so canonically... she never gets hit.
@@LanokirX Pretty much, one of her dodging skill is "flying above reality" which means sometimes you will never know what direction she is flying at.Good for escaping tight spaces out.
It's heerreeeeeee. Someone else will probably tell you in detail about the characters involved, but basically, Okuu is a 'pet' to Satori Komeiji (4:28). Okuu is a Hell Raven, and because of literally swallowing a 'god' (hidden in fire), Okuu has the power to manipulate nuclear fusion, this is not really seen in danmaku battles, but in an actual fight, she's pretty darn powerful. Also, the character that showed up at 15:16 is called Rin Kaenbyou, another pet to Satori Komeiji, and is a Kasha, a demon with a feline form, she is a friend of Okuu, as they are often together due to their occupations. Also, her occupation is... uhm... Well... I will just quote a line from the Touhou wiki... "Utsuho's job is to manage the temperature inside the Hell of Blazing Fires, by either opening the skylight above the Hell of Blazing Fires's courtyard to lower the temperature, or feeding the fires with the corpses carried by Orin." 'Corpses'
Wooo : D And damn, ability to manipulate nuclear fusion is freaking bonkers ovo These characters are all so crazy, love it xD And thanks for explaining a bit about them Novus! c: Wow, that is a... hot job. o_o And corpses? Damn D:
I will tell you about the characters supporting Marisa: Alice Margatroid; Former human and puppeteer youkai. Not very good at conversation but enjoys magic research. Abilities: Magic and Doll Puppeteering Patchouli Knowledge; Librarian and subservient of Remilia Scarlet Always tired and manages the library at remilias mansion. Marisa stole a spell from her (Love sign "Non Directional Laser") Abilities: Elementalist Magic Nitori Kawashiro; Kappa and Inventor A shy inventor that has pride in her ability. Values profit (money) as much as her ambition. Likes cucumbers Abilities: Technology and water manipulation
In Subterranean Animism, Reimu and Marisa travel underground to solve an incident and are assisted by three characters each, represented by separate shot types. We’ve skipped from Touhou 7 to Touhou 11. There are characters who haven’t been featured in these fights before. minusT has them all work together in this video with a lot of snazzy new technology. Yes, Touhou has oni. There are two known oni in the series so far and pretty much all youkai are based off of some myth. To be honest, I’ve always thought Ibaraki and Benienma would fit perfectly into a Touhou game since their character designs are similar. Touhou 11 is one of the more difficult games. Rin (catgirl) is really hard to deal with. Utsuho throws a ton of mini suns at you, and I think they’re the largest bullet in the series to date. Definitely not for beginners. Subterranean Animism is the one Touhou game Undertale seems to have taken the most inspiration from. Youkai living underground, heavy industrialization of the underground for power, a spider girl boss, the Palace of Earth Spirits (4:23) and Undertale’s Palace looking pretty similar, etc.
You don't need to wish for one of those. en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Kasen_Ibaraki Been around since 2010, has been in two fighting games so far, and may be connected to the incident of the newest game.
@@LilyKazami I knew about Kasen, but didn't know she was confirmed to be an oni. Got busy and haven't been keeping up with Touhou recently. The last one I played was LoLK, didn't play ULiL since HM felt weird and ULiL seemed like it was gonna be the Hisoutensoku of HM.
