You're so right about the brake line insights in the industry and I agree. There's no excuse not to use those parts. The saddest thing I can think of about that situation is that a Busa does not have steel braided lines but inexplicably. A Vespa 150 does have steel braided lines in the front (not on the rear because those are drum brakes because, 150 scooter)

@@tyronecastillo16 If you're looking for both style and fun, the XSR 700 is the way to go.
I'd only choose the SV650 if I wanted to change the muffler for an aftermarket one (you'll need to change the whole system or cut the existing one on the Yamahas).
It's fun and cute and it's got the RPM assist, but it's not as fun as the MT07/XSR 700.
The 390 is an A2 licence bike and you'll get bored of it early.
The CFMOTO 650NK seems decent but we still don't know anything about its reliability. It's probably not that exciting too.
One thing you should also consider, is the fact that you'll lose a good amount of money if you decide to sell it.
The CLX 700 though...That's a bike I'd test ride and consider, if I didn't have the money for a Japanese or European bike.

If you even know a thing or two of Japan's current economy, they wouldnt be able to price their bikes well enough to sell due to extremely high labour cost and not enough economy of scale. When i was looking at bikes a few years back (late 2019) there was 3 or 4 nk650s for sale that were about 2 years old for sale. They were all about half the new price or less (so resale was terrible) and i think 2 of them were listed at about $2000 because they had an electrical fault causing a warning light on the dash. Both ads said the same old thing about it being a simple and cheap fix. So this made me think that it must be a common issue and for neither person to have fixed it i figured that either its not cheap/easy to fix, or that the part availability isnt great. Things may well have changed since them but it was enough to put me off. A few months back i saw a newer one for sale that mention having had the dash upgraded to the newer tft screen because it was replaced under warranty. Which made me think that if i ever bought 1 I'd only buy new then sell it once the warranty ran out. But you lose a bunch more money selling them second hand than a mt07 (especially a lams model). Buy a second hand lams mt07 and you can sell it a few years later for almost what you paid for it.

the price is a + ,but 22 kg ~ 50 lbs more than the mt09 is a NO for me.
yes yes still not too heavy, BUT
    -206 kg ~454 lbs and 41,5 kW ~ 56 hp out of 649 cm³
    compared to the mt07 with
    -184 kg ~ 406 lbs and 54 kW ~73 hp out of 689 cm³
not a killer rather an alternative as budget beginner bike imo.
in short all competitors are more expensive, but also better in alsmost evry regard. if they catch up the price will moste likely have to also catch up like the 450sr/ss to the ninja 400.
well handled in this video, but others labeled it sluggish compared to the competitors.
again, not what i call a "killer".
    am i wrong here?

I have a 650nk currently but will most likely be switching to the yamaha mt07 there are a number of drawbacks with the 650nk. Great bike for learning. But yamaha is way more refined hence the price difference. Espescially here in australia where the cf motos are hampered by the torque management in the ecu stopping them from doing wheelies 90% of the time even on the 800nk they have that problem

Brembo brake company bought J.Jaun company, which are known for their high quality brake lines and that is what comes on this bike . The Bosch fuel injection on these CFMoto NK series bikes is very nice, and the power band comes in around 5000 to 6000 rpm, and that's when it really comes alive. The other nice thing about these bikes is the slipper clutch and 6 speed transmission and the eco and sport modes, which you can tell a difference in both .
