Once came across some random mine on some random moon and passed one of the miners only for them to say "I used to be an explorer like you but then I, no, never mind, it's a long story." I knew Bethesda would sneak it in somewhere.
@@bruticus1496 Well, Wes Johnson is indeed a voiced character in the game, but if you have yet to find him, all I'll say is that you will come across him in one of the faction quest lines.
Just like why they didn’t have any other older buildings because of exactly that, they’re old. Modern buildings would probably withstand the difficult conditions better than a building built roughly 360 years ago (that’s how old it was when earth was destroyed in starfield, it’s 180 years old for us)
When I got to New Atlantis, I immediately went on a murder spree and got gunned down by The Hunter. I thought he was a special guard or bounty hunter if you cause too much crime, until I talked to him a couple times.
There's like a dozen books for earth/the moon to visit landmarks and collect snow globes - and if you get them all (which is hard, you can miss some story mission locked ones easily) there's a space suit at the end of the chain.
In the prison you go to for the Crimson fleet mission, the prison log you have to read has a prisoner named Delvin Mallory. A nod to Skyrim fans who are familiar with the thieves guild :-)
"Yeah I saw a bug" honestly I love the "Useless facts" actually gets more useless lmao i'm glad you're doing this for starfield, thanks for the entertainment bud
Would be cool if they had some more interesting landmarks for the locations on earth, the Great Wall of China would be a cool one, or the Christ The Redeemer statue, or the colosseum in Rome. There are so many iconic landmarks, but they just stuck with some dreary skyscrapers, I wish they at least added some more buildings around the skyscrapers that had points to be interacted with, like something for a quest. So many cool things that could've been added but weren't; oh well, guess we'll have to wait for the modders to do it.
i find the landmarks so weird, like why would only the empire state building survive of all the buildings in new york only that one survives, same with london etc. they are cool easter eggs but there should at least be some other rubble from the other thousands of buildings
Pretty silly that all that remains of some of the biggest cities on Earth are single buildings that happen to be iconic. No ruins or rubble surrounding them? Literally nothing but desert?
I still find it absolutely terrible that they made earth completely devoid of any rubble or ruins and instead chose random meaningless and empty landmarks...
The 'snow globes found' is one of the stats you can found under your character info/records.. I think is the only stat that track items apart from the magazines (but those weight 0.0)
It all makes sense now. Baseball fields and sport arenas are high capacity area for people to gather in an emergency. When bombs dropped, people went to their designated "safe zones" and Diamond City has evolved from the initial relief efforts