I like that, snazzy new technology. : D Just amazing how MinusT made this work! And sweet, onis! Like that Touhou use many myths and legends like that in the game, makes me curious bout them. Also largest bullet? I wanna see that now! : D
Awesome reaction. I'm sure you can see why we've been pressing you to watch this one and Brambly Boundaries. And if you want my personal opinion, Brambly Boundaries is even better. Anyway, origin talk. This particular video was based on the eleventh Touhou game, Subterranean Animism (which also happens to be my personal favourite). Instead of just cutting to the final/extra boss like the previous animations did, it shows a quick animation for each of the game's five stage bosses, before finally getting to the final boss. And now some character rundowns in order of appearance. At the very start you see both Marisa Kirisame and Alice Margatroid, both of which you have already met before. Afterwards, you see Patchouli Knowledge (AKA Patchy), who is a Youkai Magician and Remilia's close friend. She was the stage 4 boss of Touhou 6. Afterwards you see Nitori Kawashiro. She is a Kappa, and is technologically advanced compared to the other characters in the series. She was the stage 3 boss of Touhou 10. The three of them; Alice, Patchy, and Nitori are all potential partners you can choose to have when playing Touhou 11 as Marisa. Onto the bosses. First appears Yamame Kurodani. She's just some random Spider Youkai. Then comes Parsee Mizuhashi. She is a Bridge-Keeper who is cursed with Jealousy. She's practically incapable of feeling anything else. Afterwards is Yuugi Hoshigumi. An Oni and one of the Four Devas of the Mountain. Next is Satori Komeiji. She is a Satori (this isn't the only case where a character is named after their species. It's actually a Japanese pun that goes over our heads when translated), which is a mind-reading Youkai, and she is the master of the Palace of Earth Spirits. Afterwards you see Rin Kaenbyou (more commonly referred to as Orin). She is a Hell Cat and one of Satori's pets, who manage the Hell of Blazing Fires. And lastly is the big one. Utsuho Reiuji (AKA Okuu). She is a Hell Raven who is another of Satori's pets, and was given the power of Yatagarasu, the Sun God, by another god in the series (specifically Kanako Yasaka, who you have not met yet) shortly before the events of the game. The events of Subterranean Animism happened because Okuu was on a bit of a rampage trying to test out this new power. If left unchecked, she would have gone up to the surface and caused havoc. But that's enough explanation for now. I'm sure other comments would have left more in-depth explanations if you want to know more. Looking forward to Brambly Boundaries.
Yeah, no wonder, this was freaking amazing! And cant wait to see Brambly Boundaries as well! : D That is pretty cool, even more for people that know the game and the characters, to see them pop up like that, a nice little thing! I like the idea of the partners, and damn a kappa, love that! : D And that is some pretty cool bosses, makes me wanna try out the game and see them there too! Definitely need to do that soon! Feel sad for Parsee though, only feeling jealousy. :c Okuu seems pretty damn bonkers for sure rofl, power of hell and nuclear, what can go wrong? xD Thank you for the comment Lasatar! Appreciate you taking time to write things down! c:
I'm late to the party, but did no one else here notice that in her penultimate attack, Utsuho formed a tokamak which is used in nuclear power generation? I thought that was clever.
After watching the entire video: Yes, MinusT is a genius! And brambly boundaries is even better! (IMO) Good reaction as always, so glad you started with these videos >.
Woya! : D Haha honestly dont have a real problem with the beard, I mostly wish it could grow thick instead xDD And thank you, MinusT is truly a genius damn o_o And Brambly Boundaries is even better? Gosh damn, cant wait to see that! >u
Excellent. Now watch Brambly Boundaries and wait in anxious anticipation for IN: RvM with the rest of us. Lol. Anyways, basics of the basics. First thing to know, everything is nonlethal. In Gensokyo, the magical land that Touhou is set in, all fights are conducted via Danmaku, which can be summed up as "patterns of magical bullets that you are supposed to make look as pretty as possible". The reason that everything is nonlethal are the Spellcard Rules, a set a magical laws added to Gensokyo's spacetime. Attacks CAN be lethal, yes, but once two opponents start a Danmaku Match, it's all dumbed down in terms of damage. This is why Marisa's Master Spark can blow up a mountain, but just knock down Utsuho. Second, Danmaku itself. There are two main forms of Danmaku, and who is using them depends on who the challenger is. The challenger can use Freestyle and one, maybe two Melee Spellcards, while the challenged can use all of their Bullet Spellcards, but not Freestyle. Freestyle is just that, freely shooting magic bullets directly at the opponent, not bothering with patterns. Spellcards are more complicated. Melee Spellcards tend to be related to the user's "special ability". Marisa for example, has the mini-hakkero, which she uses to launch her Master Spark, and turn her broom into a jet. Sakuya(the silver maid from the other video) has timestop. Bullet Spellcards are premade bullet patterns that can also incorporate a special ability. In this video, we see Marisa using Freestyle(plus some help from Alice, the Kappa, and Patchy) and Spellcards, while Utsuho is exclusively using Spellcards, the giant patterns of bullets. Third, Danmaku is as fair as fair can get. Danmaku isn't just a bloodless alternative to combat, it's specifically designed to allow anyone to win against anyone else. All Spellcards MUST have at least one way through their bullets, MUST dispell after 30 seconds for complex ones and 100 seconds for simple ones, and MUST dispell if the user has been hit enough times by the opponent. This way, an ordinary magician like Marisa can go up against Utsuho, who is basically a god of nuclear fusion. If a Spellcard is utterly inescapable, then it isn't Danmaku anymore. Granted, that by no means suggests that you'll have an EASY time beating or just surviving against these Spellcards, it just means that your chances aren't zero. Fourth, Lives and Bombs. Lives are a little complex, but it's essentially how much either duelist can get hit before the match is concluded. A challenger has varying lives, but generally more than 3 to start, and less than 10 at max. A challenger can earn more lives by doing especially well against an opponent's Spellcards, such as not losing a life to it or not needing to use a bomb or their own Spellcards. A challenger will lose a life if they are hit by a single bullet, what size and type doesn't matter. The challenged has as many lives as they have Spellcards. They lose a life when a Spellcard is dispelled, either by the timer or by force. Bombs are just that, bombs. They can be used by the challenger to knock away all the bullets near them to get breathing room. I think that's everything you need to know to have a basic understanding of what these fights are about.
