I Love how awkward Chara’s act options are during this fight compared to pacifist they aren’t as confident about acting The evacuation route is so interesting it’s like they are trying to seek redemption after killing everyone in the ruins except Asgore
When Chara’s “fake acts” become regular chara starts to feel some emotions and is less awkward. The save point dialogue just before the bridge in this route reads "The chance that change may occur fills me with determination", which might indicate that they are only doing this to see what will happen, and aren't genuine about any of the decisions they're making, hence the "fake" acts.

You know what's great about this song? At 0:48, when the song goes somber, it doesn't just feel like a reminder of the gravity of the route. It also sounds like a muffled version of a megalo (megalo strike back, in this case) motif. In pacifist, megalovania is mostly if not totally absent, while in ruthless, megalovania explicitly shows up. Here, it feels almost like a glimpse into what you (almost) did. Something that says, "Something is buried here that you just narrowly avoided. It's just there, in a timeline beyond this one, but you don't see it.
