  • Back in LA and this time Gary is sure he will get this beautiful 1950s Mercedes 190SL finished. Its owner Dan wants to take it to a car show at the end of the week, but will a creaking suspension, botched bumpers or one of LA’s worst storms get in the way?!

How you only have 25k subscribers is a sin. It won’t be long before this channel ‘goes large’. Never change your down to Earth, can do style. 👍🏻

Much appreciated guys! I enjoy it. I never wanted to get into any clever tricks to gain numbers or subs. Just let it grow organically. I just wanna do my thing and hopefully encourage a few of us to have a go ourselves and sharing a few stories along the way. I see it as a great community. Kind regards.

The TV is the main way that lies and propaganda is poured into our minds, while we’re relaxed and our guard is down.
We threw out our TVs in mid-2020. Because of my former profession, it was stark that literally everything they were telling us was lies. Nothing has changed.

I really love and appreciate these videos. So well presented, they must take hours in the editing.
On the subject of sealed for life ball joints, I recently gave my son my 1962 Citroen ID 19 which I’d had for 20 years. Every steering joint, driveshaft coupling and other ball joints equipped with grease nipples meaning that not one has needed replacing in over 60 years.
I’ve owned several DS Citroens over the years and what marvellous cars they have been.
Not a greasing point in sight on my ‘’80’s RR Silver Spirit. …..

I agree. Some of that French engineering is so simple and years ahead of its time. I love the SM although the Maserati engined model seemed a little ambitious for the time, what a thing of beauty. Regards.

I've seen a 1958 Merc 190SL at my local Mercedes dealer which is on display. It isn't quite as good as that white one. I loved the R107s at the show. There's also a 1984 R107 380SL on display in the same dealer as the 190SL. There were quite a few RHD cars at that show.