Thank you! Cant wait to watch Brambly Boundaries either : D Ohhh, thanks for the explanation of Danmaku, Nathaniel! Was interesting to read and get more understand of it. : o I like the concept and idea of it, that instead using powers to kill, that they make pretty lights to strike each other! c:
@@LanokirX their is one thing to mention, while it's true that the ones fighting won't be in a death battle, their surroundings are not safe. So if you are not in the battle, stay away or be prepared to get hurt. Also clothes do get torn and burnt. That part was forgotten.
This video is based on Touhou 11. What happened is utsuho also known as okuu was tricked into eating the god yatagarassu, the 3 legged crow known as the black sun. She thus gained the power of the sun and nucular fusion. She runs the nucular reactor in old hell which is the setting. Yes that is hell. Anyway okuu got power hungry and sensing that the cat girl you saw, orin, sent evil spirits up a gyser to get the surface's attention, hence why Marissa is there. This is also one of the few times where it is high stakes in the battle because okuu wants to literally use her powers to nuke their home. Okuu is a hell raven btw.
cool, love watchin people get a bit into the touhou game series. With the touhou powers, its good to keep in mind that some of these powers are tightly related to mythology. So while it is cool to have OP characters from time to time, it makes more sense thinking of the characters as aspects of how nature functions in a mythological land, sort of like the Greek gods. Theyre humanoid characters that embody how the world works in a way. (Life, death, fate, borders, animals, sound, emotions etc etc...)
Ah, been really interesting to get into the series! c: And that make sense if thinking like that yea oco Still some really insane powers taking form like that! : O Like it though!
If you watch closely, you'll able to notice glimpse or shadow of next antagonist here and there spread throughout the entire video yet no one notices her. I'm not sure you remember my last comment on humans vs yukari, but this shows her ability of controlling unconsciousness. She is just a girl who wants to play, and as everyone knows children can pull off anything if they want something really badly. So don't be too dumbfounded on her actions and behaviours in the next video! :D
Ah really? I didnt notice it cause there was so much else to watch! Really mindblowing! xD Gosh, sounds like it will be scary ovo A child with great power and no limits, are dangerous as heck ovo
As has been mentioned many times, an awful lot of Touhou characters are based from Japanese mythology, and some times it even overlaps with other series. For instance the girl at 4:00 is from the same basis as Fate's Kiyohime. As well there are at least four known oni in the series, and yes, that's one of them in 4:15. And the big boss of this video combines modern stories of nuclear power with legends about Hell and the sun god Yatagarasu. A lot of the more specific details are explained by other comments so I won't get too in depth on that. But it's definitely worth saying that when ZUN makes his characters, he puts in a bunch of work not only to the fights and the music, but also the designs and inspirations as well. He may not be the best at the actual art, but the fan base makes up for that in spades. And if you're looking for a tengu, you'll see one soon enough!
Yatagarasu is not a sun god though That title befalls Amaterasu, Goddess of the Sun and the Universe Yatagarasu is literally a "Crow God" and works as a messager of the Heavens
@@potatoesthelord Amaterasu is indeed the high sun god of Shinto, and Yatagarasu was merely one of her servants. But the three-legged crow was also revered as a sun god on its own in China. The Chinese version of Yatagarasu is also linked to the legend of Houyi, which is referenced by Okuu's spell card name "Ten Evil Stars." And this same legend also provided the basis for the final boss character of LoLK.
