Asus routers usually have dynamic dns, which allows you to access using a domain name instead of an IP. So you can access the router remotely even if it has a dynamic IP. I don't know if this one has ddns but there's a big probability that it has. For security reasons you shouldn't enable access from WAN side. A better way to access the router from the WAN side is to enable the VPN, connect to your private network, and access the router from there.

Go with Mercusys AX3000 router and WD Blue SN570 Gen 3 SSD. I have these both item using it since October 2020. They are bang for buck.
