- PCOS / PCOD महिला infertility के सबसे आम कारणों में से एक है। लेकिन आप PCOS / PCOD से गर्भवती हो सकते हैं। अधिकांश महिलाएं जीवनशैली में बदलाव और fertility drugs के संयोजन के साथ गर्भ धारण कर सकेंगी। जबकि PCOS / PCOD वाली कुछ महिलाओं को IVF की आवश्यकता होती है। आज इस वीडियो डॉ. Supriya Puranik, क्या PCOS के लिए IVF की जरूरत है? (How to get Pregnant with PCOS Quickly?) इस बारेमें बताएगी। तो जानते है PCOS/PCOD क्या है और इसकेलिए IVF की जरुरत है या नहीं ?
Symptoms of PCOS :
१. Patient का वजन ज्यादा रहने की सम्भावना होती है।
२. PCOS में periods(अवधि) अनियमित होते है।
३. Pimples(मुहासे) भी आने की सम्भावना रहती है।
४. चेहरे और शरीर पर अनचाहे बाल भी आने की सम्भावना होती है।
५. Ovaries बड़ी दिखाई देती है और उसमे बोहत सारे अंडे दिखाई देते है।
PCOS/PCOD के प्रकार (types of PCOS) :
१. Obese PCOS - जब patient का वजन पाने normal level से ज्यादा हो जाता है।
२. Lean PCOS - जब patient पतले होते है।
Causes of PCOS: सबसे बड़ा कारण यह है की इन में male hormones का निर्माण ज्यादा होता है यानि की male androgenic activity ज्यादा रहती है इसीलिए ऊपर बताये गए symptoms दिखाई देते है। इस सबके साथ ही जो एक अंडा बड़ा होना चाहिए , ovulation नहीं होता और इस वजह से conception नहीं होता और इसीलिए जो आगे 14 दिन में menstruation होता है वह भी नहीं होता।
Can I get Pregnant with PCOS ?
जब वजन ज्यादा हो तो diet और exercise के मदत से अपना 10% वजन घटना होगा। यह होने के बाद जब periods normal cycle regular हो जाते है तब conceive करने में आसानी होती है और naturally भी conceive हो सकता है। यदि यह possible नहीं है तो patient को doctor से consult करकर ovulation inducing drugs (अंडे बनाने की दवा) और फूटने के लिए इंजेक्शन लेना होगा।
इस process के बाद doctor आपको intercourse रखने की सलाह देंगे। यदि शरीर में सारे functions सही है और आपके पति के शुक्रणु की संख्या अछि होगी तब conceive होने में बिलकुल दिक्कत नहीं आती। यह timed intercourse जब 2-3 बार fail हो जाती है तब doctor आपको IUI करने की सलाह देते है। जब IUI भी fail हो जाता है तब doctor आपको IVF या Laparoscopy करने की सलाह दे सकते है।
PCOS में IVF आखरी option होती है,जब simple treatment से यानि की weight modification, timed intercourse, IUI, laparoscopic ovarian drilling से success नहीं मिलता तब doctor आपको IVF के लिए ज़रूर कहेंगे कहेंगे। और अगर आपकी शरीर की functionality बरोबर नहीं है तब डॉक्टर आपको सीधे IVF कराने के लिए कह सकते है।

आम तौर पर PCOS/PCOD को लेकर सभी लोग काफी परेशान रहते है, और लोगों का यह मानना होता की PCOS/PCOD naturally conceive नहीं होता जो की एक बहुत बड़ी गलत फैमि है। PCOS एक lifestyle डिसऑर्डर है। हर एक PCOS condition के लिए IVF की आवशकता नहीं होती है।

Totally agree with Mam, I am the example. I had pcos and was not able to Conceive since 2 years but when I started following proper diet, good lifestyle, in 6 months only, it vanished completely and conceived also

I am also a pcod patient from last 10 yrs... recently I hv got married.My doc has given oral medicine and then 2 injections for just one cycle..n he has already asked me to go for IVF treatment in December if all this fails. He has said that IVF would be a better option for me ...since oral medicine will degrade my egg quality...is it true ??

I have been continuously checking my ovulation from last few months using ovulation kit but never get success. I am not ovulating but having periods every month. I am in uk and doctors are not helpful at all. What should I do. Please help.