Ohh, that is pretty cool! A Touhou Kiyohime, pretty neat stuff that! : D And like onis, happy they are in the game! Pretty amazed how big the fanbase is, that is cool. c: And cant wait to see the tengu!
@@LanokirX To be fair Parsee and Kiyo are not the same, only derived from the same myths of Hashihime. But from traditional religion to modern monsters, Touhou's got em all. :D
@@LilyKazami In that case you are reffering to Sanzuwu, not Yatagarasu They might be similar, but not the same thing Even then the Sanzuwu is not a deity, the chinese deity of the sun is Xihe Though you are right to mention Houyi, since he shot down the ten solar crows and saved the world I guess I am just nitpicking at this point
Touhou Chireiden or Subterranean Animism, is the 11th game in the touhou project series. It’s one or the most hellish games I’ve seen and played. Quite fitting since the heroine actually goes to hell. Or the remains of it anyways.
Utsuho is a crow living in hell. And she has YATAGARASU in her body. YATAGARASU is a large crow with three legs that appears in Japanese mythology. It is equated with the sun god. Therefore, she will use nuclear fusion to attack.
Hi again! Well it's time to tell you about characters and game. You think this game(Touhou 11 Subterranean Animism) Hard? Actually, yeah, this game is hardest ( Touhou 15 LoLK is Hard too, but for me this game is harder). Well, there some information about characters: Marisa's group: Alice Margatroid: There nothing more about her to say, but I'm really glad, that you still remember her(Well I think I forgot to tell you, that she is magician and one of the closest friends of Marisa). Patchouli Knowledge(purple one) She is magician, which can use very powerfull elemental magic(Moon, fire, water, nature, earth, metal, sun). Her first appearence was in Touhou 6 EoSD as fourth boss. She is more, than 100 years old and she lives in The Great Library(not going there everyday, but literally lives there)in SDM. Marisa very often steals her books(or as Marisa says: I'm not stealing, I'm just borrowing them until I die. You will outlive me anyway, so you can take them back after I die), but despite that they still in good relationship. Nitori Kawashiro She is a kappa, which can control water. Her first appereance was in Touhou 10 Mountain Of Faith as third boss. From this incident they become friends (Marisa and Nitori). As all kappas in Touhou she is very smart and have a bunch of inventions(they can built even a mecha). Also she is very greedy, so she will try to make many of literally everything.
Ah, seeing this Im not surprised if its the hardest game, can imagine it being really bonkers ovo And love the characters for sure, so many unique ones! Thanks for sharing about them! Like the greedy kappa rofl xD
Hi! I split this comment in two, because if I didn't this comment would be too long. Opponents: Yamame Kurodani(first one in Brown clothes) is earth spider, which have power to control and spread diseases. She is first boss in Th 11. This is the only game, where she talks, so I think, when you will play this game, you can read her dialoge yourself. Parsee Mizuhashi(second one)is youkai which can control jealousy. She is second boss in Th 11. She has her job - guard the bridge, but because of that she was more and more jealous of everyone, who past the bridge, so she became youkai of jealousy. Her jealousy sometimes can be absurd, because even if she can't be jealous about you, she will be jealous, that you don't feel jealousy about her. Yuugi Hoshiguma(Oni)- Yeah you right, she is oni! Well there 4 of them( Four Devas of Youkai Mountain (one of them still unknown, though...)) , but I will tell about others too later. Yuugi is strongest of them(only physically, in magic power she isn't that strong(I think because of that you can't meet her in any Touhou fighting games). She is third boss in Th 11. Also she respect only People, that have strong body and spirit. In the game she wasn't fighting serious, because she didn't drop a single drop of sake, while fighting. Satori Komeiji(one with third eye)- is satori(like one of the species of youkai). She is fourth boss in Th 11. She has a Third Eye, so with this she can read minds of others. This is a very strong and scary ability, because of her spell, which can recollect bad memories. She is very strong, so she can make almost every spell, so she can make your life hell, because she will use every spell, that caused to you trouble in your life(she was going easy on Reimu and Marisa, because she use only 3 spells(They beated hundreds many Youkai, so I think, that if she was serious this would be their ,,special hell")). Also she didn't use any of her own spells(beside