i found the Splinter and Shredder 2 pack once at walmart a little over a month ago. that was the only thing I found until last week and finally got my 4 turtles. I still need this pack though
Raz, I almost got these but I opted for toxie. They were both around the same price. I don’t care for neca but I want this set. Hopefully I find it for $60 again. Ps amazon “generic” sales neca 6” disguise. Just coat & hat. But $38 for 1 set
Toxie’s pretty awesome too. I picked up both the regular and glow in the dark one. I hope we get more crusaders this year. I always liked the mutant dog and nose zone.

I’m sure it’ll fit the movie line tmnt. From neca. But sounds better then airway express. This Casey & Ralph combo starts @ $66 plus shipping. From China
@@vadoraid2517 Shop4megastore isn't bootlegs from what I can tell. Anything from China typically is, or at least backdoor neca releases, aka no QC at all (even if we can all admit that neca QC is crap from the get go).

lol. only so many characters from movies 1 and 2 and thats it. I see you try to forget the 3rd movie haha. I wouldnt mind some figures from the 3rd movie honestly... samurai turtles, the original 4 samurai guys in their armor, not underwear lol, April, Mitsu, the Lord Norinaga, Walker.. but I can understand if they dont because people wished that movie wasnt made
If they made the samurai turtles I’d buy them. I’d get the second April too. I think I was just really disappointed when I was a kid, it may kind of be like back to the future for me. The second movie in both series is very off the wall and introduces crazy things, but then the third one takes it back in time and slows everything down. I use to be bored by Turtles 3 as a kid. I haven’t watched it since way back when is one of these days I need to watch it again just to see it. I’m sure toys from the movie would still sell. People complain about 3 a lot, but every Neca turtle collector would buy them I guarantee haha. They’d never live knowing they didn’t complete the line haha.
I have a pseudo similar story. So I never had any aspirations of actually finding this set at any Walmart here. It's just not that kinda location where I'd find stuff like this. So I just paid scalper prices and got it off eBay. Now with Super Shredder, actually put forth some effort trying to look for it (call me crazy). No luck, but then ordered two when it went up for pre-order (increasingly my chances of getting a decent copy). So literally less than a week after I did that, I'm strolling through electronics, and there's two Super Shredder's on the pegs. I just had to get the best one outta the two. Now that I got my order from NECA last week, I now have two to get rid of lol.
Haha, better safe than sorry right? It was probably wise to pick out something you could actually see in case the ones you get in the mail have QC issues. You can probably at least trade them for new releases or sell them if you have to.
24:48 - 🤣 yeah, you're a geek. How _would_ you know sports? About the extent of my sports knowledge goes is when I was into the trading cards as a kid. Oh, and I started taking martial arts in '88 cause of Ninja Turtles. I really wanted those weapons. So that's like a sport for sure. With us geeky types that play with our dollies, it's amazing we actually procreate. Like I have kids too, and it's still strikes me as being very surreal, cause I'm still like a kid in a lot of ways.
Hahaha, Sometimes the trickiest thing about having kids is keeping their toys separate from yours haha. My son was into skylanders so I waited until after I bought him the whole set and then it was like I was finally free to buy myself a set of them. I went out for karate too. Karate/martial arts people must have been writing in to mirage daily thanking them for expanding their business so rapidly in the 80s/90s. We all did it haha. someone I knew had real nunchucks. It was the most amazing thing at the time.
I'm not sure about there being any differences between these and the initial batch, but I definitely don't have any issues with mine. I do have some fascinating information when it comes to NECA re-releases. I had no idea until last year how drastically reissued figures can change. One example with Turtles stuff is the second GameStop releases of the brothers were very different than the initial ones. There seemed to be some mold degradation, cause the detailing wasn't as sharp. On the plus side, those had actual glossy realistic lookin' eyes, unlike the SDCC and initial GameStop release. I've seen enough copies in-hand of all three of those releases, so it definitely wasn't a fluke. And the list goes on with reissued differences (variants dare I say?), like with some of my horror figures and such.
Was these much difference from the sdcc cartoon turtles to the initial target wave? I never picked up the turtles at Target. I’m going to try and hunt down the four pack disguised turtles when that comes out. I think some articulation is supposed to have been redone too. Hopefully the hips.
