If this was true, her mom confronting him alone was risky as he could have taken computers etc with him that had a lot of evidence the police needed. Never touch the cameras yourself. I did when 1 was put in my bedroom and police came in then said they couldnt do anything because i tampered with it by removing it.
That sounds like a case of LCS 'lazy cop syndrome'. Seems to be at epidemic levels in some places. Secks crimes are taken very seriously and always investigated irrespective of how they came into possession of the evidence. When I was younger living in the southwest USA a guy that worked at the county dump found an older video camera and when he saw what was on tape that was left in it he went straight to the sheriff's office and turned it over to them. The people "yes people" that were in the video eventually got long prison sentences and a relative who lived in another part of the country adopted the children.
First rule: do not put information related to ongoing legal action on the fecking Internet. Best case, the one cop in your city who isn’t corrupt has a harder time being a hero. Worst case: they can’t prosecute your case because you’ve tainted the Jory pool or something.

Hold up, few questions here, I am pretty curious as to why he recommended her bf over. My theory is that he was trying to get that footage of some stuff going down, then sell it. And why didn’t she go on vacation? Pretty unfair, but why wouldn’t he go to jail? It’s a crime.
She’s 21. She probably had work or school commitments during the vacation time. I seldom went on a family vacation once I hit 16 because I always had a job after school and on weekends.
If the stepdad was scared they would have intimacy if in the house alone, why did he encourage her to have her boyfriend over? Did he want to watch them? And also, why didn't she go on the vacation that her stepdad mom and brothers went on?