reccolection one), so we don't know much about her own power. Also she is ruler of former hell(Touhou 11 is taking place in former hell). Orin(Rin) Kaenbyou(cat girl) is kasha living in the Hell of Blazing Fires. She is 5th boss in Th 11. Her ability is manipulate spirits(mostly vengeful ones). She is one of the pets of Satori and her job is carry away corpses to burn them as fuel of the Hell of Blazing Fires. She is very cheerful and energetic. Her friend Utsuho wanted to destroy the surface with her new power(I'll talk about it later), so she started to send spirits to the surface as a bait for heroes. When main antagonist arrived, she challenged them, partly because she wanted their corpse, but mostly because she wanted to test their strange to see of they would be able to stop Utsuho for her. Utsuho Reiuji - Hell crow, that obtained power Sun(nuclear fusion happens on sun every second), because of Kanako(well I will tell you about her, when you'll Play Th 10 MoF), which fed Yataragasu (God of Sun) to her to obtain power of nuclear fusion. But Utsuho was too stupid and forgot about Kanako, so because of fact, that her owner(Utsuho is other Satori's Pet) Satori and her Sister Koishi(next video about her) was hated by humans so much, that they went to hell(now it's former hell, but btw) on their free will, she is decided to destroy the surface with her New powers, so Satori and Koishi can enjoy the surface(well pretty fucked up logic, I know), and of course it was in secret of Satori(as a surprise). She is final boss in Th 11, and main fight in video was against her. Well I guess it's all! I hope it'll help you!
Ohh, thanks Frezzing! Dont mind that you split it into two, Im just glad to read about the characters, and seriously thank you so much for taking time to write down about them! ovo Utsuho seem really bonkers gosh, makes me curious about the game for sure xD

That for sure, it's crazy how good it is! ovo
And cant wait for next video either! So curious about it! : D
Really? Need to check on that ovo
6:20 no, shes a... Atomreactor-bird-god..? - Difficult to explain. Shes crazy strong though. (hence why 4 people need to work together against her in this animation.)
But, since you asked if shes a tengu, there are 3 other characters who are tengus. a wolf one and two crow ones.
Atomic bird god sounds good to me xD
Yea, saw the Tengu later : DD
@@LanokirX Yup, one of the three tengus was the crow-girl with the camera in brambly boundaries ^^
Actually four if we count Hatate.
Ah, Touhou 11 Subterranean Animism. My personal favourite~
Gist of narrative: Evil Spirits rise from Old Hell below Gensokyo which poses threat to Human and Youkai alike.
StarlightFromAbyss
*Clarification: the human would be either Reimu or Marisa with the help of one of 6 Youkai.
For a 2D fanimation, Marisa vs Yukari is a great hand-drawn video.
For martial arts fanimation, I would recommend Burning Meiling
Ohh? Gonna try to take a look at them too, really interested in them. : D
Hahaha, birdbrain with so much power, scary times indeed xD And well when you have such power, concrete boots might be for fun rofl xD
Dang, well, she is sneaky to avoid damage? : D
@@LanokirX Pretty much, one of her dodging skill is "flying above reality" which means sometimes you will never know what direction she is flying at.Good for escaping tight spaces out.
The oni:Yuugi Hoshima aka Yugi the strong. The mind reader:Satori Komejii. Aka satori can read minds with her open 3rd eye.
"Utsuho's job is to manage the temperature inside the Hell of Blazing Fires, by either opening the skylight above the Hell of Blazing Fires's courtyard to lower the temperature, or feeding the fires with the corpses carried by Orin."
'Corpses'
Wooo : D
And damn, ability to manipulate nuclear fusion is freaking bonkers ovo These characters are all so crazy, love it xD And thanks for explaining a bit about them Novus! c:
Wow, that is a... hot job. o_o And corpses? Damn D:
Okuu -> Utsuho Reiuji*
I am too used to using the nicknames because of the fandom, derp.
I will tell you about the characters supporting Marisa:
Alice Margatroid; Former human and puppeteer youkai.
Not very good at conversation but enjoys magic research.
Abilities: Magic and Doll Puppeteering
Patchouli Knowledge; Librarian and subservient of Remilia Scarlet
Always tired and manages the library at remilias mansion. Marisa stole a spell from her (Love sign "Non Directional Laser")
Abilities: Elementalist Magic
Nitori Kawashiro; Kappa and Inventor
A shy inventor that has pride in her ability. Values profit (money) as much as her ambition. Likes cucumbers
Abilities: Technology and water manipulation
Ohh, that is pretty cool. : o Thanks for explaining about them!
