The entitlement of these people thinking they could force you to share your driveway and inconvenience yourself. The folks assumed that because you are a single mom they could bully you and infringe on your boundaries. That’s why he chose to ask you instead of the other neighbors. Good thing you are a no nonsense person and you mean business. You gave them 2 warnings and they still continued glad you filed a report otherwise they’d continue harassing you. Good on you for standing up for yourself.

She clearly stated that she didn’t want someone’s vehicle on her property, they did it either way and instead of just towing immediately, she asked that the vehicle to be moved. They did and park right there later on. The whole thing is, she didn’t want the vehicle on her property, but they did even way so they deal with the consequences.

There’s always one family that moves in and as soon as you see them, you’re like, “they’re going to be the ones.” The ones that act like they bought a 40 acre farm and not a single family home in a residential neighborhood. In Georgia we had the “ATV family…” and it was the same way. All the neighbors, not even realizing it, banded together to get them acting right. They tried to bully and terrorize the entire neighborhood with mud and noise… all on video to the sheriff after the worthless HOA.
Okay so let me get this straight HOA will do something about the most ridiculously minute non compromising to anybody's way of life daily requests but when it comes to something that is literally impeding not to one but an entire cul-de Sacs worth of people they don't think it's an issue? HOA needs to be fucking thrown in the garbage and forgotten about because what the fuck does it actually do? And the people you appoint to instill these ridiculous rules, just have a power trip Because of an unimportant title that really holds no ground as far as REAL authority
They actually do have rules about the size of vehicles allowed. Ours restricts the length of vehicles because they would block the sidewalk. So there are no trucks this size in my suburb

My HOA ignored me when I wrote to them with pictures that the trees they are responsible for behind my back fence has grown over 3 feet onto my property and hang low enough that makes it cumbersome for me to mow the lawn. Also, there are weeds/poison Ivy that grows through the fence and looks horrible.
The previous years I called and they took care of it immediately but this year they must have had new management or got strict with their rules.
I am like this lady in the sense that I am simple and don’t bother the neighbors as I keep to myself.
I have the older emails to reference but the next time I reach out for them to take care of the issue then I’m going to request they spray a weed barrier behind my fence and just help with the tree branches.

You have every right to tow the trespassing vehicle on your property. You can also counter sue them and sue them for harassment. The AUDACITY is honestly insane.
No damaging the vehicleakes you just as bad as the neighbors. However 100% of the time that truck or any vehicle is in your driveway or blocking the driveway, call and have the vehicle towed.
You park in your garage but you need the driveway to get in and out.
No you did the right thing simply because if you would have told him to move it the second time they would have moved it it would have repeated over and over and over so you towing it you saved yourself a lot of headache and a lot of trouble and they're teaching their entitled child that they are allowed to do with whatever they want to do without any consequences instead of holding their child accountable for their actions they are encouraging it and that is setting up the child to fail so what you did you taught them a valuable lesson that they cannot get away with crimes

There is something I don’t like about the people who are giving her support is that how they were telling her that she should’ve done something to the car like mess it up and damaged it if she would’ve done that then she could’ve got actually sued and I just think that she did the right thingshe didn’t do anything illegal. She just did what anybody else in her position would do after they inform the people that they shouldn’t do that.

Reminds me of the people across the street from me, they have like.. 6 vehicles, 2 huge Trucks exactly like the one in this video, a little red Miata, an SUV and a little blue Toyota, and another white Toyota. They don’t park any of them in their garage because they use that garage as a shop which isn’t allowed, but nobody’s doing anything. They’re getting fined, but they got money so they don’t care. So they stuff the two trucks, the Miata, and the SUV in the driveway, and park the other two on the street. It drives everyone here nuts, but there’s nothing anyone can do about it because they’re allowed to do that. It’s a small street too, so backing out of my driveway is like reverse Tetris with extra steps. And don’t get me started when they pull out the boat from who knows where!
People like that family don't respect others and they believe they can do anything because they believe they are above the law. Good for you if you had damaged his truck that you would have been as bad as them.
I wish I had parents like that spend stupid money on a car or truck I would never need dam.... I am very happy with the ending though it is nice to know there are still good people out there,
NGL. I expected more drama, but I suppose that’s what makes it so realistic. It’s nice to see that something came out of all this and I’m glad the family finally gave up. I hadn’t even thought about how a large vehicle could make so much trouble, and I’m the kind of guy that plans on getting a large truck when I’m older. But at least I know now and if I ever do get that car, I’ll make sure I either have a smaller vehicle like a motor cycle if I’m going to another persons house (so I don’t block the road) and have a large enough property so other cars can still fit in (for if I ever have a girlfriend and some other people like guests or even future children)

She says it's real in one of the updates, but I find it strange the detail people go into about their backgrounds and doctor visits, etc.
Story would be 5 minutes long with out that, and we don't need to know what happened at the doctor visits or how her relationship with old neighbour bloomed.
The basic story is plausible enough, and I think most people ave experienced someone with that level of entitlement.
Also the fact the judge just gave a fine.
Were it fake I think the kids car would have been destroyed and he would have got 2 years in prison and the family would have moved away in shame.
