Sister, I loved listening to your story. You were quite a Tom boy when you were young. And Jesus wanted you to serve him. Praise God for your obedience to the Holy Spirit 🙏
Thank you Sr Faustina fot your inspiring story. Every vocation is a miracle of grace. May many more young people & not so young respond to this beautiful call from God.
Thank you Sister, the Church needs more folk like you in the contemplative life, you are a great example of Gods Love in the World through your Prayer and vocation, God bless you.
Thank you, Sister Faustina for sharing your testimony. I smiled when you said that you felt afraid to pray for knowledge of God's plan for you as you mightn't want to do it or like it :) this I can relate to... God Bless you and thanks be to GOD for working through you and in you
Hi Sister! Your story reminds me of Sister Clare Crockett's. God draws straight with crooked lines, always guiding us to our food source which is his son. I am a widow indeed (61) considering a vocation. Was in Cork and Cobh back in the fall. Do you know of any Poor Clares that accept the service of widows in some way shape or form? May God continue to bless you to the core of your being.
Such a lovely encouraging story. You obviously have a genuine relationship with the Lord. Your comments on gaining peace and freedom are so true to the scriptures.
I think that people tend to have a notion of freedom as libertarian freedom, which really reduces freedom to choice: one is free to the extent that one chosen. But, along with the Church Fathers, I think we have to affirm that choice is only the necessary precondition for freedom: you are not free when you have chosen but only when you have chosen well. Freedom is to flourish as a human being.
A private revelation was given liturgical status by a conservative Pope -- go figure. He also eliminated the devil’s advocate in sainthood causes, the number of miracles, and the fifty year wait for proceedings. So much for a traditional. Trads pick and choose which traditions to keep