And Kappa, sweet! xD
That is pretty cool, even more for people that know the game and the characters, to see them pop up like that, a nice little thing!
I like the idea of the partners, and damn a kappa, love that! : D And that is some pretty cool bosses, makes me wanna try out the game and see them there too! Definitely need to do that soon! Feel sad for Parsee though, only feeling jealousy. :c
Okuu seems pretty damn bonkers for sure rofl, power of hell and nuclear, what can go wrong? xD
Thank you for the comment Lasatar! Appreciate you taking time to write things down! c:
LanokirX *”what can go wrong?”*
This entire video you reacted to is what went wrong.
Which I mean, was imminent Nuclear Winter.
I'm late to the party, but did no one else here notice that in her penultimate attack, Utsuho formed a tokamak which is used in nuclear power generation? I thought that was clever.
its so bright that it made my eyes cracked

I like that explanation.
Thank you! Cant wait to watch Brambly Boundaries either : D
Ohhh, thanks for the explanation of Danmaku, Nathaniel!
Ah, been really interesting to get into the series! c:
And that make sense if thinking like that yea oco Still some really insane powers taking form like that!
Really mindblowing! xD
Gosh, sounds like it will be scary ovo A child with great power and no limits, are dangerous as heck ovo
Yatagarasu is not a sun god though
That title befalls Amaterasu, Goddess of the Sun and the Universe
Yatagarasu is literally a "Crow God" and works as a messager of the Heavens
@@potatoesthelord Amaterasu is indeed the high sun god of Shinto, and Yatagarasu was merely one of her servants. But the three-legged crow was also revered as a sun god on its own in China. The Chinese version of Yatagarasu is also linked to the legend of Houyi, which is referenced by Okuu's spell card name "Ten Evil Stars." And this same legend also provided the basis for the final boss character of LoLK.
Ohh, that is pretty cool! A Touhou Kiyohime, pretty neat stuff that! : D And like onis, happy they are in the game! Pretty amazed how big the fanbase is, that is cool. c:
And cant wait to see the tengu!
@@LanokirX To be fair Parsee and Kiyo are not the same, only derived from the same myths of Hashihime. But from traditional religion to modern monsters, Touhou's got em all. :D
@@LilyKazami In that case you are reffering to Sanzuwu, not Yatagarasu
They might be similar, but not the same thing
Even then the Sanzuwu is not a deity, the chinese deity of the sun is Xihe
Though you are right to mention Houyi, since he shot down the ten solar crows and saved the world
I guess I am just nitpicking at this point
Touhou Chireiden or Subterranean Animism, is the 11th game in the touhou project series. It’s one or the most hellish games I’ve seen and played. Quite fitting since the heroine actually goes to hell. Or the remains of it anyways.

Hi again! Well it's time to tell you about characters and game. You think this game(Touhou 11 Subterranean Animism) Hard? Actually, yeah, this game is hardest ( Touhou 15 LoLK is Hard too, but for me this game is harder). Well, there some information about characters:
Marisa's group:
Alice Margatroid: There nothing more about her to say, but I'm really glad, that you still remember her(Well I think I forgot to tell you, that she is magician and one of the closest friends of Marisa).
Patchouli Knowledge(purple one) She is magician, which can use very powerfull elemental magic(Moon, fire, water, nature, earth, metal, sun). Her first appearence was in Touhou 6 EoSD
as fourth boss.
Ah, seeing this Im not surprised if its the hardest game, can imagine it being really bonkers ovo
And love the characters for sure, so many unique ones! Thanks for sharing about them! Like the greedy kappa rofl xD

EZ For Me In Lunatic
But Hard For Me In EZ Mode
Hi! I split this comment in two, because if I didn't this comment would be too long.
Opponents:
Yamame Kurodani(first one in Brown clothes) is earth spider, which have power to control and spread diseases.
Her jealousy sometimes can be absurd, because even if she can't be jealous about you, she will be jealous, that you don't feel jealousy
about her.
Dont mind that you split it into two, Im just glad to read about the characters, and seriously thank you so much for taking time to write down about them! ovo
Utsuho seem really bonkers gosh, makes me curious about the game for sure xD
