One way to get a reason, is to create a "False Narrative" that the fans and the City of Oakland are at fault for being "unsupportive". After the 2020 Playoffs, he traded away the A's star players & their big prospects to other teams. If he didn't trade them, he refused to extend any expiring contracts and let them go through Free Agency. These were players that had the A's set for Playoff runs for the next few years. He then gave the remaining A's players & prospects who are AAA League quality at best the *lowest* Payroll in the entire MLB. Which resulted in a poor-quality team you see (even to the time this is posted). This is John Fisher's way to drive away fans, which it did. In the eyes of the fans, they refused to attend games because Fisher essentially tore the A's apart. In Fisher's eyes, the fans refused to attend games because the team was poor-quality. And he used that to pin the fault on the fans being "unsupportive". When he created the whole mess. As for the City of Oakland, he didn't bother to clean/repair the Colosseum. Let alone pitch in for a new stadium at Howard Terminal proposed by Oakland. Plans were set & John Fisher outright *refused* it and it prompted Oakland to back off (for the time being), but he used that to pin the fault on Oakland for "not holding their end of the deal". When he just outright refused it altogether. All of that just to get the A's out of Oakland. And guess who bought all of this? The MLB Commissioner, Rob Manfred. Flashforward to 2023, he's backing up Fisher to where he actually *rewarded* him to relocate the A's to Las Vegas and gave him the money to build a new stadium.
It was said in a prior part of this video; _"... who is known, Sports fans, for his glove. But _*_definitely not_*_ for his bat."_ And it also didn't help that the ball was at the height of his shoulders, making it very difficult to send it flying.
